Well, this night couldn’t get any better. Her eyes crinkled with excitement at the sight of the handsome stranger actually conducting a conversation with her. Usually, Sooyoung would keep to herself and be standing outside practically calling a cab while ditching her so-called friend. For some reason letting go tonight had been one of the most amazing decisions of her life--and letting her know she should get out more. Especially if there were going to be a lot more handsome men she’d be bumping into. Her mind was pulled back sluggishly when she heard him speak.
His tone was almost calming to her even though she was pretty much down right drunk (damn being lightweight). Sooyoung leaned in as she tried her best to focus on him through the booming music and sweaty, loud human beings dancing to it. “My name is Sooyoung.” She spoke confidently, the alcohol coursing through her and giving that liquid courage people desire. “Why I’ve never been here? I’m pretty lame.” She said sheepishly for a second while tucking one of her lose locks behind her ear. “I don’t go out much because of studying for one.” That and you’re afraid of real life. Her consciousness (though completely swayed from liquor) rang out as she mentally hit herself.
“And, to be honest, I’m super shy unless... I have a little help.” She was rambling now and that wasn’t something she didn’t want to do. The girl couldn’t help it when seeing someone she was attracted to--and who was attracted to her. “Let’s just say I usually don’t go out.” She decided to leave it at that while placing the empty cup she had in her hands on a tray that was walking by.
“Now how about you tell me your name since you were so kind enough to let my clumsiness slide.” She tilted her head to the side with a giant smile, her eyes surprisingly never leaving his. Keeping good eye contact was something that Sooyoung wasn’t used to giving. It kind of scared her actually. If she was good friends with someone then maybe it wouldn’t be that scary, but staring at a stranger? It was definitely making her feel goosebumps--and he showed interest in her too!

“You know,” he starts, drinking again, eyes still on her, never leaving her face. Jiyong is one to look at people right in their eyes. “Every girl who bumps into me like that has to pay me something,” and then he leans in until he is closer to her, but not too close to comfort, “now you gotta say your name, and explain why I never saw you around before. And I know it’s your first time here. I would’ve noticed otherwise.”

“I swear I’m starting to think you seriously love me being a third wheel.” Here she was again standing in a line for another club. The first time her friend had approached her to go she instantly turned away the offer before her friend began guilt tripping her. Though she wanted to throw how her friend makes her a third wheel into her face she unfortunately said she would go. Low and behold, who was there to greet them? Her friend’s boyfriend. They had been in line for a good two hours just because she had heard that this club was getting incredibly famous. Sooyoung crossed her arms when she looked up at the logo. Underworld? She didn’t mind the name, but she thought that it would be full of ... well, different people. After showing her ID and being let inside, she could feel the headache-inducing bass. “No, not tonight.” She grumbled to herself as she made her way over to one of the tables. At this moment is when she would order herself a water and go outside to wait for her friend to be done. This time she decided she was having fun of her own. “Oooh, don’t mind if I do--” She spoke while taking the two shots that were on a tray being passed around. Immediately she downed both of them, tilting her head back so the alcohol would actually make its way down her throat. The burn was atrocious and she definitely wasn’t used to drinking, so she felt the burn all the way until it settled in her stomach. “Ah, fuck that hurt...” She mumbled to herself before sitting for another ten minutes. The one bad thing about Sooyoung was she was extremely lightweight. However, the bass of the music wasn’t overwhelming anymore and she felt relaxed. “One more wouldn’t hurt.” She took a shot straight out of someone’s hands and took it right away. This time there was no burn and she smiled widely. “Now, it’s time for some fun!” She stated to no one in particular as she made her way to the dancefloor. She went from being the most boring of the night to the most popular. She danced for about twenty minutes, her hips swaying from side to side, her skin sheer with sweat before she nearly tripped and made the crowd laugh. “Okay, I’m going to go sit out for a bit--I’ll be back--!” She announced to the group she had been dancing with who had cheered for her as she left. Her movements weren’t necessarily the greatest and one foot just couldn’t go in front of the other. Sooyoung suddenly felt herself tripping and nearly falling against someone, quickly grabbing the drink that fell from her hands. “Wow...that was close!” She glanced up, seeing a tall, slender and very handsome man in front of her. “And I totally just bumped into you. I’m sorry.” She laughed, her hand brushing her hair over to one side. “Though surprisingly I didn’t spill my drink, so ... there’s that positive.”

Clubs were definitely not Sooyoung’s forte, yet here she was standing in line for one of the most loudest clubs in the city. Her head was already pounding from the amount of bass that was exerting from the speakers inside. “Can’t we just go home and read?” She had nearly begged her friend that had dragged her along for the night. There was a boy next to her friend who kept stealing her attention and she mumbled something along the lines of, “No--staying here--have fun!” Wow, mega third wheel. Wrinkling her nose, the fair-skinned girl showed her ID to the bouncer up front before walking inside quickly to avoid the couple that was next to her. She did not want to be seen with them. Instead she immersed herself in the crowd of people, the smell nothing nice as she tried to make her way towards the less-crowded bar.
This is absolutely great.
Finally she found herself secluded (as well as she could be) by the bar. Letting out a huge sigh, the small girl turned around and asked the bartender for a water. She was smart enough to know not to drink especially by herself. As soon as she grabbed the glass of water, they were like vultures swarming up to her. A group of three males all looking for a bunch of trouble. Sooyoung let out a frustrating sigh. Why did she have to run into all of these types of situations? Why did she have to be the damsel in distress? She could have asked herself questions all night, but that wasn’t going to help the situation in front of her.
“What are you doing here alone, darling? You don’t even look old enough to be in here.”
“Yeah, why don’t you let us gentlemen escort you to a nicer place?”
“It’s way more fun where we want to take you.”
She blocked out their constant feedback, tipping the water up to her lips to wet them before giving them the best glare she could. “No thanks.” It was simple and crystal clear she was not interested. This answer wasn’t something they wanted to hear. She even felt a hand on her arm, the group of males getting restless. “Hey--let go of me--! I said no!” She screamed at them over the music as her eyes desperately tried to grab someone’s attention. Her voice was drowned over the sound of the music the DJ was playing and it seemed she was totally alone. I wish someone was here to help me...!
