if you kill yourself, you’ll never find out if things got better, and how your life turned out. did you graduate college? get married, buy that house and have kids? did you get that dog breed you’ve always wanted? do you have grandchildren? what do their lives entail? although these things seem impossible, somewhat undesirable right now, hold on.

Who will be the next Kylie Jenner in a few years? What’s going to be the song of the year in year 2021? What shows are coming to broadway? What pop stars and celebrities haven’t gotten their big break yet?

If you kill yourself, you’ll never be able to get that tattoo. go to concerts, meet your favorite celebrity. travel the world. swim with dolphins, scuba dive, hang glide, skydive.. what ever your heart desires. you wont be able to do it.

It’s time

It’s time for me to cuss some of y'all tf out. I’m getting pissed because of people’s lack of consideration for the twins’ space.

First of all, as someone who (as a photographer) works with models who have many fans, and has fans myself we love & I LOVE meeting them and getting to talk to them and this is what all of this is about:

Time. And. Fucking. Place.

Meeting fans is great!

WHEN it’s proper time and place. For months I hid WHO I hung out with & WHERE I was going because I’ve HAD people find out what state I live in, what town I live in, and THE PEOPLE I’M FRIENDS WITH. And I’m not even close to as big as the boys are. So imagine THAT fear on a MUCH larger scale and with a LESS intimate relationship with their followers.

Without a doubt: privacy IS FUCKING privacy. As someone who has been literally stalked by “fans” I can tell you this isn’t just some immature thing that people do. Stalking isn’t fucking cute. It makes people fearful. “Fame” doesn’t excuse your lack of fucking respect for another person. Being a “fan” doesn’t excuse obsessive and creepy behavior. It doesn’t excuse stalking.

FOLLOWING THE BOYS AROUND TO THEIR PRIVATE LOCATIONS IS STALKING. KNOCKING ON THEIR DOORS IS STALKING. KNOWING THEIR EVERY MOVE IS STALKING. PERIOD.

AND IT’S PEOPLE LIKE THAT THAT PUT A BAD TASTE IN PEOPLE’S MOUTHS.

Yes, it is not hard to dig up info on someone.

But it doesn’t mean you have the right to do it.

They have absolutely every right to a private life. They have absolutely every right to hang out with whoever the FUCK they want, they have every right not to release who they’re dating, and most importantly:

THEY HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO GO HOME AND NOT WORRY ABOUT PEOPLE KNOCKING ON THEIR FRONT DOOR.

I’m going to get real fucking serious with you right now. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE NO MATTER WHO IT IS, IS ENTITLED TO PRIVACY. IS ENTITLED TO RESPECT. IS ENTITLED TO COMMON FUCKING COURTESY.

It’s condoning and excusing the actions of obessive people, of stalkers that adds to the stigma of fame. Fame shouldn’t come with a warning label that says:“warning you may get killed because someone is mad at you for dating someone because they’ve deluded themselves into thinking that you’re LITERALLY married to them” or “warning people may follow your exact location and know where you live and come to your house at all hours of the night.”

The boy’s are entitled to privacy. And that’s in ALL aspects of their lives. Yes, it’s okay to want to meet them. It’s EVEN okay to want to date them. It’s okay to be updated on what they’re doing. It’s okay to love them. But it is absolutely NOT okay to stalk them. It is not okay to show up at their house. It is not okay to record them without consent.

As someone who outside of the fandom HAS fans herself, (and I don’t speak for the boys themselves but as someone who has some sort of insight on it) it’s absolutely AWESOME to take photos with followers & fans. It’s absolutely awesome to meet fans & followers. But only when it’s appropriate situations. Don’t stalk the boys. Don’t do things you wouldn’t want someone to do to you. Do NOT show up at their houses. Do not show up at their vacation homes. Do not record them without consent & do not take photos without consent. Respect them. Respect all people in positions of “fame.” & do NOT excuse the behavior of those who lack consideration and do something that the twins said not to do.
