PROMPTS FOR ASKING FAVORS
* Ā assorted dialogue, adjust as necessary
would you just stand there for a second? don't move.
i need you to do something for me.
can you keep a secret?
hand me that over there, would you?
i need your help with this. seriously.
just give me five minutes of your time.
i've always helped you out. why can't you help me?
could you bring me a glass of water?
there's no one else i can turn to.
i'll show you, but you have to promise you won't tell anyone.
would you pick that up for me?
just stand there and don't move. i won't hit you.
please turn the music down.
here, would you sign this for me?
take this to [name] and say it's from me.
you drive. i've done enough driving for the week.
there's something important i have to ask you.
what if i said i needed you to do one more thing?
could you stick around and help me for a while?
i can't do it without your help.
before you go, there's something else i need.
can you grab it from the top shelf? i can't reach.
i just need you as a stand in.
would you cover for me?
could you swing by and help me?
it's a big ask. i don't think you're ready for this.
i need to run into town to grab a few things. will you come with me?
hold this for a second.
i need you to lure them somewhere.
i could really use your help if you're willing to give it.
no one else wanted to help me.
can i ask you to do something for me?
i need a favor. it's urgent.
could you tuck me into bed?
i'd really like some advice from you.
i can't sleep. would you stay here a while?
there's no one else i can ask.
if they ask, tell them you're me.
you owe me a favor.
i need you to go in my place.
i'm asking a favor. a big favor.
i don't like asking you for help, but i don't have a choice.
this is a big ask. are you sure you're willing to help?
i need more than just words. i need action.
i'm having trouble lifting this. can you help me?
i'm terrible at making a bed.
you didn't have to help me out there.

Perky wasnāt the worst thing sheās been called, so sheāll take it. Andie was murdered just like Caroline was, but Carolineās seemingly had a smidge more time to process it. āWeāre both vampires, you donāt need to fun aunt me.ā Caroline teases, letting her blonde locks fall down her shoulders with ease. Itās been a rough couple of days for the both of them. With Andie, it was memory lane, with Caroline it was trying not to get her head chopped off. Both painful, just in different ways. She knows that Andieās past was difficult to get over, she had a life. A career she loved. Of course sheād hate to get rid of it.
āI think you were better off leaving.ā Caroline says honestly. āI came back for a similar reason and somehow I got roped up in the same drama I tried leaving.ā Her old friends getting into predicaments that they canāt get out of alone. āWent to New Orleans just like you and somehow weāre both back to where we started.ā A shake to her head, a small sigh. She went back trying to find an old flame that wasnāt there. Now sheās going down memory lane without her mother being alive and sheās at a standstill of what she wants.

With being a party princess , Caroline has come into contact with all kinds of kids. Loud children, who attack her as soon as she gets to the door, tugging on her dress and wonāt let her move until their parents pull them off of her. Quiet children, who sit and stare at her until theyāre comfortable enough to sit beside her in her giant blue dress whilst she sings happy birthday to them. And children who are frightened of a Princess showing up at their door unannounced. Melody just so happened to be the second type, which Caroline was perfectly fine with.
āHi Melody.ā She says softly, Cinderella voice on display and sheās kneeled down at her level but not as loud as usual. Gloved hands are wrapped around her small basket of goodies, large pearly white smile staying on her lips as the father welcomes her inside. Her job is to make sure every child has a good time, even if she has to do some tricks to get it out of them.
The house is nice, homey. Whenever Caroline goes to a house, she doesnāt pay too much attention to anything besides the child, but it was hard not to pay attention to the art work on the walls. āWow, Melody. You have such a beautiful home!ā Caroline exclaims, glancing around the room for something she can talk about. āIs that you?ā She points to a picture of Melody and her father. āAnd who is that? Is that dad?ā She points back to Eric with a grin.
āI brought you some gifts, Melody. Would you like to see them?ā
ā alright.Ā okay,Ā iĀ trustĀ you,Ā youĀ areĀ theĀ professional. āĀ heĀ letsĀ outĀ aĀ nervousĀ chuckle,Ā despiteĀ hisĀ words,Ā ā soĀ iĀ guessĀ we'llĀ seeĀ youĀ soon. āĀ andĀ findĀ outĀ ifĀ she'sĀ right.Ā he'sĀ reallyĀ hopingĀ sheĀ is. Ā
afterĀ speakingĀ withĀ caroline,Ā ericĀ checksĀ inĀ onĀ mel.Ā thankfullyĀ blueyĀ isĀ stillĀ holdingĀ herĀ attentionĀ forĀ now.Ā heĀ knowsĀ it'sĀ notĀ theĀ bestĀ ideaĀ stickingĀ herĀ inĀ frontĀ ofĀ theĀ tvĀ butĀ theĀ momentĀ ofĀ peaceĀ itĀ allowsĀ givesĀ himĀ timeĀ toĀ makeĀ theĀ placeĀ presentable.Ā andĀ heĀ desperatelyĀ neededĀ aĀ momentĀ ofĀ peace.Ā heĀ flitsĀ aroundĀ theĀ houseĀ to,Ā atĀ theĀ veryĀ least,Ā makeĀ sureĀ theĀ placeĀ isn'tĀ aĀ deathĀ trapĀ ofĀ trippingĀ hazards.Ā stuffedĀ toysĀ andĀ dollsĀ removedĀ fromĀ theĀ floor,Ā stuffedĀ underĀ anĀ arm. Ā
itĀ hitsĀ himĀ then,Ā hisĀ parentingĀ isĀ goingĀ toĀ beĀ onĀ display,Ā judged,Ā byĀ someoneĀ whoĀ hasĀ seenĀ plentyĀ ofĀ otherĀ childrenĀ andĀ theirĀ parents.Ā walkingĀ backĀ toĀ theĀ livingĀ roomĀ heĀ chewsĀ onĀ hisĀ lipĀ anxiously.Ā he'sĀ alwaysĀ thoughtĀ heĀ wasĀ doingĀ aĀ goodĀ jobĀ withĀ mel.Ā she'sĀ healthy,Ā clever,Ā seemsĀ likeĀ aĀ happyĀ littleĀ girl. . .Ā butĀ thatĀ couldĀ justĀ beĀ whatĀ heĀ sees.Ā whatĀ heĀ believes. Caroline feels as though sheās offended, but she shakes it off as quickly as she can before sheās adjusting her ringlet curls that were falling from her hairpin. They were sat at a table , and as much as Caroline could claim that she was a skeptic, Cassandra comments could make anyone a believer.
āAnd what kind of growing awareness do you have?ā She questions, leaning in close to her from across the table. āAny secrets about me I should be aware of?ā
Ā Ā Ā @for4besĀ Ā said; Ā Ā to call a person superstitious is to imply they fear magic . ( cassandra )

CASSANDRA SHAKES HER HEAD, BROWS FURROWING whilst she smoothes out the wrinkles in her crimson red gown.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āOn the contrary,ā She responds, offering Caroline a small smile amidst her quiet words. āI believe that receiving such a label ought to be a compliment of the highest order. It implies a growing awareness of our universe that most souls will never manage to acquire.ā

Caroline puffs up her cheeks with air before letting them deflate, looking around for in case someone else was lurking around. āOkay,ā she wearily sighs, taking a step closer to him. āIf something bad happens to you and I get my head chopped off for treason Iām going to die along with you and haunt you from the grave.ā She warns , pointing her finger at his face. Not that it would happen, but it could. Caroline takes another step closer, locking eyes with him before her fangs are on full display, beginning to run at him.
Caroline had a long path ahead of her and he was responsible for her success . fighting was one of the first talents she had to master in order to stay with them - to be useful to the leaders '' we've been training for a while now . I want to see your skills āand please , do not insult me like that . if a bite could kill me that easily I wouldn't be here now . do your best . i expect nothing less . ''

āIāve heard stories about serial killers since I was young. Even the smallest of towns have history, sir. Mystic Falls is no different.ā Caroline says, feeling smaller in her spot as he follows her inside. Heās tall, towering above her without heels on.
The blonde nods feverishly regardless at the notion of him wanting to walk her home and spend even more time together. The fact that he cares about her safety is enough to have her mind spinning. She is just a girl in that aspect, cheeks pink at the thought of a man asking her mother permission to walk her home. āIād enjoy that very much. Getting to know you , that is. But also asking my mother for permission.ā She says, not as excited or bouncy as her insides, but still grinning ear to ear. āIf you are uncomfortable you do not have to stay if you do not wish to.ā Caroline interjects, leading them towards the small hole in the wall kitchen. āMy home is not much, but Iāve been told I make a good cup of tea.ā
Thereās a part of her that admires the manās chivalry, and sheās unable to hide the glimmer of sweetness that sits in her gaze whenever she looks back at him. Carolineās mother is never home, and when she is, sheās trying to pretend like she has been home all along. Itās bittersweet to be so ignored yet loved at the same time, whether her mother realizes it or not. If she comes home tonight it would be a miracle. If she comes home tomorrow, it would be a surprise, considering the sheriff breathed work more than she breathed motherhood.
With the stove turned on and the kettle placed onto the burner, she moves over to the counter and rests her back against it as she crosses her arms over her chest. āWhere did you say you were from, Mr. Mikaelson?ā She asks, already pressing him for answers. āAnd do you travel often?ā
ā Anotherā¦serial killer? I was not aware that the lovely town of Mystic Falls had to endure such a heinous thing, I was hoping that perhaps smaller towns would be spared from suchā¦cruelty. ā His face reflects his words, worry, and concern so perfectly painted on, a mask that fits perfectly in every nook and cranny. It had to have been Katherine, she must have had her fun before running away. Especially since he had heard that she was associating with other vampires, a whole group of them, and to feed a group of vampires, wellā¦some blood would have to be spilled.
ā I hope that this time around it is as the mayor had said, just some very unfortunate animal attacks. Iāve heard the menfolk will be gathering in the square tomorrow, with their guns to venture further into the forest around and catch the mountain lion or whatever it has been causing all of this grief. ā Heāll give them something to find, make sure that they are at least a bit perplexed, unsure if it was all due to vampires, and get them off his trail. He still needs to stay there for a bit longer, so he should play nice, for now.
ā A cup of tea would warm me right up Miss Caroline, thank you. ā Eyes glance down to her neck before Klaus smiles, the girl unknowingly had invited in the worst monster of them all. ā I wonāt stay too long, it wouldnāt be proper and I wouldnāt want your mother to think of meā¦well on bad terms, especially since Iāve been enjoying your company, and hope to enjoy it more during my stay, of course, if you are in agreement. ā
One step over the threshold and he is inside, eyes still glued to the beautiful Caroline. He wasnāt lying, she was a lovely surprise, a nice way to spend his time while he makes his trap and finds out more about the town in the meantime. ā I would be happy to walk you home anytime youād like, especially while it is still dangerousā¦if youād be more comfortable, I would ask your motherās approval first? ā

Caroline accepts Esmeās recommendation, a nod to her head as she stuffs her hands in her hoodieās pockets. The night is beautiful, moon glimmering up above. Back when she was human she used to be an early riser, and would be awake before the sun even came up. Now she canāt see the sunset without her ring. Not all vampires have had the same tools as she does, so her interactions with the cullens have been under the light of the moon or through the overcasted clouds.
āAre you happy as a vampire?ā Her voice ponderous, cutting it straight to the point. Carolineās forwardness has always been a touchy trait, yet itās heightened with her vampirism.
āWhat I mean to say is, would you change it?ā
Esme let Caroline dictate everything; next move, distance, decisions. She could have left the girl alone, but it didn't settle right on her shoulders. Even a simple check in would help put Esme's mind at ease regardless if Caroline wanted company or notā at least Esme tried.
She waits for Caroline to throw the hoodie over her head, only getting back on her feet when Caroline confirms she wants to get out and about.
Esme offers a nod, following Caroline as she leaves the room, gently closing the door behind her. She trails Caroline until they're outside, the woods offering space walls can't. "We can follow the stream," Esme suggests, almost in a whisper. "I often find the water a good distraction."

Caroline notices the marks of the fangs that once pressed into the other womanās neck. Sheās not phased, nimble fingers dancing upwards to trace around the scars gently. There was a time in her life where sheād been involuntarily the fangbanger, but now sheās the one with the fangs. Caroline still canāt believe how her life has ended up sometimes, but in the moment none of it matters except for the fact that sheās here at some skeezy bar with one of the cutest girls sheās ever seen.
āI guess so.ā She says simply, licking her lips. Sheād ask how many vampires have fed off her if she cared. Maybe it was one and maybe it was one hundred, but she didnāt know this woman enough to get jealous. They were strangers , thatās it. āYouāre giving me orders?ā A laugh, but she can sense how needy the other woman was. Caroline thinks that Aurora wants it more than she does, but it makes her snicker and feel boastful with pride. Like sheās the one in charge, because she is.
Caroline hums, dipping her head down to press a kiss to Auroraās neck before going for the bite shamelessly. Caroline is messy when she eats, and this time is no different. Her fangs pierce porcelain skin, but her tongue does most of the work. Sucking and lapping up the divine liquid as she presses the woman against her fangs, not the other way around.
aurora's breath hitches in her throat when caroline touches her. the vampires didn't usually beat around the bush. they were always so hungry. but things didn't always turn sexual. sometimes, it was just a feeding. wham, bam, thank you ma'am. but the way that the vampire is now spreading her legs open and slotting herself between them, she knows that she's going to end up fucking the vampire, tonight. not that she has anything against that. caroline is sexy, even for a vampire. ā yeah, i suppose i am. everyone needs to feed. even vampires. i'm just helping my fellow men. ā so what if it was...
exciting? true blood was disgusting. synthetic. like crappy, junk food. blood bags were like frozen food. who was she to deny a vampire the good stuff? organic, range free food? one hand moved to the other woman's shoulder, grabbing onto her. she shuddered at the whisper, biting her lower lip as her free hand grabs hold of caroline's arm. she lets out a breathless laugh. ā does it? don't we both want the same thing? ā she pulled back enough so she could meet the blonde's eyes. hers went to her lips, the fangs on display making her moan. she tilted her head to the side, blonde locks falling out of the way to expose a flawless, pale neck. it had been a while since her last visit.
but the faint scars of two fangs were still present. ā i want you to feed. ā she purred, one hand now grabbing caroline's hair, fingers threading through the blonde locks as she gently pushed her head towards her pulse point. the heat was already pooling in her stomach.

Thereās a feeling of pride coursing through Caroline, that sheās won something that didnāt exist. She grins, however, pointing over to the mantle. āWe can start over there and make it festive.ā She says firmly , warm gaze meeting his as she just loves the time of year where everything is lit up and people can come together. Caroline bends down to grab a box of her own. āDo you like the holidays?ā

First note to self : do not compare animals to other animals that can be found in cutesy animated movies. Caroline writes that down in her brain for later. Second note to self: She is like the cheetah that preys on the zebra in all of those nature documentaries. Caroline stands awkwardly as he explains the whole ordeal, blinking every couple of seconds to make sure he knows sheās still listening, but also incredibly icked out. Caroline rolls her shoulders back as she shivers, running a very uncomfortable hand across her face. Stefan was gone in a blink of an eye, and Carolineās face scrunches together as she hears the deer wail.
This would be the time to turn around and frantically run through the bushes like a coward with her arms flailing out. Caroline, if she was still human, would probably be doing that, locking her door behind her and never seeing Stefan again after murdering Bambi. Caroline instead speeds next to him, covering her eyes as she listens to him speak. The deer is still alive, she can hear itās heartbeat like a snare drum. āYes, I will drink.ā She replies, unenthused, peeking at the bloody deer through her fingers.
It doesnāt smell as good as human blood, but it kind of reminds her of vegan meals. Itās almost the real thing. Got a different texture and ingredients but if you squint it could be the same thing. The blondeās already broken rule number one, and she already knows sheās got the first flight down to hell when this is all over anyway.
Caroline jogs in place a moment , taking a deep breath before sheās on her knees, bright blue gaze locked onto the fear struck deer for a moment before that same stare is clouded over by dark veins and black rims. āSorry, Bambi.ā She mutters, before her staggered breathing is subsided by her fangs piercing into the skin of the animal, tongue lapping the blood until itās heart begins to falter.
Caroline reaches up to grab onto Stefanās arm, as if to say āStop me before it dies.ā She squeezes his arm at the same time as she laps up the blood, because at least sheās not alone in this.
stefan can tell that caroline is still on the fence about attacking a wild animal. he could compare this to a documentary or the circle of life but he's sure that it would make her even more uneasy. "rule number one, don't compare them to animated deer. it'll make it harder to hunt them."
he takes a step back, forest green eyes fixate on the bushes as he uses every sense to track down the mammal rustling about. completely unaware of what's about to happen to them. "it may look a little awkward since it's been a long time since i did this in front of anyone." the last time was around lexi after she proposed to have picnic together. they went off to the woods, the younger vampire hunted his meal while the eldest drank from a blood bag. it was a good day.
"it's all about speed and since we're faster than the average deer and rabbit, it should be easy." he explains, "you just have to lunge at them, like for instance, those animal documentaries when there's a heard zebras or antelopes and cheetah just comes charging towards them?" there it is. "it's like that."
in the blink of an eye, the vampire speeds behind the bush. a sharp yelp rings through the woods before it goes silent. he holds the deer down, it struggles underneath his strong grip. "pierce your fangs through the jugular," fangs sink into the mammals neck, their convulsion becomes gradually more lethargic as he starts consuming its blood. after taking a couple of drinks, stefan pulls way and cleans the corners of his mouth. "want a drink?" he cautiously asks, turning his head in caroline's direction to see her reaction.
