I’m Leaving

I decided that I will not use my accounts (this one and my Ready Jet Go!) one anymore, as well as my Twitter and ToonZone. Why? Because I feel bad for being on all these accounts. 

Also, this site is pretty toxic. And I feel scared, because all these porn blogs keep liking my ideal CN schedule post for some reason.

I will always like cartoons, Cartoon Network, LazyTown, VeggieTales, PBS Kids, Steven Universe, The Loud House, Ready Jet Go!, etc.

Status of Disney XD Shows

Currently in Production. excludes Acquisitions.

Big Hero 6: The Series - Currently on Hiatus during Season 1, a possibility it will move to Disney Channel as well. Already renewed for a Second Season ahead of Season 1 premiere. 

DuckTales - Currently on Hiatus during Season 1, will move to Disney Channel starting in May. Already renewed for Season Season ahead of Season 1 Premiere.

Future-Worm! - Officially Cancelled, the last 4 episodes will air in May with the Series Finale on Saturday, May 19.

MECH-X4 - Currently in it’s Second Season, reruns and new episodes did air on Disney Channel during it’s first and second season, but unsure if it will move full time on Disney Channel.

Milo Murphy’s Law - Currently on Hiatus, Season 2 will premiere on Disney Channel instead of Disney XD sometime in August 2018. 

Star vs. the Forces of Evil - Currently on Hiatus. Season 4 will premiere on Disney Channel instead of Disney XD possibly later in 2018.

Walk the Prank - Currently in Hiatus. Reruns and New Episodes have aired before on Disney Channel. Season 3 premieres Saturday, April 21.

Boxman Jr. - inspirations & concept sketches!

Let’s talk Boxman Jr.!!

First off!!! Julia did such a great job of taking in how we (Haewon, Stevie, Danny and myself) all drew him in the boards and distilling it into the malevolent little stinker that shows up onscreen! Also, Kali’s colors for him were really great!

Since Haewon and I boarded the first part of the episode, we were tasked with coming up with his design! Here are the first passes i made for him:

the main thing in my head when drawing this was that i didn’t want him to be traditionally cute - i definitely wanted him to look like a gross, stinky baby. one that looked looked like it smelled a litte sour. 

You might think he looks a bit…. familiar, and you’d be absolutely correct! When we started working on the episode, the main direction we were given for his design was…. unsurprisingly, Bowser JR. And it shows!

Buuuuut..!!! While one might think he was based COMPLETELY off of him… it was actually a subtle blend from a bunch of different sources!

Since he was a humanoid baby, and not a dragon-lizard baby, he was gonna need a nose, so I based his nose off of Olimar. Also, I’m a HUGE fan of the Breath of Fire series, so when i thought of making a strange stinky lump of a baby, Yohm (from Breath of Fire 4) immediately came to mind.

The MechaChair transformation was also really fun to make! I thought it’d be fun to make the chair an actual part of him! I wanted to highlight the fact that despite how bumbling Lord Boxman can be, he’s still a pretty capable scientist and robot engineer.

The design is partly inspired by a character named BABY HEAD COMMANDO, from an old arcade game called CAPTAIN COMMANDO! 

His design has stuck with me ever since I played it, so when I thought of how Boxman Jr. would fight, I felt it would be cool for him to ride around in a weaponized high-chair version of Boxman’s desk. i mean, c’mon, what’s cooler than a baby controlling a mech??

As for his attacks, in addition to having baby-themed attacks, I wanted him to have elements of his other robo-siblings! giant fist a la darrell, razor blades a la shannon, and a giant soccer cleat a la raymond… let’s not forget he’s not just a romantic bot, he’s a romantic SPORTS-bot. 

Siiinnnnnncccceee he’s a gross stink baby, it felt right for him to have an attack based off a tantrum… so I gave him a Tantrum Mode transformation! The beam that he launches is in the shape of an exclamation mark, since. yknow. it’s a tantrum!

That’s pretty much all I got for Boxman Jr! That’s not all of it, though! Stevie and Danny made a bunch of really cool weapons and attacks for him too!

Here’s the Cartoon Network schedule for Monday, April 9 to Sunday, April 15.

Big week for shows returning to the lineup. We Bare Bears, Steven Universe, and Mighty Magiswords all return.

Steven Universe gets (gasp!) reruns! Admittedly not much, it’s just one episode a day at 6:00am. But it’s something! And the show is back for new episodes (advertised) at 7:30pm on Mondays. The new episodes encore on Tuesday’s 6am slot. Monday and Wednesday-Friday air in order from episode 1.

Apple & Onion moves from 3:00p to 7:00a, giving We Bare Bears back its usual 3:00p weekday slot. But, as you can see, that block seems to get interrupted a lot by encores of the new Gumball, Unikitty, and Craig from Monday.

Let’s talk about that. CN has been advertising new Gumball and Unikitty airing every day when really… its just new episodes on Monday and Friday. And even then, that’s just for this week. Kinda deceptive but I guess it works!

Sunday is a pretty decent lineup. It also has two premieres now: The Powerpuff Girls at 4:00p and Mighty Magiswords at 7:30p. Not… good timeslots. Definitely shows how CN feels about those shows. At least it isn’t 7:00a on a Saturday. Speaking of which, where the hell has Justice League Action been?

speaking of toddlers, ther’s a new powerpuff girls special on sunday at 4pm (ouch.

all in all, it coud be worse. it could be the emoji movie, lol.

Cartoon Network News - April 1, 2018 edition

-It is unknown when Adventure Time will air its final episode and Minecraft special.

-The Amazing World of Gumball, Unikitty, Ben 10 Reboot, Craig of the Creek, Steven Universe, and OK K.O.! all have brand new episodes. They have their own premiere block on April 9th.

-Craig of the Creek premiered. I have to say, it is a really good show. My favorite is Kelsey. COTC has also already gained an internet fanbase. I don’t know what the ratings were for the premiere though.

-The Powerpuff Girls (2016) and Mighty Magiswords will premiere new episodes this month on Sundays, because CN practically hates those two shows. (4pm for the former, 7:30pm for the later). I don’t even like PPG 2016, but poor Mighty Magiswords.

-Ninjago returns this month Mondays at 6:30pm.

-Apple & Onion got cancelled after 10 episodes, but at least it is getting a good amount of reruns.

-We Bare Bears has been renewed for a season 4, but it is unknown when it will premiere.

-Much to the internet’s dismay, Teen Titans Go! has been renewed for a season 5 that will premiere in June. Season 4 only has 3 episodes left.

-Clarence is ending this year, but is unknown when new episodes will return.

-CN has yet to premiere the final 6 episodes of Justice League Action. They already aired in Poland.

Talk about sudden changes to the Disney Owned Networks, first Freeform changing it’s name to ABC Freeform, and now Disney Junior, yep has rebranded to the Star Butterfly Channel named after the titular character from the popular series, Star vs. the Forces of Evil. Fans of Star vs. should rejoice that Disney would dedicate an entire network to one Show.

Here’s Disney XD USA’s schedule for this week March 26-April 1. New Episodes of Pokemon air every morning except Sunday this week. Also, new episodes of Star vs. the Forces of Evil, MECH-X4, Beyblade Burst and Guardians of the Galaxy. Movies include the Disney XD premiere of The Good Dinosaur Saturday at 11 AM. 

As for reruns Mickey Mouse, DuckTales, Pickle and Peanut is gone from the schedule, in addition, Lilo & Stitch: The Series and Kim Possible will air this week. Plus, on April Fool’s Day (or Easter) this is not a Joke, FIllmore! will air reruns from 11 AM-3 PM that day. As for Marathons, they include Star vs., Milo Murphy’s Law, Lilo & Stitch: The Series, Kick Buttowski, Phineas and Ferb and Fillmore!

Even though I’m Catholic, it should be taken off because Pat Robertson has said some of the most un-Christian things for someone who claims to be Christian. It’s only on Freeform because Pat Robertson actually. founded the network. Even Freeform hates it, because they remove all Freeform branding when the 700 Club is on and they usually air it late at night.

i think The 700 Club should be taken off Freeform because it's too religious (and potentially leaning far-right) for a TV channel owned by Disney. In my opinion: that shit belongs to TBN instead. Also, what happened to different fonts for different channel charts?

I have nothing against a religious programming but yes, I do think the program should be on a religious channel. As for your other question, the reason I changed it despite being unique was so that it would be easier to read.
