Honestly, if you're in a battle and your side's wizard comes out to fight the other side's wizard, you should all just stop and watch the light show, because once those beardy fucks start chucking meteors at each other you're really not the deciding factor here anymore.

Keep seeing action movies where the hero is cocky and arrogant and outspoken and everytime he meets a woman or a tech guy they have to prove their worth to him and he wins every time and for some reason, we’re supposed to root for these heroes, even find them attractive.

And then along comes Ethan Hunt, who is kind and gentle even with strangers, who wants to save the whole world but especially his friends, respects the women and tech guys and basically everyone who isn’t some kind of management, is very intelligent; quite often does quite badly in a fight, is always really surprised when his crazy stunt wins and would die for you ten minutes after he met you.

He’s the one we all adore and yet movies keep giving us heroes of the type, not the second.

i like to imagine that Maria’s dad is still kicking, although he’s slowed down a lot and is not as involved in running Jackson as he once was. He’s played by Danny Glover (the old guy, not Childish Gambino) and he’s super eccentric and has this amazing garden that he spends most of his time in. He’s super excited about Maria and Tommy’s baby but he’s decided one’s not enough; he sees that Ellie has become part of Maria’s extended family and decides that’s a GRANDBABY. No, he doesn’t care who she is or isnt related to, that’s a little girl in his family so that’s a grandchild

and ellie is at first put off by the weird old guy but hes so FUNNY and has such good stories and is so good at roasting tommy that he overcomes her dislike very quickly

They don't actually want a heterosexual pride, they don't want a natural family month, they don't want the Christian flag represented at government buildings.

They want two things.

They want there to be no pride months, they want no pride flags, no pride festivals. They want the ones in existence to end.

But most importantly, they want to piss you off.

They want to make the news, they want your angry phone calls, they want you to make threats.

Don't feed them. Staaaaaarve themmmmmm.

Tell them that they're welcome to start their own initiatives, start their festivals, put up their signs. Do whatever they want, it's a free country.

There's a reason most straight pride festivals fizzle out after one year. Festivals are a lot of work and they're only worth it if you have a good reason to have one. Their reason sucks.
