Jesus wept.
John 11:35
---------------------------------------------------------
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Hebrews 4:15
When did we confuse humanity for weakness? Compassion with feebleness? At the death of His friend Lazarus and the grief that surrounded their family, Jesus wept. God made manifest was moved to tears by the circumstances in which He found himself. Understanding in your mind that all things come together for God's good is not mutually exclusive to a body and heart being overcome with grief. We'll see this modeled again in Gethsemane. The human condition is accompanied with pain. Not only did Jesus understand this but He wept for the pain of those who loved Him. It has helped me in times passed and even now to know that while God has to take some things from me, He knows the pain it causes me and even how that pain feels, He weeps with me. The second and more controversial belief I maintain is that God is even sorry for the way things turn out for us sometimes, if He wasn't there would be no reason for him to make wrong things right on account of our suffering. Today, I'm thankful to be understood.
As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.
Genesis 50:20
The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him

Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” So the Lord God formed from the ground all the wild animals and all the birds of the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would call them, and the man chose a name for each one. He gave names to all the livestock, all the birds of the sky, and all the wild animals. But still there was no helper just right for him.
Genesis 2:18-20
------------------------------------------------------------
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
Colossians 1:16-17
All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28.
Adam was created by God, for God, in the image of God, to represent God, for the good of God. Intentionally designed by his maker to lack something, yet not be totally incomplete. Verse 19 says he went to work, did his job, and completed his first assignment. The thing Adam lacked wasn't ability. The phrase "help meet for him" can be translated back to ayzer used 21 times throughout the entire bible. Two of those times are in this chapter, one is in Isaiah, and the one in Isaiah is the only time it's used in reference to a type of help that people could provide. The other 18 times it was used it refers to a divine help sent by God to sustain you in times of trouble.
A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:12
For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them"
Matthew 18:20
Your marriage is a ministry. The world will know what God's love looks like by the way you respond to your spouse. Eve was sent by God to show Adam who he was meant to be; a husband, a father, things we have to earn through emotional and spiritual growth that we CANNOT do alone. My wife has a way of unintentionally showing me that there are places I need to grow within myself by virtue of things like how we load the dishwasher differently, her way or the right way. Yet, indirectly she pours into my soul hard truths that if accepted, repented upon, and turned over to God will enable me to grow into the man God wants me to be by way of the help made meet for me. So why did God create Eve? It wasn't Good for Adam to be alone.
