This was how I imagined her before they told us that she’s Afric leaning in the third book.

Rowan Damisch

Young Dev Patel in Skins/Slumdog Millionaire

At first, I imagined him as an awkward white brunette boy. But eventually imagined Dev Patel, specifically him in Skins and Slumdog Millionaire for his boyish and lovestruck vibes.

Scythe Curie

Julianne Moore as President Coin (Mockingjay)

I live how the fandom collectively agrees that Coin is the spitting image of Scythe Curie, but with long hair.

Scythe Faraday

Rand Ridley (Inside Job)

IM SO SORRY EVERYONE, IK ITS BAD. i don’t exactly imagine this character as Faraday, i just have a hard time imagining Faraday. The closest to what I imagine is this character, but with a bushier beard and hooked nose.

Young Scythe Goddard

The Milkman (That’s Not My Neighbor)

The milkman’s uniform is how I imagined Goddard as a young man serving under Xenocrates in Mars and Earth. Plus, Goddard was borderline depressed. As for his adult version, I imagined him like a typical manhwa character with electric blue eyes, clean shaven, and with hip-length straight black hair.

Clemensia Dovecote (The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes)

As soon as I read the description of Scythe Rand, right away, I imagined Clemensia with her smirk.

Literally a perfect rendition.

I imagine him with Monoma’s appearance, but with Tartaglia’s (Genshin) height and cocky attitude.

Combination of Dr. Zara (Abominable) and Tulip (Storks)

Wild curly red/blonde hair, tall, green eyes, and prescription glasses.

Purity, Greyson’s unsavory gf: i imagined her like a hazbin hotel character since i rebuke her like i rebuke hazbin hotel. god, she was so annoying. im glad she died.

ships that i absolutely adore!

1. Chuck and Blair, Blair and Chuck

The most gut-wrenching couple ever. I know it’s a controversial ship because of Ep. 1, but I as like many others don’t acknowledge it as canon. I knew they were meant to be as soon as ‘Victor, Victrola’ happened. You see, this ship shipped so hard that it officially dethroned darklina for me. And honestly, after season 3, i skipped every scene that didn’t involve Chuck and Blair.

2. Darklina

This ship was so legendary, they’re practically the blueprint for the light and dark couples in YA literature. HAVE YOU SEEN THEIR FANFICS AND FANARTS? it litch have the best ones. Honestly, ms. bardugo fumbled w them, the whole fandom was rooting for darklina.

3. Levihan (Levi/Hange)

You’ll never understand the chokehold that levihan had on me during 2021. I even read MULTIPLE, FULL FANFICS (not oneshots, lmao i had to google that phrase, im truly loosing my roots here). I’ve never read any other full fanfics before or after them. To name a few, there was one where levi was homeless and pretended to be gay to be able to board with hange, or that one where levi crashed his car into hange and had to take her to the hospital. OH YEAH, i just noticed, they are also the only fanfics i read with non-canon divergence.

4. Hophie (Hort/Sophie)

im not as crazy abt it now tho, but i used to be obsessed with them. i liked that he only had a soft spot for her (actually, most of these ships are lmao) and she was always abusing that. but ig soman chainani’s creepiness put me off of it.

5. Shun and Ummi

honestly, From Upon Poppy Hill is the only romance as the main plot movie that i like because of the romance. loved how the felt accurate for middle schoolers in love, teehee.

6. Sychorax and Encanzo

holyyy, this fandom is so small. they are the most unique (?) middle grade couple. proud to say that i foresaw their romance in book one when there were no hints of it. honestly, they are peak middle grade romance.

7. Rowan and Citra

honestly, it’s probably recency bias that they made it up on this list because i was never as obsessed w them as i did w the other ships on this list. but they did have top notch romance, esp on the first book.

HM: Shinogiyuu (demon slayer, not much evidence), Lovie (MCU, semi-canon? since i haven’t watched the second season, they did kiss tho), focalette/neuvifuri (genshin, implied as canon, probs the most close to canon ship between playable characters ), scaramona (genshin, next to no evidence, srry scaramona nation, but they were the reason i got into genshin)
