I think I might be an endogenic system. Maybe a traumaendogenic system, but I’m not sure. I’ve actually been questioning this for a while, but I’m not sure if I’m faking it or not, I usually have issues with faking certain things so much to the point where I convince myself I have it. But I do know that I have trauma, and I do know that I dissociated a lot as a child as a way to escape.

I don’t have anyone else to bring this up to, so I’m a bit worried. I’ve made contact with some headmates, but again, I feel like I’m faking it. From what I can remember, I’ve been having headmates since I was 9 maybe? Possibly later, but my mind is constantly blanking out things. Matter of fact, I blank out so much that I can’t even remember my trauma that well. Maybe I’m just plural, but I’ll still ask either way.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

My identity confuses me sometimes.

Physically, I am an animal. Physically, I am not human at all. I could look at myself in the mirror for as long as I want and still believe that I’m not human.

On the other paw, however, I had past lives. I was a fox, caught by a hunter. I was a sea wolf, stuck in a storm and failed to escape the water. I was many things, but I don’t look like that anymore.

Somehow, at the end of the day, I’m still physically a nonhuman. I had past lives, sure, but it’s like I’m still an animal after all of that. Despite not being in those lives anymore, I’m still all those things. I’m still an animal, I’m still physically, mentally, spiritually an animal.

Does anyone else experience this? I feel like I’m going insane trying to figure it out by myself.
