Lee Elders
This film documents Bill Herrmann's account of a daylight UFO encounter and subsequent abduction that occurred in 1978. Herrmann claimed to have witnessed a large, metallic craft hovering in the sky and was able to capture photographic and film evidence of the object. He then reported being taken aboard the UFO and subjected to various medical examinations and procedures by the alien beings. Wendelle Stevens, a prominent figure in the UFO research community, served as the principal investigator, collecting a significant amount of evidence and documentation to corroborate Herrmann's extraordinary claims. This included analysis of the photographic and video footage, as well as interviews with Herrmann and other witnesses. In addition to the factual details of the incident presented in the film, the book "UFO Contact from Reticulum" co-authored by Wendelle Stevens and Herrmann also delves into the personal impact on Herrmann, as well as the broader societal taboo and stigma surrounding the topic of alien abductions, shedding light on the complex and often controversial world of alien abductions.

Mutual UFO Network (MUFON)
Budd Hopkins was an American artist known for his abstract expressionist paintings and sculptures. In the 1970s, Hopkins shifted his focus to investigating reports of alien abductions, becoming a prominent figure in the field of ufology. He published several influential books on the topic which helped launch the "alien abduction" movement as a subgenre of UFO studies. He remained dedicated to researching and raising awareness about alien abductions until his death. The physical marks on abductees' bodies and the supporting witness testimony were key pieces of evidence that Hopkins believed strongly supported the reality of alien abduction experiences, even if the full meaning and implications remained unclear.

This documentary explores the mysterious phenomenon of crop circles. It examines the various theories and claims around the origins of these intricate patterns that appear in fields. The film presents, among other formations, crop circles from 2008. In that year notable formations appeared in a field adjacent to Avebury Manor, a National Trust property in Avebury and in a barley field near Barbury Castle, an Iron Age hill fort in Wiltshire, UK.

Michael Hesemann
This documentary film features interviews and footage related to the early UFO "contactee" movement in the 1950s. It focuses on the claims and experiences of George Adamski, one of the most prominent figures in that field at the time and one of the first people to claim extended, friendly encounters with extraterrestrial beings, including a man from Venus named Orthon. Howard Menger is another central figure in the early contactee phenomenon who claimed to have had numerous encounters and interactions with extraterrestrial beings. Menger stated that the extraterrestrials he encountered were native to Venus. However, later in his life, Menger acknowledged that he may have misunderstood the origins of these beings, and stated that they may have actually had bases on Venus rather than being native Venusians. Both Adamski and Menger asserted that these beings were part of the Galactic Federation. Their accounts of meeting and interacting with these Venusian and other extraterrestrial representatives of the Galactic Federation were central to their contactee narratives. They believed the Galactic Federation was working to guide and assist human civilization, often through direct contact with selected individuals like themselves.

Bob Dawson
This documentary, directed by Bob Dawson, explores the mysterious interstellar radio signal that was detected by Ohio radio astronomers on August 15, 1977 and details the history of the search for extraterrestrial life after World War II and the development of the "Big Ear" radio telescope at Ohio State University that picked up the Wow Signal, an unusually strong, narrowband radio signal that seemed to originate from the constellation Sagittarius. It was detected by astronomer Jerry Ehman, who famously wrote "Wow!" in the margin of the computer printout, giving the signal its name. The documentary examines the ongoing debate around the Wow Signal and whether it was truly evidence of communication from an extraterrestrial civilization.

Loretta Lux
Loretta Lux is a German fine art photographer known for her surreal and dreamlike portraits of young children. She was born in 1969 in Dresden, East Germany and graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts in Munich in the 1990s. Lux's photographs feature young children in staged, constructed scenes, often set against vast landscapes or empty spaces to depict a sense of alienation. She combines photography, painting, and digital manipulation to create her unique portraits, which she describes as "imaginary portraits, dealing with the idea of childhood." Lux's work has been influenced by Old Master painters such as Bronzino, Velázquez, and Runge. Her portraits are not traditional portraits, but rather aim to allow the artist and viewer to "mirror themselves in the other and to reflect on their own existence." Lux's photographs have been exhibited widely and are held in the collections of major museums such as the Museum of Modern Art, Guggenheim Museum, and Art Institute of Chicago. She has received awards including the 2005 Infinity Award for Art from the International Center of Photography.
