Afterlife Journal 2.

Melty's gone now. I took too long to finish my first journal, and it ended up making me sound like a liar. Which isn't wrong, but I don't want to lie about this.

A while after finishing my previous journal I saw Melty. It wasn't Melty, though. It couldn't have been them. Hir eyes were too empty for it to be true. It had to be someone else, it couldn't have been my Melty.

Even after he's revived, the parasite still remains. It's haunting me, attacking me, I need to keep fighting it.

I know Melty is probably gone now, but maybe if I try hard enough, if I just fight it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over maybe it'll die for good. Maybe I'll get the only person I can rationally miss back.

I miss hir a lot. It's really inconvenient, because shi isn't here anymore. What can you do? Grief is a bitch.

I don't have much faith in the people back there to help them. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think I am.

At least the parasite still has their familiar face.

Afterlife Journal 1.

Well, I’m dead. I’ve been dead for a while, to be honest. I just never did much. I’ve heard that the afterlife causes memory loss and all that, so the first thing I did when I got here is write down everything I could remember. 

I’m glad to be dead. All that I’ve been keeping a secret came out and I got to see their delightful reactions. I don’t feel guilty, I knew from the start I wouldn’t. Except for him. But I can’t really worry about that now. What’s done is done, isn’t it?

I haven’t seen anyone, maybe that’s for the better. I don’t want to see them. Their happy faces and trusting expressions always disgusted me. Maybe it’s because I knew I wasn’t trustworthy but anytime someone said they trusted me I wanted to laugh. I gave them no reason to.

I’m really glad to have in some way caused the downfall of the two big teams. It’s nice seeing everything fall apart and know that it probably wouldn’t have happened without you.

Their feelings, their shock, it was all extremely entertaining. Was. I don’t care anymore for this useless server. Squid hates me, I don’t know what’s happening with Melty, what’s the point?
