What sort of cartoonish villain scheming is this?? YJS could’ve just let Ildo kill his own kid again (for the THIRD time—that we know of) but he wanted to be messy

At least ONE theory turned out to be correct, thank god!
I assume Ildo first thought Seonghyeon was his child and killed him after seeing the paternity test? If that’s true, he’s so stupid
But that mad glimmer in PHS’s eyes at the end? Cinema!
#buried hearts#ep 12#kdrama#why can’t this family have a funky good time as they say#let the old man enjoy his drama

How do they make every dramatic moment ridiculous in this show? I’d say ‘imagine this out of context,’ but the context doesn’t help much either

I went on Spotify to look up the My Dearest Nemesis OSTs and I’m laughing so much at these titles

Your pendant is pretty!
I also thought the jewellery was sponsored but I didn’t see any brand names so I’m not sure.
I think the necklace itself is pretty (it’s simple enough that you can’t really find fault with it) but the meaning feels a bit lost. I mean, the padlock is all over the show’s intro, it would’ve been cool to see them play around with that idea once more
@freshlyprinted is right with the necklace not being good... It does look very plain and I would've preferred it too if it looked like an updated padlock and key. I have a diamond pendant that would've fit it well. but I'm sure that necklace that they showed was like sponsored or something.

I know grandma is family, no matter how bad she is, etc. etc. I just wish they’d at least built an arc for her, this last-minute redemption is ridiculous

I wish he’d actually offered her the padlock and key necklace again, if not the original one, then a new, better-looking version. It would’ve been cool if she’d accepted it this time

I’m so traumatised by kdramas, I was expecting the truck of doom or something at this moment

This was hilarious!! Sujeong is having war flashbacks and Juyeon looks so offended

I thought they’d bring back the original gaming group to reminisce or something but instead they turned their team-building karaoke into this

You know what, I’m glad he wasn’t ‘found out’ and publicly embarrassed, and instead, he told everyone himself that he likes cartoons

Blackmailed his annoying grandma, our boy is all grown up :’)
I cheered so much for Juyeon’s jobless era, but this is funnier. Let the chaebols have a chaebol-off

Do I understand what's happening in Buried Hearts? No, not really
Do I care? No, the whole point of the show is that Park Hyung-sik is beautiful and suffering or beautiful and pissed off. The plot is irrelevant

There was also this scene where the Administrator says he knows Dongju’s father, and in the very next scene we see Ildo

Okay, so I don't think that Dong-ju was accidentally dating his (half) sister. Eun-nam's father hesitates before picking him up. Yeom Jang-sun also said that Dong-ju was Il-do's child, so I'm guessing that he's Il-do's son from his first marriage and should have died in a car accident so that Il-do could marry Eun-nam's mom
But we'll find out next week!

I’m convinced it’s a misdirection! But honestly, the messier it gets, the better haha
So they’re going for the past connection trope. I guess it’s the accident that killed Eunnam’s dad, and Eunnam and Dongju were both there with him.

If Dongju is Secretary Gong’s son, then it explains why Eunnam’s mother and the secretary seem close—they both lost someone in the accident.
I was kind of hoping for something more juicy.
But I guess we must obey the trope gods.
Truck of doom✅
Past connection✅
Now he must have both his memories as Seo Dongju and Seong Hyeon, right?
