Aces in tarot are all about new beginnings, so the idea behind each of these was that seeing something ordinary in the right circumstances can turn it into something extraordinary! With these cards, we really wanted to push the visual of the real mixing with human imagination, so I tapped into my wildlife painting powers while M rendered the "mythic" elements of each card.

First up is air, where a sighting of what was probably a simple owl leads to a tale of a mysterious cryptid!

Hello! This might be a stupid question, but I just found your blog from an adorable vulpix post, and it said there was a speedpaint? Where can I find the speedpaint? I'd love to watch how the painting was made ^^

I promise, there's no such thing as a stupid question, at least not around here. <3 Sadly, all the older speedpaints made before Azumarill were made way back before clip studio had a built in recording feature, so I don't have any recordings of those ones. :( But almost every speedpaint after that is thankfully recorded (except for Xerneas where I forgot to select the option like a dingus) Here's a process video for Articuno who took a little over two hours to paint from start to finish!
