He still has feelings for me and while we promised to stay friends, idk if he can do it. I try to reach out and every single time he finds an opportunity to make some out of left field comment or question about what's wrong with him. I don't even know what to respond with anymore and it's so frustrating.

He spent all that time hearing me trying to communicate with him and never made a change. He even acknowledged that I was unhappy and that breaking up would be a good idea. And then more than half a year after he's still hitting me with "Are you happy? Have you been happy since we ended things? I haven't- I'm not." Its like walking though a minefield anytime I want to catch up like we used to- like we promised to.

Anyways, I'm about ten months single and I haven't been this happy with myself and my own skin since before I can remember. Genuinely enjoying life and going out to do stuff, hang out with friends, and go to functions. I'm not letting people hold me back because they can't stand to have fun that isn't sex and I'm surrounding myself with friends who genuinely want to hang out.

Here's hoping I can spend at least two years focusing on myself like this, because at this rate I'll come out of it unstoppable!

Dinner

Had a dinner with both our families meeting. It was nice! Next weekend marks our 10 month!!!

I couldn't be happier. He worries about me and cares so much. We both just love each other a lot.

I was at an appointment and he thought that when i said i was going into the (Town name) building that i meant a tornado shelter. Hhhh i came out of my appointment to this and cried in the car because i love him so much

This morning I looked awful. He kept saying how cute I am, so I told him how I looked and he said "ok then send a picture, you cant look worse than me" and he sent me a pic (he looked fricking adorable by the way)

Anyways so I sent him a picture of me all gross and tired from it being so early and my bedhead was really bad. He just said "Aaa you're so pretty."

Woke up this morning and got an "I love you💕" text

Laying in bed together in our own little world, looking into his eyes- I couldn't be happier.

He tells me he loves me so much and I feel it too. I love him.

I have him over every week and we always end up wrapped around each other, being lazy in bed. It's perfect.

His Parents

So- here's the thing about our friendship; we met in middle school when he moved to my town and then I moved to another city at the end of that year to transfer schools.

Because of that, I didn't really meet his parents. I saw his mom briefly but that was it. We kept in contact after I moved and the frequency at which we would talk kinda varied. But last summer/spring, I picked up talking to him more and more and bing bang boom, here we are almost a year later.

Now, about the parents. They want to meet me. He's told them about me enough that they really want to meet me and boy oh boy am I terrified.

Last time we hung out, I properly introduced myself to his mom, but it was 30° and I was in shorts and sandals so I did not look the best.

I'm thinking of inviting his family to breakfast? Idk.

Valentine's Day

We spent Valentine's Day playing games with our friends who didnt have plans, then we talked all night long. It was- perfect.

We Went On An Actual Date

We went out for lunch at a local diner and bless him, he was really awkward since he doesn't eat out much. But the entire ride back to drop him off, we cuddled😊😊😊
