ok, I just came across this. Quinquennial doesn't just mean fifth, it means recurring every five years. That was definitely a choice.

So, if something were to reoccur that also happened 5 years ago, what did Taylor do in 2020 that stood out? Release two albums in one year and a documentary. Wouldn't say the double album drop is out of the question, but my money is on another film/documentary.

well on one hand, taylor nation saying “quinquennial” instead of simply saying “fifth” might just be them leaning into some very folklorian verbiage. but on the other hand, that word choice is particularly interesting considering it just so happens to be 12 letters long.

I remembered this skit yesterday when a clip from Travis' podcast popped into my insta feed where he's talking about how his life has become the plot of Pretty Woman but reversed, the female billionaire and pretty boy arm candy. Like, hello??! Swifties?? He's literally saying she's paying him... but then I remembered this SNL skit they did way back when they started 'dating' which was so much more obvious and even that they didn't clock. It's a bit. It's performance art. It's a movie now, are you not entertained??! (I'm still not but the skit was funny and I stand by that).

If any of this was real, Taylor would be setting her legal team on these people, or does anyone think Miss Taylor ‘I would die for you in secret’ Swift would allow anyone to take the piss out of her private dating life/budding relationship like this??? She is doing a bit and probably laughing along with all of this. I really wonder if this will somehow feature into a blank space video but even if not, it’s funny because it’s so cringey.

Do I wish she’d stayed ‘single’? Yes. But is this the funniest ‘beard’ situation she’s had since Hiddleswift? Absolutely! 😆🫣
