I’m considering coming back to this blog but remaking it for an older muse I recently got muse for again, Penny Polendina from RWBY since she was recently brought back to the show

OR I could just have her share a space with Sam, they’re similar characters in that they’re naive, friendly robot girls but they have drastically different growth and personalities so idk and in this case I would p much be starting over with Sam

I’d also be open to plotting pre established relationships in either case!! It’ll be fun! I’d love to see what you guys think

In order to test her cognitive and social abilities early in her development, Sam was activated for brief periods of time by the queen to interact with her.

Her memories of these interactions are very foggy, but she regards them with a lot of warmth and nostalgia. These brief interactions were usually cognitive tests, but at times the queen would have short conversations with her or simply tell her stories. These were usually about Kelby, and though she couldn’t recall what any of these stories were about, in Sam’s memories the queen always looked happy relating them to her.

There was, however, one thing that remained strong in her memory until the day she was fully activated. Every time the queen was about to put her back to sleep she’d sing her a lullaby which, apparently, she also sang to Kelby to put him back to sleep.

After the queen was gone and it was basically her taking care of the toddler prince the lullaby was the one thing that could, without fail, comfort him. It kept the memory of his mother alive within him, and within Sam.

Botica’s late queen was not only an important political figure, but also a brilliant scientist at the head of the kingdom’s research and development department. During her lifetime many important advancements for the good of Botica’s people were done, but the pet project nearest and dearest to her heart was the top secret S.A.M. program. Only she, the king and a small team of scientists to assist in its development were aware that it existed due to its taboo use of magic in creating a completely sentient android that was as close to a real human being as possible. This project was also meant to be a present for her newborn son, prince Kelby. There was nothing she wanted more than for him to always have someone to keep him company no matter what. Someone loyal to the bitter end. But that was all that she had intended with the project, magic had immense destructive properties, yes, but project S.A.M. was never meant to become any sort of weapon.

That changed the day she suddenly passed away.

King Bulgher changed the direction of the project, pushing the scientists to not only create a perfect companion for his son, but a protector. He was asking for a full fledged Cannon Buster.

It was a dangerous ask, those golems were incredibly hard to control and a single one could have the power to level a city on its own and who knows what one with free will and reasoning could do with such power, but the team had no choice. It turned out that project S.A.M.’s existing friendship programming was perfect to create checks and balances on her Cannon Buster programming. Tweaking it so she could only go into this mode when a person in her friend registry was in danger and programming for garbage data to overload her short term memory files so any memory of going into that mode is erased as soon as the danger is eliminated made it so she was completely safe and not a danger to the prince or the capital.

And so, at around prince Kelby’s second birthday, Sam was activated for the first time to officially meet her new best friend for life.

  Today was pizza day. Gar had some extra cash around his messy room and figured he had enough to spend for a couple of slices. Going on a Friday was even better since it was half off. He couldn’t wait to his favorite - pineapple pizza. 

   He got there waiting for the line, as it seemed crowded. The changeling let out a long sight to himself, annoyed of how long it was gonna take. But, was it worth it? You know it! It was only the best pizza in Jump City. 

   Just then, he felt a tap on his shoulder. Taking a look back, a strange yet cute girl said something kinda distressing. Was she actually in trouble? Who was following her? As much as he hated to get out of line, being a hero came first. What bad timing. 

      “ Whoa, You’re seriously being followed? Are they bad dudes? " 

   The changeling just needed a little more information. Robin had always told him to get the details before acting but it was a little nerve wrecking on who or what was coming after her. Where was he suppose to take her? 

   But, there was the only option at this point. 

     ” I know this is crazy. But, do you wanna follow me back to Titans Tower? It’s just up ahead. I’m Beast Boy, by the way. Hop on.“

   And with that, he morphed into a Pterodactyl and a waiting for the girl’s presence on his back to take to flight. Maybe it was risky taking a stranger back to his home but what choice did he have? She didn’t look like she was from around here at all. Being a hero was protecting the innocent and that’s what he had to do right now. Even if he was giving up some awesome pizza.

“ Well, technically speaking they shouldn’t be. A lot of things happened back home.<small> ”

A lot indeed, and though she would’ve loved to discuss the situation with her new acquaintance over some pizza herself, her pursuers could find her at any moment. Though she expected some for of help, she definitely didn’t expect him to turn into an extinct animal!

“ This is amazing! I never knew anyone could do something like this, it’s like something out of a fairy tale! ”

Eagerly and with a huge smile on her face she did exactly as she was told. Oh the stories she’d have for Kelby the day they were finally reunited!

“ But where are my manners? Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Sam! That stands for Special Associate Model, designed for friendship by the kingdom of Botica’s finest scientists. It’s a pleasure to meet you! ”

I’ve been thinking of adding a royal guard verse for Sam that’s years after they take back Botica and Kelby becomes king. She’d not only have control over her Cannon Buster functions but also trained in combat by 9ine and Odin. This is entirely because I want an excuse to draw her with a cool sword and armor.
