just thinking about little Mac and Charlie and how Mac will always be his Dayman, his champion of the sun and the fact that he described him as a “master of karate” even though he’s clearly not, but Charlie sees him that way “& friendship for everyone” because Mac has never been anything but a really amazing friend in his eyes and Mac might be an asshole sometimes but at the end of the day they’re just little guys who fiercely love and care for each other !!!

Can we talk about how close Ren and Willard get in such a short time? They're soulmates. Platonic or not, whatever you'd like to believe.

In the 2011 footloose whenever Ren, Willard, and the girls are dancing at the bar Willard gets real jealous when that random guy is all up on Rusty. And rightfully so, but bro doesn't even bat an eye AT ALL when Ren dances with Rusty, even with their faces so close.

He trusts Ren, and he just laughs at the action. Like?? If anyone else did that to his girlfriend, he would have at least said something, right? But that's the point.

He and Ren are close and become best friends because they get along so well. They get each other, and even after being friends for a short time, Willard trusts Ren enough and doesn't think twice about the action.

And that's just one instance in that movie where you just KNOW that they're close.

I don’t think there is a single day I don’t think about how Leo never got to see Jason after he came back to life. Jason died thinking his best friend was going to be in Elysium waiting for him. Jason walked through Elysium, his smile slowly fading as he started to realize maybe he wasn’t there. Jason wondering how on earth Leo didn’t get into Elysium. Leo had thought he’d found a way to fulfill the prophecy, but he was really just delaying one of their inevitable deaths. Leo spends every day filled with guilt because he was stupid enough to think he could solve this one problem, to think he could save Jason. They never got to say a true goodbye.

I've been obsessed with a certain ship lately....Thoughts on BingFan/MingBing? What do you think the dynamic would be? I think they're just so cute and has so much potential–it's rare to see good Bingfan fics! Understandable that it's not for everyone tho. But I feel like MF would be the type to one day realise that what he's doing to his shidi (the bullying and all) is wrong after so many yelling from NYY, but not exactly what cuz ya know–he's just some second or third son of some noble, but he just realised it out of nowhere that it's wrong. And like, decided to stop tormenting LBH so much. Guilt ridden, he decides to make up for it by giving LBH the stuff he needs at night. (So that Shizun or LBH doesn't know it was him giving help to the resident 'beast' of the peak.) Meanwhile, LBH is sleepily wondering why his usually mean shixiong is sneaking around late at night and dropping off medicines, food, blankets at the shed as if LBH didn't get woken up by the subtle sounds of his shixiong sneaking around–he's delighted, of course, he's just really confused too. Cue LBH eventually building some complicated feelings for his shixiong, while MF is here confused and irritated on why LBH keeps following him around and staring at him, even if he snaps at him or still picks on him now and then.

(MF is like that one boy from every girl's childhood who always picks on her cuz it turns out, the boy likes her, but just doesn't know how to handle the budding feelings and the insecurities that come from it: except MF thinks he's straight, and that's why he bullies LBH, but in reality, he's just jealous that both his crushes–NYY and LBH–are around each other and he feels a lil left out and wants to hang out with them too, but really doesn't know how.)

I think Bingfan is cute, tho I'm not that much of a fan of bullied/bully to lovers trope

Another bkdk Valentine's one shot - this one for the hurt/comfort prompt from day 4

This is all about the feels - nightmares lead to late night comfort, cuddles and talking. I made Izuku cry (I'm so sorry) but Kacchan's on it.

Summary:

Even years after the war, Izuku's dealing with some pretty rough nightmares. They came back recently, and they don't seem to be going anywhere. Izuku insists his fine - Katsuki's having none of that. Tear, comfort and emotional conversations ensue. This is more along the lines of emotional intimacy, and can be read platonically.

Excerpt:

Katsuki hears silence, then the soft padding of feet on the ground, behind the wooden door. Hesitance. Then, "Sorry. Nightmare." That's more than he’s got most other nights. "Do you want to talk about it?" "It's okay, Kacchan. Go back to sleep." Katsuki sighs quietly. They can't keep going like this. "Nerd, open the door." Izuku can't keep going like this. "It's okay, really." "No. It's not."

I just think Spencer was the quiet one in a group who’s comments used to go unheard and Tommy was the outgoing one that came in to his life and always reacted, even if it’s exasperation, and it boosted Spencer’s confidence. Cuz like show me one instance they’re in a video together and Tommy doesn’t react in some way to Spencer’s little side comments/jokes when everyone else ignores or doesn’t hear them. Like Tommy’s listening for it, even if they’re on opposite sides of the room and he’s mid convo with someone. And you can slowly see Spencer start to direct those comments to Tommy specifically through the years. Love that for them.
