Your F/O that has been through so much pain--the one that has been hurt/abandoned/betrayed in the past-- imagine finally giving them the affection and love that they have been missing. Imagine seeing the look in their eye the first time you press your hand gently to their cheek, the way they look uneasy at first before softening, leaning their face into the touch, unable to resist the comfort. Imagine holding them in your arms for the first time, the way you can feel them melt into you, a slight shake to their hands as they return it. Imagine reassuring them while you hug them that you'll never hurt them, and in response feeling them grip onto your shirt, as if silently unwilling to ever let you go.

That looks like a drink that little smug bitch would slurp but maybe instead of alcohol it's pink dish detergent soap that's pomogranted scented and he'd say some shit like "Yummers!"

i still think that sink is plural btw
sitting with him and gently talking him through my experiences and also the experiences of other systems i've known. asking him about himself, helping him realize "oh... me too!", getting to know Sinclaire AND Martin both learning about each one's quirks and preferences.
Sinclaire's still rather... jumpy and shy, but is more opinionated than Martin, he likes action movies and drama, and can't resist eavesdropping if he thinks he can get away with it.
Martin on the other hand, hates conflict, even in films, even kids' films, and it makes him anxious. He tries to ignore interpersonal issues and focus on work which he excels at, rather than social stuff.
I just... man. I wanna know what Sinclaire and Martin's deals are

so what makes the Hydra a rival on that chart?
*RUBS MY EVIL LITTLE HANDS TOGETHER AND SMILES SNEATLY*
So, in some tellings, such as according to Hesiod, Typhon is the son of Gaia and Tartarus - which, with both myth and the show confirming Typhon and Echidna are the Hydra's parents would mean that the Hydra is related to Hydros. (Though in other tellings Echidna is the daughter of Gaia and Tartarus -- so regardless of which is considered canon, the Hydra DOES retain at least one parent's connection to Gaia).
Technically relations may be similar to uncle, considering Typhon and Hydros would be half-siblings, so Hydros saw them once or twice in their very early years. They eventually reconnect after. events. Such as the pointy asshole falls out of the sky and the Hydra claws its way back to being alive. (good for them!)
It just so happens that the Hydra's much more wary around mortals ever since, after all underestimating a mortal had done them in last time! So, they're not exactly keen on meeting their uncle's new mortal partner, and them being the first one to realize that said mortal partner is being commissioned by the gods to paint their uncle's death is a REALLY bad sign to them.
Starting out they know they can't eat her, or their uncle Hydros would literally never forgive them, so they try to get Narine to fuck up the relationship/look bad in whatever way they can. (The heads all have different opinions on how to do so). Eventually it gets spilled, and things are tense, and they realize "ohhhh i kinda just ruined his happiness anyways. shit."
After all, the Hydra had wanted to do all that out of a very uninformed, slightly warped desire to protect him from danger after dying and then learning retroactively that the other titans had died too. If you could get a second chance, and you came back afraid, wouldn't you want to protect your family?
... in the end it turns out alright and there's a bit of a reconciliation but they're still a bit tense around mortals regardless. Some of the heads are still kind of... snappy but they don't actually bite her, some of them on the other hand will and do accept being petted.

If I can take the opportunity to get on my soapbox about Hydros for a hot second.
What do we as the viewer know? That the titans are brutes who were imprisoned for their violent nature and their actions.
Seems very cut and dry. They were bad.
But I present the following theory that they simply represent these things in the same way Ares represents war. Yes it’s their nature but it doesn’t make them inherently evil. It’s dirty work but someone must do it. We don’t get insight into their opinions or thought processes about this work, only that they fulfill their duties eagerly, perhaps over-eagerly, but that could simply be them enjoying contributing to the world. (Because even natural disasters contribute to the world in their own way.)
But Hades very clearly needs them to take Olympus, it’s part of the prophecy and likely he wouldn’t be able to do so without them, regardless of his (or their) thoughts and feelings about it. After all the movie is very specific about its prophecies. So, his first act upon freeing the titans is to assert himself as their benefactor for freeing them, and to position them against Zeus, by continuing to reassert that he’d been the one to imprison them, and to command them to action.
Note, the gospel truth attributes the imprisonment to Zeus, but very likely multiple gods were responsible — Hades focuses mostly on Zeus’s role because it is he who has problems with Zeus.
Objectively the titans were not “good” people at the beginning, but one could choose to look at the “Olympus is that way” part more seriously, and could interpret it as them attempting to flee in a less obvious way. There is the possibility the titans were aware that something was happening, and perhaps even wanted to flee and remain neutral in the conflict. Even the Lorcana card for Arges says so.
“Those are some big feelings, let’s stomp them out.” < roughly paraphrased
The end of the movie also distinctly shows they do experience emotions, especially negative emotions such as fear or distress. They flee the battle and each appear to be genuinely distressed and anxious as Hercules and Zeus gain the upper hand.
In conclusion he’s likely got something very wrong with him due to the combination of the (at least, but likely more than) 18 years of imprisonment, as well as the (temporary as it may be) death experienced at Hercules’s hands. Fear of repercussions is a reason he tries to hide, but he does often find himself externalizing his feelings. He’s often angry and blunt, short with those he feels have wronged him and difficult to understand to those who don’t know. And often he will have those periods where he’s very helpless to stop himself from being angry before he has to try and figure it out after the dust settles.
Going insane about kicked dog with rabies type characters
