Well, I’m back. I certainly haven’t missed being bullied by people who have naught better to do, but I have had a wonderful time out there. Sunning myself, taking my babies out for long days out, the sort. It’s been great but I suppose now it’s back to business here with you ingrates.

One thing that I have noticed is that my account seems to have been given the ‘Aron Award’ for making twenty five posts- in the middle of my stayaway. Well, obviously I hadn’t been posting; I would not wish to have any of you buffoons ruining my private time away. For how popular this miserable place supposedly is, you’d think that there’d be some level of quality to how it is run behind the scenes.

You need not show concern, your message shows far more kindness and respect than those of most wastrels on this site. As it stands, my hobbies beyond caring for my babies are rather typical. I enjoy fine art, garden tours, wine tastings, the occasional game of Pétanque, and meeting with peers to discuss the world as it stands. On a day where I feel most adventurous, I may find myself wandering through a Vivillon house; at the risk of sounding like a trainer I can admit that our most common regional insect is at least more fine looking than those of anywhere else.

I doubt that anything will ever occur to change my opinions on most dark types, and especially those illusionary street pests. I think that it is downright cruel to the decent human for them to be allowed to cause their chaos unchecked on the streets. And this is nothing to be said of the vile nature that wild members of the species can show. You are correct- we will always have very different views on Zorua.

That said, I can understand your concerns on ‘purebred’ Pokémon I suppose, to an extent. I can’t say that it doesn’t bring a chuckle to me, a specifically career-oriented shiny raiser preaching to the world about ethical breeding for ‘certain traits’, as you put it. I believe you know that I would never abandon my babies personally, and I spit on the shoes of any who would abandon an innocent ill Furfrou. I suppose in a show of good faith, I will try to keep your silly ideas in mind, and perhaps in future I may even consider raising a Furfrou that has… I apologise but I cannot being myself to take the idea to written word just yet. Until that point, I will continue as usual- short of the resurrection of the Mewtwo project I care little for the time being how they are keeping their breeding program pure. Just so long as they continue to do so.

You know I expect common dissuasions from the average dunce here, but I’m surprised to hear it from a shiny collector, of all people. Asinine as I typically find your people’s goals to often be, I do at least understand that you do what you do because, like us of the upper crust, you like to feel that you are socially above your peers, therefore better than them as we are, and you like to have something concrete that you may use to gloat. I have respect for that mindset, and though I may find their choices of Pokémon to be quite jejune, I respect my peers of class that use their own shiny Pokémon thus.

Needless to say, each of my babies has a life of indulgence beyond that of most of the average woods-camping battle-folk dreaming vainly of being their region’s next champion as though that would give them purpose. I ensure that every Furfrou I take into my manor has been checked thoroughly and that those I obtain them from have been thoroughly vetted. If I find a trace of potential mutt-hood in any Furfrou I purchase, or god forbid I find any signs of Ditto parentage in them, then I make thoroughly sure that whoever believed that they could try and hoodwink me will have no life to return to when they have finished with their sham of a workday.

Perhaps. As much as you, personally, vex me, I can at least acquiesce that of the individuals less close to aristocracy who should have Pokémon, you rank amongst the most highly to me. You do seem to run a legitimate, licensed enterprise, where the Pokémon you care for have the space they need to thrive. I cannot fault your business practises- merely your lacking personality.

I also have no understanding of your malice against purebred Furfrou. I have said before that I do my research and only obtain my babies from the best. Perhaps your judgement of financially well-off Furfrou owners is clouded by your judgement of financially well-off Purugly owners?

I don’t think this should remotely be a ‘hot take’ to any of you.

Pokémon deserve to have the space and the freedom that they should in the wild, or at the very last close to it. I make sure to take my babies to local expansive areas; castle grounds and the like; but even back at my home, they have our gated gardens to run about in, as well as the rest of the manor. If you cannot provide that for your ‘beloved friends’, if you must keep them in cramped containers (because even a luxury ball can only get so close to ‘luxury’ on its own), then reconsider- are you the sort of person who should even be thinking of taking care of another creature?

You have seen my posts enough to get the general air of the person that I am. Do you really believe that I, personally, would get my hands dirty with common, vulgar dealings such as violence and killings? I claim absolutely nothing except for the connections that I have to other people with money and power such as myself. All I know is that I have told more than one of my aristocratic associates about the happenings, merely as a show that despite their greatest efforts, the lowlife who glower at us may never truly be able to take us down, and that now the only show of the life of said lowlife and their employer is on the headlines of a long forgotten news article.

I make zero effort on the field of making myself ‘likeable’ to the rabble that seem rampant in this place. But were the safety of my babies not potentially at risk, there may almost be a sense of, would you call it schadenfreude perhaps, in that as soon as those here find somebody they dislike, their own looks shed like a Voltorb revealing itself, and they show themselves as the vicious mongrels that we at the top have always believed them to be.

What would you do if you got a furfrou, but then later (say, at least 6 months later), you found out it wasn't purebred, what would you do?

For the sake of this hypothetical, we're ignoring how you didn't find out for 6 months

A while ago, I was approached by a woman who claimed to be from a breeder I had used before. She approached me with what she claimed was a genuine young shiny Furfrou. Even at the time, I had my doubts; rich I may be but I am not as foolish as I am Eldegoss looking. Whatever I was looking at in that moment, it for certain was not a shiny Furfrou. But she bombarded me with what looked like entirely official documentation, from all bodies I would have required it from. She claimed that I would be allowed it for a meagre fee, on the condition that it was skittish, and that she would have to care for it for some time before the handover.

I was lucky that there was, at the time, a detective in the city that I could report my concerns to. I was almost expecting to be laughed off, but if nothing else I know Furfrou, and I knew that something was wrong. In just a few hours, the woman was being escorted away to Kalosian jail. It turned out that she was running a shill with a half-Furfrou, half-Houndoom from a mill she was a part of. Apparently, she had gone through specific grooming and bone-shearing to ensure that the Pokémon looked as close to a Furfrou as it could.

The Pokémon is safely in a foster home now, where from what I have heard, it has received surgeries to mitigate any damages done to it. Think of me what you like, but I make sure that my babies are cared for, present and former. And whilst I cannot claim any direct associations with any organisations, neither the woman nor the owner of the mill are with us any more. That I can give you a promise of.

I put vast amounts of effort into being proper and decent around the sort of individuals who deserve it. Believe me, I will find my people amongst the drivel of the commoners here. Barking indeed. Seeing how you all seem to act in this place towards us folk of class, perhaps it would be better if the majority of users of this site were indeed replaced with dog Pokémon. Furfrou would of course be my first choice, but I would be equally content if you were all to be replaced with Slurpuff. At least then you’d provide us of fine society with the pleasant scent of patisserie, if nothing else.
