Hello and welcome to the Pruaus Advent Calendar Event!

This event is based on the tradition of Advent Calendars. Every day from December 1st until December 24th one piece of fanwork will be published.

How it works:

You send in a message until October 16th (later applications will still be possible but please keep in mind that some organisation will be necessary as well as time to create the content). Then it will be decided, depending on the number of participants, whether everyone will provide multiple fills or just one (so that there will be gap-days or days with only drabbles).

Prompts will be given in order to avoid too much doubling and just the same stuff over and over again. However there is no prompt-list just yet so please feel free to send prompts! You can also “volunteer” for prompts i.e. claiming a prompt you’re giving yourself (and date, if you’d like a specific one ) should you already have an idea or even already something written.

WHAT IS PRUAUS WEEK? PruAus week is a celebration of our favourite pairing, Prussia & Austria from Hetalia. It will run from October 1st - October 7th, 2016. We will provide daily prompts during the specified week, all of which are available to look at ahead of time, here. Anyone who wants to participate can publish PruAus fanworks during (or around) that week, using our tag #pruausweek2016, and we will reblog them! The goal is to boost fanworks for our favourite pairing, spark fan creativity and create an archive full of love for PruAus.

Set during- and after- the Battle of Paris at the end of the Napoleonic Wars, wherein Austria, Russia and Prussia put their differences aside for five minutes to kick France in the teeth. Victory is a powerful aphrodisiac; one battle leads to another.

Unfortunately, due to sudden unfortunate life changes that are really limiting the amount of time I can spend on fandom fun, I decided that I can no longer dedicate the time to managing this fest and keeping track of participants. I discussed things over with my co-mod, and we decided that as she is also busy, it’d be unfair to expect her to shoulder the responsibility of modding alone, as of such, the fest has to forcibly end and backup fillers will not be assigned. 

That does not mean all hope is lost however, we will still be reblogging and posting straggling submissions as we get them, so if you are very late and wish to free your conscience, definitely finish up and post and we’ll wave you through! Otherwise, if you are burning with curiosity to know who you were assigned to, we decided to reveal who had who, so if you’d like to know, please send us an unanon message, and we'll give you the deets.

That said, we sincerely apologize for being the worst mods in the world, haha. We’d also like to sincerely thank you all for signing up and participating, and hope those of you who haven’t posted your fill, find some way to get it done as to not disappoint your fellow fan!

For @englaaand for fryingpanfest The prompt was “Prussia singing off key to Austria’s piano playing” and well this happened I’m so sorry for this being late I completely forgot until Feb21 and then I got sick and had to get ready for a tournament in El Paso OTL there was also the fact that I haven’t drawn a single hetalia character in forever and I struggled trying to find a decent way to draw them lol. I really wanted to be able to scan this and clean it up but if I did Id be over a week late OTL I hope you like this!

Her troops are wounded, the fort they’ve managed to secure is all but lost, and she’s really the only defense they have at the moment. Since the prompt was quite open, I got the idea to draw them at the 1873 Vienna World Fair. Japonism and Orientalism were the main draws at this time. I tried to make things fairly historically accurate, but if you have any comments about it, please let me know!
