day 41 - we're so back

Finally have some more Prime episodes under my belt and like yeah! This is fun!

This gaggles of chucklefucks are the friend group ever, they really do feel like a pack of adventurers that just happened to start traveling together, with how they talk, how they all have different views on things and stuff its very fun! And I’m not even done with the first arc i think?

The read i have on the characters is

Vandrys: full of heart dumb of ass, i love how each time they encounter a door he’s just resigned to be trap fodder, at this point i think he enjoys at least having a special thing the group trusts him on. Also i can see that hes a messy bitch from a mile away, good god.

Rodek: father of 8 which is concerning given that (excluding him) its a party of 4. Hes very very cautious to the point were its a little concerning but if i travelled with these people i would be so too, also RAMBY HI RAMBY HI.

Anulin: enabler, she just gives me that energy, i love myself a kelsey PC and i want to learn and see more of her! The audio stuff is still fucking me up and she talks so low!! Get closer to the mic please!!

Sylvie: very smart prefers to be whimsical, the moment that girl went “oh so hes a vampire” i just knee she had it in her, oh sylvie i love your childish whimsy and penchant for adulterated violence. Each time she gets a little irked and just goes “lisen up BITCH” i smile, you go girl.

Ganji: also very smart but prefers to be a bitch, hes my fave so far, i love how he enables sylvie, how each time the gang gets up to some insane shit he just looks the other way, when Rodek started lying at the circus and he went “id give you guidance but lying is a sin” i just knew i would love this guy.

ORPHEUS??: yeaaahhh, i want to put that guy in a blender, “evening do gooders”?? Oh, youre one of those arent you? 💅 im sure he can get a lot more intimidating but hes such a joke of a villian in all the good ways. Hes so cartoonish about it to the point i want to punt him.

Rating fanfic real estate in avantris.

Inn at the End of the Road- a classic for a reason. Its very cute. You can transport it. Great place for cute friends and family moments as well as fucking. 9/10.

Carnivale Lecroux- as in the caravans ig. I like reading how people imagine them. Also cute and small! Tbh only for pre canon. 7/10

The house the icebound gang got- we didnt really get too much of a description of the interior. And honestly i havent encountered a fic set inside of the house. Its too warm to be icebound sexy. Not cold and scary enough. 3/10

The More Abound- yeah ships are sexy 9/10

Claytons Magical Mansion- hell yeah now we're talking. Room descriptions, a very specific vibe, a POOL, its transportable. Its hot. Id know. I wrote 2 fics in it. 10/10

Sylvies Magical Mansion- hell yeah. It also has a pool but we got an actual pool scene. Its cottagecore whimsygoth its everything. It has an alchemy room and all bdw girlies what that means. 10/10

Chateau Sylvie- sexy dungeon? Check. Ocean view? Check. Pool? Check. Pets? Check. It really has everything. Even sentimental value at this point. 10/10

The Mogra'kai tiny houses- again i havent seen a single fic that happened there. But thats when the party was at its horniest and im surprised no one exploited that. Someone should. Cool location but stressful times. 5/10

Iris' temple- that is a place of worship no sex there. However. Pool.

The Crooked House- 😬 1/10

Chateau Clair de Lune- not a lot of privacy tbh! Also stressful! The eom party cant catch a break fr 5/10

I think in bluebirdAU Felix and Iris would have a very nice dynamic.

Like in the og they dont get along at the start, though Felix isnt running from the military all the stories he’s heard of chorovachia/eryos/barovia and just stryga in general make him quite nervous. Hes not as nervous as original Felix but equally if not more distrustful, so Iris and him butt heads more than once in the early days.

However I think they would find solace is finding another person of the cloth, a priestess and a devout, sometimes in the morning that Iris wakes up to pray to Anubis Felix joins her, bowing in silence at a small lantern. They understand each other in matters of what has brought them here and it adds a layer of respect they keep to each other though its never outwardly spoken.

When they meet the actual cult (the garden) in Eryos Felix is a bit ruffled, he knows that Sarnax deeply doubted the ideas the cult had made, that he disliked what the garden had made of the teachings of Gherix and that it was the reason he did not return to Stryga. Iris is the one to understand his troubles with working alongside the cult despite following the same patron.

Later in the Ha’rkir (is that how its written?) arc Felix understands Iris’ troubles with Anubis, she still loves him, follows him, does not doubt him, but feels her faith troubled againts the hardships her god has inflicted upon her. Felix sees some of Sarnax on her, sees some of Shepherd too, how their souls were bound to encounter barovia one way or the other because the gods had it in mind.

Still, in the morning, though Iris does not plan to pray, she still sits by Felix’s side as he does. It has become habit.
