This blog is dedicated to a piemaker with a magic touch, a once-dead-but-now-alive-again girl who loves the piemaker very much, a manly Private detective with a passion to knit, a jocky turned waitress turned Jr. PI with quite the wit, two agoraphobic aunts who were pro synchronized swimmers, and a lovable golden retriever whose coat you could say glimmers. A group of soul-collecting grim reapers: one was 18 when killed by a flaming toilet seat, the leader who hands out posted-notes, an actress burned in Gone With the Wind's heat, the leg warmers' inventor killed by jealousy, and a druggie who drilled his head for a high. A family grieving with their daughters' death, and a woman known by her big brown eyes. A store clerk and Brown grad named Jaye whom inanimate objects give their plan; a man who was in town for his Honeymoon but stayed after walking in on wife and bell man; Jaye's quirky yet perfect family Darrin, Karen, Sharon, & Aaron their names; and a best friend that's a waitress the role of anchor she claims. And lastly to Bryan Fuller the man who created it all; without him we wouldn't have Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me, or Wonderfalls. Almost everything is queued. Hey! I got some more info for you. Do you remember the Gretchen Speck character in wonderfalls? The girl Jaye helped with the 6 and a half year high school reunion... Well, the facts are these: on imdb that same actress is credited in a episode of "Hannibal" where she's playing a character that goes by the name of. one. Gretchen. fucking. Speck-Horowitz. Cowinky-dink??... I think NOT! I hope that her character and Carolines character hate each other is hannibal too, that would be too perfect! :)
Yeah! I saw that about a week or two ago!! That's gonna be so entertaining to watch! I agree, I really hope Caroline's character is resentful towards her. I feel like they have too, it would be too awesome of an opportunity to miss

What did you think about Mockingbird Lane? Haven't watched it yet.
It was very dark and quirky. Sound familiar? Haha, it was about the same darkness level of Dead Like Me, probably a little more. I'm a sucker for great dark humor. It had about the same quirkiness as Pushing Daisies and Wonderfalls. It was kinda like a Bryan Fuller explosion. Since it was technically the pilot, overall it was okay. Most shows don't have that great of a pilot, and I think Mockingbird Lane was definitely better than many I've seen. If NBC does decide to turn it into a show, though the odds are supposedly slim, I'm certain that it will be great. I may be a little biased, but the pilot did a really good job of setting up future plot lines. By the end of the hour, I could see many different ways the next episodes could go, which is something every decent pilot should have. The pilot felt a little ADD, but that is something that can be easily fixed if there are any future episodes. So I guess I'm trying to say that the show has great potential (... that sounded lame).
Personally, it is hard for me right now to determine how I like it in comparison to Fuller's other work, since it is unknown whether the series will continue or not.

I am a little bummed that the odds of this becoming a show are slim, but hopefully the ratings for the pilot will be high!
