Do you know the location of the first Yes album cover (US version)?
I unfortunately don’t know the specifics of the location, but I do know they were in London. Someone else may know more than me though.

If you start “Close to the Edge” by Yes at 11:47 and 49.8 seconds PM on New Year’s Eve, Rick’s church organ during the “I Get Up, I Get Down” movement will ring in right as the clock strikes midnight. Start your new year right.

Welcome to the Steve Howe blog!
Fuckyeahstevehowe is officially up and running! It will take me some time to get some posts going, but I hope to have that all settled very soon!
In case you haven’t seen the description, this blog is the spiritual successor of @fuckyeahyesband. If you don’t know me from my previous blog, my name is Krista (see @moogotron for my personal) and I have been a big fan of both the band Yes and Steve Howe in general for a good few years now. Here on this blog, I will be posting mostly Steve Howe-related content as well as content related to other musicians Steve Howe has worked with before, Steve’s current and past projects, and more.
I hope you’ll all be patient with me while I get the gears turning a little quicker on this blog and if you have any questions/comments/suggestions, don’t be shy. Send me an ask!

The future of this blog…
After mulling it over for a while, I have decided to retire this Yes blog.
It is not fair for me to run a blog about an entire band when the majority of my posts focus on one member. So, I have decided that this blog remain as an archive of previous posts I’ve made. I may take it up again at some point, but as of now, will will remain inactive.
But to take its place, I’ve created a new blog centered mostly around Steve Howe so I can have the liberty of making as many Steve Howe posts as I want without the worry of being unfair. I will likely post content of other Yes members and Yes themselves there whenever I find new content, but the blog itself will still remain a Steve Howe blog first and foremost. I suppose it’ll be kind of reminiscent of how the Yes blog is already. If you’d like, feel free to follow my new Steve Howe blog at fuckyeahstevehowe which I will hopefully have up and running by this weekend.
I cannot tell you all how much I’ve enjoyed these past few years running this blog. I had never imagined when I started this blog that people would come to see this blog as the definitive Yes Blog in a way. I don’t really feel like I deserve it. I have made so many friends through this blog—friends that are beyond important to me and are an essential part of my life. I still love Yes just as much as I did the day I started this blog.
Thank you all for sticking around. I hope the Steve Howe blog will be a fresh new start.

I’ll be honest, at this point, I’m not so sure about running the Yes blog anymore. I don’t run it nearly as often as I used to and I definitely show way too much of a bias towards Steve Howe to call it much of a Yes Blog. I’m undecided if I want to just keep the blog up as some kind of archive or find a worthy candidate to take over that will be a little more even and fair when it comes to making posts about other equally-important Yes members. I’m not sure when I’ll come to this decision, but I will welcome some feedback if anyone has any!
On the other hand, I’m considering making a blog that’s entirely Steve Howe-related since I think that’ll be a lot easier for me to run without feeling guilty about being unfair. If anyone had any questions or suggestions, feel free to reply to this post or send in an ask!
