ways to dispel gay rumors, according to louis tomlinson and harry styles:

1. write a love song, and include the place where you and your enemy lived together.

2. constantly walk away from your at the time girlfriend of nine years.

3. struggle to hold hands with and kiss your at the time girlfriend of several years.

4. repeatedly say ‘no’ when asked if you and your girlfriend are engaged.

5. but do say, ‘it’s confidential, but we’re already engaged,’ when asked when you are gonna propose to your best mate.

6. say you have a crush on your best mate, and that you’ve discussed it and say that it’s mutual.

7. when asked if the rumor is true, smile fondly and say yes.

8. when your best mate is talking about finding someone they would want to date, cough really obviously and loudly.

I wonder if the reason he did a premiere of AOTV in Asia was to try and boost ticket sales if that was the case??? And now maybe it’s too late to reschedule to new venues? I don’t pretend to know the intricacies of the business of touring - but I really hope it’s this and not anything personal. ❤️

Hi darling. You could be right about the Tokyo premiere. I don’t know what, if anything, they did to promote the tour (or the film) beyond the fandom, though. That would seem to be a main problem behind low ticket sales if that’s the reason for the cancellation.

I heard that the venues he was playing in Asia were already the smallest, although I don’t know how to check the veracity of that statement. But even if they weren’t, switching venues is probably a lot more complex than we’d think. I would imagine planning a tour is super complicated — there are so many moving parts.

Whatever the reasons, it’s super sad and I feel terrible for Louis. I hope it’s just low sales and nothing worse.

I feel I need to put this into the world in some capacity to get it out of my head. I also feel that I have the same mindset when it comes to H&L's relationship that you do. That it is real life. That it is messy. That they are not perfect. I think they were together and still are in some way, but when they can't be, they have other partners, and I think their partners know what their role is for the time being. (I am not sure if you are of this mindset). This theory is the one that brings me peace and is the way I can reconcile what we see. L had his bro/lads tour last year when he wasn't single and seemed to have a great experience with the band and his crew. Now he is single - enter S. I can see that he would want some companionship during this tour who isn't just a friend. Someone he can smoke, drink and hang out with who isn't one of the lads. I expect to see her on the North American leg of his tour and maybe more. H, on the other hand, I am not quite sure. I don't think he will have a partner that we will see at his shows, as we have been there, done that. I think there will be some stories and some pics, but mostly just him enjoying the tour. I think they make time for each other when they can, and in the end, my hope is that they end up together when the timing is right for them both. But as you say, we really have no idea. Would love to hear your thoughts....

Broadly, I agree with you. To be clear… I don’t necessarily think there’s a romantic relationship between H/L and their public girlfriends, but I also don’t think it’s an impossibility and I don’t understand why people treat it as such. It’s whatever to me. 🤷‍♀️

I’m undecided about Sophie. We haven’t seen much of them together recently. (Except one Instagram story that seemed like it was hinting at being with Louis? But I thought Louis was in the UK at that time so idk.) I feel like that could go either way and we’ll just have to wait and see.
