Sanyu, unfortunately, doesn't remember anything from her childhood, save her parents and how they abused and treated her horribly. Other than that, she doesn't remember anything from her days as a youth. This is mainly due to the fact that she was experimented on by Chuohku, which not only changed her sex and increased her strength to non-human levels, but also wiped out memories of her time before she was used as a lab rat. And the sad thing is, whenever she tries hard to remember her past, the only thing that she gets out of it is a horrible nosebleed and a nasty headache.

...But it's funny: why can she only remember how horrible her parents were and nothing else?

Tasuku is the best liar out of the trio. The sad thing is, he kinda has to be. As a casino worker and an accomplished gambler, his whole deal is to deceive and fool his opponents and players, so lying is something he has to be good at. What's more, like Gentaro, it's hard to tell if what Tasuku is saying is truthful or not, at times. He's not an extravagant liar, but he'll sometimes mix lies in with truth, either to throw a person off, or because, as he says, 'it's practice.'

He wasn't always an accomplished liar; it was something that he learned to do while living with his evil stepmother. It's sad that the only thing he picked up from her is how to lie.

Tasuku doesn't show that he is lying often. Only those close to him, like Sanyu and Ming, can pick up when he isn't being truthful. The easiest way to know when this guy is lying is simply to watch his eye. Most people tend to blink, at least, five times per minute, and Tasuku is no exception. When he's lying, he'll stop blinking and maintain eye contact, either with the person he's talking to, or with something else. He doesn't do this during his job since he knows how to control and because he feels nothing for people he's taking money from. But to his friends and family, he can't control his eye movements.

Ming is neutral when it comes to Valentine's Day. She doesn't hate it, but she doesn't love it either. She knows the children at her schoolhouse love it, so she cuts school time in half and lets them pass out candies and valentines to each other. She finds it cute, but also silly that people go out of their ways to display feelings of love towards their partners.

"You don't need to express how much you mean to your partner. You just need to tell and show it. If they can't tell by your actions and words how much you mean to them, then they probably aren't right for you."

As for confessions, Ming hasn't been confessed to before, but she has confessed to someone. It was when she was six that she confessed to this boy that she really liked. Unfortunately, she made the mistake of doing it in front of her family home. When her stepmom saw her, she chased the boy off and threatened that if he came close to Ming again, he and her family would pay for her. He never approached Ming again for fear of that. Ming didn't speak to her stepmother for half a year because of that.

"Why does this guy look so familiar... oh yeah. He's that idol that's been appearing around Fukuoka, as of late. Aoi, I think his name is. Truthfully, I was never really into those type of people. "Mai? I think they're the only one from this team that I know. Ming once asked them to come to her school to teach her kids how to dance and what-not. They were pretty good, which was kind of ironic considering they seem so weak and tired. I met them when I came to pick up Ming from work, and she introduced us. ...I don't know what happened after that. We kinda just stared at each other for a while, examining each other. I get the feeling that, like their leader, there is more to this person than lets on. I get the feeling they may have been used by Chuohku like I was. If so, they have my sympathies..."

"The only other guy aside from the leader that I know next to nothing about. Apparently, he works as a... 'butler-for-hire'? I didn't think people here in Fukuoka could afford to have someone serve them... at least not in the slums where we live. Now over in the fancy part of town where Chuohku has their HQ, yeah, you may see one or two families that have a steward or something, but not many. You have to remember, Fukuoka, we're pretty much near the bottom when it comes to money and economy, so wealth doesn't exactly flow throughout this city."

He's the closest thing Fukuoka has to a top-notch celebrity, I guess. ...But then again, since we're all part of this rap tournament that's sponsored by Chuohku, we've all been in the limelight. So... if you stop and think about it, doesn't that all make us kind of celebrities too? If so, it sure doesn't feel like it. I mean, aside from rapping in front of all of Japan, nothing about our lives has really changed. We're still doing the same old stuff that we've been doing long before..."

"Bah! Sorry, I went off a tirade there. Bad habit of mine. Anyway, this guy is sort of a bigshot here, but... you know, as good as he is, there are plenty of idols out there. He's just one face out of a billion others. ...Hey, sorry to say, but it's the truth."

"Like Sanyu mentioned, I met this person when she and I came to pick Ming up from work. Kind of a surprise for a person as weak and scrawny as them to be such a high-profile dancer. ...Or maybe, they've just been through some stuff and I should stop being so judgmental. Ming even mentioned that they haven't had an easy life too. ...Maybe that's why I caught Sanyu and them staring at each other, as if they knew what the other one had gone through. Kind of ironic that people in pain always seem to be able to find and commune with one another..."

"Sanyu was kinda surprised to see a real-life butler. Not much of a surprise since she wasn't born into nobility like Ming and I were. Me, once you've seen one servant, you've seen them all. And truthfully, I didn't care much for the ones in my household. I didn't like forcing or commanding them to do anything that I couldn't do myself. My stepmom would say that that was what they were there for, but I didn't view it like that. I know they were just doing their jobs, but I hated relying on others to do things for me. That's kinda how I still am, to be honest."

"I don't really know much about Eko-san, other than the fact that's he an idol. He hosts several concerts a month here in Fukuoka, but his work often takes him across Japan. I couldn't stand traveling around that much. I like having a bit of stability in my life. That's partly the reason why I'm a teacher, and why I teach young kids. It doesn't require me to go anywhere save the schoolhouse and back."

"But aside from that, Eko-san is a popular person here. Like my brother mentioned, he's the closest thing that Fukuoka has to a superstar. Even some of the children here talk about how much they wish to be like him. I'll have to see if I can arrange a trip to take them to see one of his shows here."

Mai Yousei

"Mai-san is a very nice person! I caught them one day performing in front of a crowd in the city, and I asked them when they were over if they could come teach the kids at the schoolhouse how to dance. They all had a lot of fun learning from them! Some of them have asked when Mai-san would return, so I may have to speak with them again when they have time."

"Aside from that, Sanyu seems to think Mai-san's life has been easy. Truthfully, that wasn't easy to spot considering Mai-san's pale body. I can tell that they may have gone through some hardship like we all do. If so, I only hope that things go better for them."

"Like my brother mentioned, seeing another butler isn't all that surprising, though it is a bit of a shock considering the city we live. Like him, I didn't rely too much on the servants in my household when I lived with my dad and stepmom. I mean, I know their job is to make life easier, but if it was something I could easily do myself, why should I waste their time with it? I don't know if God or whoever exists, but if so, He blessed me with good limbs and a body, so why shouldn't I utilize it? ...I wish my stepmom understood that. She seemed to revel in forcing others to do whatever she wanted."

"But besides that, I don't know much about Yuno-san. He seems courteous and polite, but... I've noticed he's a bit of a slow learner. I wonder if he'd be insulted if I asked him to attend my schoolhouse. I know it's centered around children, but I think he'd enjoy it."

I don't know why Chuohku is adding another Fukuoka team when they went to all of the trouble of forcing us into it. Miho had to admit, she was surprised upon who she had gotten for this whole Secret Santa event she and many others were forced to participate in but she figured that it could be worse, she could’ve gotten that whore from Saitama or Misa from Koto Division. Oh well, no use worrying about it now, what was done is done and she could only hope that he enjoyed his gift.

“HOLY FUCK!!”

That was the only thing that came out of Tasuku’s mouth upon seeing the gift that was addressed to him, his jaw dropped to the floor and his only good eye looked like it was about to pop out of his skull.

In front of him were two items, the first a collection of shot glasses on a miniature table very similar to that of a roulette table you’d see at a casino and the other item was a briefcase filled with cash money, $150,000 dollars to be exact. There was a small black card with gold writing as well.

‘Kawanoe Tasuku-san,

I hope things are going well for you and your sister, I wish you both a very Merry Christmas, please take care and Happy Holidays.

"Tasuku, what are you yelling ab... what the hell is this?!" Sanyu asked, upon walking into the room.

"What's wrong, San... what the...?" Ming asked, also stopping as she looked at the gifts Tasuku had in front of him, particularly the money. "Tasuku, what is this?!"

"This, my dear sister, is a roulette table filled with shot glasses, and a briefcase filled with approximately $150 grand." Tasuku answered, a smug look on his face.

"Yeah, we can see that, smartass." Sanyu asked, scowling at her friend. "What we're asking is where did it come from?"

"Oh, that? Kobayashi-san sent it to us!"

"Kobayashi... you mean Miho-san?" Ming asked.

"The one and only!" Tasuku answered, smiling a toothy grin.

"Well, that was very kind and generous of her. We'll have to write her all a nice 'thank-you' letter once we're done."

"Yeah, yeah, maybe later." Tasuku said, waving her off. "Right now, we need to be more concerned with spending this money!"

Tasuku was about to lay hands on the briefcase, but felt his hand getting slapped, making him pull it back.

"Ow!" He exclaimed. Looking up, he saw the glares of both women, which only made him respond in kind. "What the hell, you two?!"

"That's my line! You want to waste our money on gambling when we should be saving it?"

"Saving it? ...You want to keep it locked up a bank? This is $150,000 we're talking about here!"

"Exactly. And we should only be using that for emergencies! No frivolous spending or anything like that!"

"Oh, come on, Sis! Live a little, will ya?"

"...How about we split it three ways?"

Big events like this Secret Santa thing was something Ryuko was still adjusting to. The animation studio he’s in holding a Christmas party, in between the time crunches, and to top it off, Ryuko’s D.R.B. duties? It's got the poor man stressed beyond belief. But not enough to slack off on his duties of course, as he manages to ask for advice from his brother to get a gift for the woman he was assigned to gift, Ming Kawanoe. And so, at her door a package from the ex-yakuza arrived, containing…

A surprisingly cute tea gift set! Containing Genmaicha tea, little snacks, and candy all wrapped in little black cat design packaging. No letter was attached, outside of a notecard inside with the sender and addressee written, along with a surprisingly cute illustration of a cat similar to the packing design drinking some tea at a kotatsu.

Ming's mouth fell open at the sight of the tea set. She didn't know who had gifted this to her, but it was a welcome sight. Truthfully, she had seen things like this in the market all the time, but she knew that even if she saved up, she could never afford it. Being the most financially-responsible out of the MIHANASA, she naturally took control of the group's finances. Thus, she knew that she had to be very careful with how much she spent so that there was enough left over for food and utilities.

Looking at the tea set, Ming smiled and immediately headed to the kitchen to prepare herself some. After moving to Fukuoka, she had to adapt to drinking generic tea, so something like this, she was definitely going to enjoy, even if it came at least once or twice a year!
