It’s not racist. The writers realized during season 1 James and Kara were not a good match. Saying it is doesn’t make any sense. And if the writers were racist, why cast a black man to play James Olsen, who is white in the comics ? James’ skin color has nothing to do with it. 

I’m genuinely curious do karamels know their ship is racist or…?

Did you even watch 2x17 ? You can’t ignore the scene where he tries to convince his father to change things. The “invitation” to go back is just his mother manipulating him so she can rule as before. Look what she did to him. So what you expect him to kill his mother so he can be king and change things ? You just want him gone, you don’t give a damn about the right thing. 

Nope he’s not AT ALL saying that to Winn. He’s proving he’s not qualified to give advice. 

He’s not a true hero yet. Nor is he a “major asshole”. He’s already a good guy but you hate it so much you refuse to acknowledge it.

When I said he couldn’t change overnight I was talking about the coward thing. He’s accepted women as equals from day one.  He’s never said women  are inferior or men superior. 

I do think that so far Kara and Lena have a healthy friendship. I have nothing against this ship or people who ship it. What is insufferable are people like you that invade our tag and spread hate. You hate Mon-El ? Fine, you have every right but leave people alone.

where is the gif where he saved that little girl in 2x06 ? when he stopped in front of a homeless guy in 2x07 ? when Livewire was getting hurt and he wanted to help her in 2x10 ? all of this not in front of Kara so that was not to impress her

Slave owner ? Gosh you guys love to use that one. It IS horrible but he did say he didn’t agree with it in 2x09 and we’ve seen in 2x17 that if he tried to change things his mother wouldn’t let him. But I’m sure he didn’t try cause I know he was a real coward. That is the worst thing about him. He saved his own ass instead of his people, true. But when he looks at the woman on the ground you see it’s hurting him, but  again he’s a coward. No one says otherwise. 

He isn’t “giving” relationship advice to Winn that’s just not true. He isn’t telling Winn to do that. And he uses past tense, meaning he isn’t like that anymore. 

You choose to ignore the progress he’s made since he arrived on Earth. His arc is not nearly over yet. He’s got much to accomplish. If he changed overnight that would be bad writing  (like James becoming Guardian in 1 episode). But rest assured that in the end  he will  be a hero. Stay pressed

I’m currently rereading A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness and meeeh. I remember absolutely loving it when I first read it. I mean I still like it but I find Matthew way too bossy and that’s annoying. I don’t remember feeling that way but well I’ve probably evolved.

I read Down London Road from the On Dublin Street series and it was awesome ! Loved it ! 

Now I’m reading Clockwork Princess. Not ready to say goodbye to these characters.
