sometimes i think of an AU where isabella changes her mind, looks at her son, her past and decides that a last shot is needed so she helps them escape + tries with her redemption arc with Ray

either good ending, the chip thing in her heart is removed/disabled by Krone and they save Norman before he becomes an edgelord

or Bad ending: she jumps off the cliff with no remorse

corny mfs sleep together in a way too big bed: Emma is usually near the door since it's an habit picked up from the first nights in the bunker, usually Ray gets to stay in the middle but he 'hates it'

Emma and Norman are just grateful to be able to snuggle at his side

Emma wakes up at night randomly, tries to fall asleep and ends up wandering around with a bowl of leftovers

talking about my ongoing fic to convince myself to write [1:)]

- Vegetarian characters/Ray throwing up one too many times

One of the big themes of tpn is vegetarianism, as the mcs are the cattle and represent the cruel word that is animal-eating. so i used that. fun

overall, writing Ray is becoming one of the priorities. Norman is the big mc here, doing and thinking and having chapters scattered throughout the Emma thinking and Gilda angst

testing out themes is fun, i tasted the vegetarian bite slightly when talking about Ray and his tortured childhood (bc he's always fun to write angsty)

during the little moments of him eating meat i didn't make him throw up. Yeah, he's six in the flashbacks story lines; but is it necessary to get that dramatic?

i don't necessarily regret my decision, the lack of drama or straight up missed Isabella/Ray moment related to food, because I repeatedly wrote him nauseous AND I STILL HAVE NAUSEOUS MOMENTS IN MY BACKPOCKET
