Boomtown WallRunning Show

Abby and Cole Harness Duet....

Using an existing central structure at Boomtown Festival, daytime shows.

Street style, hiphop, bassline vibe.

Slapstick?, use of comedy and theatre.

Use of architecture - ledges, windows.

Wallrunning section. Will include synchronised movements and jumps.

Floor section? Character set up....scenario - painters? Boy meets Girl?

Cole can help with music?

Get some streetdance classes.

Also acrobalance, tumbling and contact dance.

other ideas:

a mirror image sequence

on the wall use one person as a base for acrobalance type lifts

loops and layers - in soundtrack and choreography....how to incorporate beatboxing?

Quixotic Fusion.

You must know about this company! they use highly skilled dancer aerialists, and do big shows with electronic mucic, large scale projections, orchestras, scultpture etc etc. Some interesting wall running, some bit fresh looking....i like the parnter stuff, lifts and simple synchro, very effective. I'd like to see it in long shot...

like her showreel, but mainly just like the wallrunning at beginning in relation to this blog! i really like the use of architecture. Wondered about having something like that where we can appear from one side, love it when she catches the front section into 'handstand' :-)

aerial harness dance

really like the use of counterweighting, i know we dealing with wall running, but its really nice to see a skilled dancer using this equipment, she makes some great shapes and the transitions are really fluid. The counterweighting is also really sensitive.

the show i saw with house screens and appearing disappearing…only clip as it was a recent show. Sadly the video camera spoils some of the visual effects/tricks, anyway there is a tiny bit of appearing etc in and out of windows…
