(Lana's POV)
After Harvestfest, Parker surprised me with a wonderful trip to Sulani for some R&R which is something we both desperately needed. Harvestfest was wonderful and we both loved seeing family that travelled from far to be with us, but after all we've been through this trip was just what we needed to reconnect. We stayed at the same place we stayed when we came on our honeymoon and it was wonderful getting to relive the memories from the beginning of our marriage.
We were in Sulani for a 4 days, so we'd have breakfast and lunch at our simbnb which we'd make together, then we'd do dinner at a local restaurant in town. The food in Sulani is so fresh that our regular meals taste so different! We try to eat healthy at home, but having fresh fruit, veg, and meat definitely does make a wonderful difference and is something we'll be taking more seriously.
We spent a lot of time just resting and relaxing in the sun, and just being together. We live streamed the midweek service at church back in Newcrest since the nearest church we'd want to attend was a bit of a drive away. We were also able to do a bit of work to prep ourselves for our arrival back home, the beauty of modern technology is the ability to work from home.

(Narrator's POV)
Abbey's waters broke the week after Harvestfest on a quiet night at home. Her parents stayed in town with them to help them and his parents travelled in to be there for the birth as well, but they were in and out of the waiting room whilst Abbey went through the various stages of labour. Adam was thankful for their lamaze classes to help him help Abbey while she was in pain as labour progressed.
Abbey was also glad for her lamaze classes, she was able to utilise the breathing techniques she learned to help her. Her mother and mother-in-law were of great help to her especially as she transitioned into active labour.
Emotions were running high as Abbey progressed through labour, Adam was there by her side the whole time making sure she was breathing through her contractions properly and helping her cool down with ice chips.
Soon it was time to get into the pool, Abbey chose to do a water birth due to their mutual love of the water and their hope that this baby will also love the water. They chose to be in the room alone with their obstetrician and the birthing team and have serene music playing to set the atmosphere.
After a few hours of pushing, little Eric Hill made his way into the world. Both mum and baby are healthy and they were able to leave the hospital and head home the next day.

Kyleigh's POV -
Harvestfest has come and gone, and we're all so fulfilled. The kids had a blast seeing their aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lilliana was born just in time this year to be able to be included in this years sibling group picture. The picture such an amazing show of the Lord's goodness in blessing us with these wonderful blessings to raise for his glory, along with any other he chooses to bless us with. We've moved into the new house now and the kids have been loving all the space they've got, so the the current time has been a time of change and of adjustment.
The boys had such an amazing time playing with Adalynn's boys, they basically spent the entire weekend running around the yard, or on the monkey bars, or at the park at the end of the road.
The girls also had a wonderful time playing in their grandparents yard, since we live nearby they do this often, but they loved being able to include their younger cousins in their usual girl games. The abundance of toddlers and infants meant they were in baby heaven!

Harvestfest - Gen 2&3 extended family roundup
(Narrator's POV) Harvestfest is a time when we peek into the rest of the extended Collins family and see what's happening in their neck of the woods. These are family members that are seen over the course of the year and are mentioned here and there, that are also present on the character pages (gen 2)(gen3) and the family tree. I also decided to make posts every 3 days again cause 5 felt like too much.
D - The Hunt Family
Sebastian (56), Danielle (53), Gabriela (17), Emma (20), and James (21)
The Hunt family also gathered in Brindleton Bay this year, they joined Danielle's twin sister's family at their Harvestfest celebrations at a rented hall in town. Danielle is still baking in her spare time, for others and for the family, she also continues to be in ministry - the music ministry at church, the women’s ministry, and helping the elderly in the congregation. When she's not helping with a ministry, she's volunteering to help in the church's garden that is used to supply fresh fruit and vegetable for those in need. She also makes time to visit with friends and family both in the area and around the way, offering to babysit for her nieces Valentina & Sabrina when they need it. Sebastian is still working at veterinary clinic and training students, but is working towards retiring. Gabriela graduated high school this year and is headed to college to become a veterinary nurse, having grown up in and around the clinic with a heart for animals.
James & Emma announced that they were pregnant! They're missionaries in Henford-on-bagley and are supporting a church with a growing congregation! Emma is about to enter her second trimester, and they can't wait to welcome their little blessing to the family in the spring!
E - The Godwin Family
Ruby Rae (21), Rory (21), Elaine (51), Amelia (14), Taylor (54), Ava Grace (17), Kyra (25) and Tyler (26)
Elaine and her family are also steadily growing and blessed, they met in Newcrest for Harvestfest she's continuing to teach at the homeschool co-op that Amelia still attends and Thomas continues in his job as an engineer. Ruby Rae is working as a nurse at a children’s hospital to get experience hours to finish nursing school, then plans to further her nursing education. Ava Grace has graduated high school this year and plans on going to bible college to get an initial degree in Bible and will explore her options from there. Amelia is just enjoying her final years in elementary before she starts her high school education.
Kyra & Tyler Shearer
Kyra and Tyler announced to the family that they're expecting! Their little one will join the family next summer and the family couldn't be happier, this will be Elaine & Thomas' first grandchild.
Rory & Sara
Rory debuted his relationship this Harvestfest, he met his girlfriend Sara Felton (21) when they joined the same Christian Students Association and they've been together coming on a year now. Sara studies Communications and is from San Seqioua, she comes from a Christian family and has 3 siblings.
F - The Collins Family
Fletcher (48), Cara (46), and James Lee (17) Collins
Fletcher still works for the Newcrest Police Department, Cara continues to work for the Newcest Conservative party, JL is in his last year of high school and is on track to attend a big christian college on a scholarship.
G - The Collins Family
Grayson (45), Keira (43), Matthew (17), and Archie (12)
Grayson continues in his work as a doctor, as well as doing speaking events with various ministries, including an upcoming medical missions trip that he's spearheading going on to Selvadorada. Keira continues to work part time as a nurse, when Archie moves into highschool then she'll move back into full time work. Matthew also in his last year of high school like his cousin James Lee, and is also looking to attend the same big christian college ona. scholarship. Archie attends his elementary school homeschool co-op, and will enjoy these last few years at home before he starts attending a private christian high school like his brother.
H - The Barnard Family
Harley (45) & Gabriel (48) Barnard
Gabriel continues teaching at San Myshuno Culinary Academy and Harley still works as Editor in Chief for Myshuno Madness Magazine, they regularly donate to conservative causes and ministries that their siblings participate in and love spending time with their family.

(Valentina's POV)(AN: Like the other posts, the ages on this are to reflect the year they were born, even if their birthdays havent happened yet.)
Townsend Family: Eric (33), Valentina (30), Aria (9), Ansel (8), Abbott & Asher (3), Abigail & Adele (2) T
Harvestfest was a success! We hosted all 39 family members at a hall that we rented and it was a wonderful time, we had loads of food & drinks, and even played some games. As is tradition, we also updated our family photos, and even though we couldn't take pictures outside due to the weather, they still came out great! We also celebrated the autumn birthdays, so me, Conner, and Jarrett had a birthday cake each.
Paulson Family: Ryan (57), Claire (53), Conner & Jarrett (17)
My parents are down to just 2 kids at home, who would've thought that this day would come! Now that they've graduated high school, both Conner and Jarrett will be attending Bible college, they're both doing foundational Bible degrees then Conner plans to focus more on Biblical leadership and Jarrett will use his time getting the foundational degree to discover his options. Now that she's not homeschooling, my mum spends more time in music ministry and visiting her grandbabies. So far there aren't any grandkids that live in or around Newcrest, so when she and my dad travel for her various performances/teaching bookings, they factor in trips to see us kids who are sprinkled all over the country. As Zach's wedding is coming up, she's also helping Kelsey and her family with wedding planning. Everyone will be back here in a few weeks for Kelsey and Zach's wedding, we're definitely blessed to be able to spend this much time with each other!
Paulson Family: Carter (33), Madelynn (30), Lester Jr (8), Fitzwilliam (3), and Alana (2)
Carter and Madelynn still live in Willowcreek, with Carter steadily getting promoted at the WPD and Madelynn homeschooling the kids. They live near and go to church with our cousins Adalynn and Tanner (along with their families) so they have a great family support system in their area like us.
Paulson Family: Alan (28), Tessa (23), Charity (4), Edgar (3), Jonathan (2), David & Abel (6 months)
Alan and Tessa definitely have their hands full! Earlier this year they welcomed twins David & Abel to the family, where they joined their 3 older siblings. We always joke that out of us all, these two are the ones that will surpass our parents and have more than 10 kids! So far they haven't announced that they're expecting again as we're used to, but you never know, the Lord may choose to bless them and they might have something to announce at the wedding! They continue to live in San Myshuno where Alan continues his work as a critic, but recently have also joined in the conversations about moving elsewhere. As their family expands they'd like somewhere away with more space, so as a family we've also been praying for the Lord to guide them in the best direction.
Robbins Family: Reid (26) and Celeste (28)
Celeste and her husband Reid are excitedly waiting for their twins to join the family! In recent weeks Celeste has had issues with her blood pressure, and especially after the tragic and unpreventable loss of Parker & Lana's twins, she's been taking every precaution; It was a plus that they didn't need to travel far for Harvestfest this year. She's been taking it easy at home and doing exercises as prescribed by her doctor. She's due early in the new year, the wedding will be her last travel plan before they hunker down and get ready for the babies to arrive.
Crocker Family: Gregory (29), Kristyn (26), Kayla (3) and Wyatt (1)
Kristyn and her husband Gregory are loving life with their little family in Oasis Springs. Gregory continues to work as a lawyer, and has just joined a christian law firm that specialises in advocating for churches and those who face oppression for their christian beliefs. Kristyn stays at home raising their two cute kids and participating in ministry with their local church.
Crawford Family: Tucker (27), Sabrina (26), Campbell (2), and Sullivan (6 months)
Sabrina and Tucker have been enjoying life with their newest addition to the family, little Sullivan. They're now at home full-time as Tucker works on the family farm, he handles operations along with other farm workers while the his family travels on tour with their music ministry. When they do local shows they perform together, they've even invited me to perform with them sometimes which is very fun and something I enjoy doing.
Paulson Family: Jarrod (22), Madison (20), Myles (2), Michael & Makenna (3 months)
Jarrod and Madison also added to their family this year! What a difference this years family picture is from last year when they were announcing their pregnancy. Little Michael and Makenna are so cute, with little Makenna being the only girl born during the baby boy boom!
Future Paulson Family: Zachary (21) and Kelsey Parness (20)
These two just can't wait to be married! The wedding is planned for the first few weeks of winter, so only a few weeks left! The ceremony and reception will take place at our home church, so Sabrina and I been blessed to be able to help with the planning for the wedding. Kelsey is such a sweet girl and we can't wait to have her officially join the family. After marriage they'll live in Newcrest, which is a first for my parents as so far all of us have moved away after getting married for one reason or another.

(Brittany's POV)(AN: A harvestfest switch-up, didn't feel like the narrator POV)
The extended (Branden) Collins family: Branden (54) & Lea (53) Collins holding Elizabeth Dahlmann (3) and Ember Collins (1), Brittany (32) & Colton (34)
Happy Harvestfest from us! We gathered at Abbey & Adam's place in Britechester this year for a change, she's so close to having her baby that none of us wanted to risk her going into labour during her travels - so we brought the party to her! She got to put her feet up while my mother, Tabitha, and I prepared a feast for the 13 of us, wasn't too hard considering we've had practice prepping food for large family events. My parents have enjoyed the past year in ministry as well as visiting us, between Tanner & Tabs in Willowcreek, us in Windenburg, and Abbey & Adam in Britechester, they're kept very busy.
The Hill Family: Abbey (32) & Adam (32)
Abbey and Adam are so close to meeting their precious baby boy! Things in the family have been quite tense in terms of pregnancy, so we're just rejoicing that they've made it this far and we pray that both mama and baby come out the other side of labour & delivery safe and sound. Adam continues to teach at both Foxbright and Britechester whilst working at the Marine Research Centre; Abbey is currently on maternity leave from her job at the Marine Research Centre, so she's nesting at home prepping for baby to arrive.
The Dahlmann Family: Colton (34) & Brittany (32), Nicole (7), Elizabeth (3) and Alexander (3 months)
We have been enjoying our newest addition, little Alexander. The girls have been enjoying having a little brother and overall just enjoying having a little baby in the house. Nicole has adjusted well to homeschooling and is such a joy to teach, my mum comes to visit every 1-2 months and will take over teaching which is she something she and Nicole both enjoy.
The Collins Family: Tanner (29), Tabitha (24), Tanner Jr [TJ] (3) , and Ember (1)
Tanner and his lovely wife Tabitha are also a thriving family, they were meant to have made the move back to Newcrest this year but there were unexpected obstacles that appeared so now it looks like they'll be moving around Easter time. Our parents are overjoyed that they're going to have grandkids that are local to them and have been a great help with the house hunting efforts, especially now that they have a finalised move date.

(Adalynn's POV)(AN: This should've posted 3 hours ago but we move, I decided to finally just post what's in my queue instead of waiting for a full queue because I'd just continue procrastinating. I'm actively working on my queue as we speak so let's keep this momentum moving. To summarise where we left off, it's now Harvestfest so you're getting a refresher on who's who in the family and how many grandkids we're up to now.)
Happy Harvestfest! As is tradition we packed up and travelled into town for the festivities, this year we didn't have a majority of the family in town as they met in different cities & towns this year but we did enjoy seeing the family that were in town. We got an updated picture of my parent with their now 33 grandchildren! It was definitely a labour of love getting all the kids to sit/stand still long enough to take the picture, but the picture will definitely be cherished for the years to come. By next Harvestfest this picture will be out of date as Priscilla's baby should be here by then!
Collins siblings: Adalynn (35), Barrett & Macie (34), Zoe (31), Maggie (27), Reece (26), Beckett (25), Amira (24), Priscilla & Annette (22), Charles (21), Parker (20), Ashton (17)
The biggest surprise was that Zoe & Francisco were able to make it for Harvestfest! With their very recent deployment to Henley-on-bagley, we didn't think we'd see them for a while due to uncertainty on whether Francisco would get leave so early into their time there that we had accepted we probably wouldn't see them for a while. Beckett and Mandy made their yearly trip to visit us and travel around raising funds and gathering support for their missions work in Selvadorada. There still wasn't a baby announcement from them, so we continue to pray for them.
Adalynn & Mason's 9 children: Noah (13), Luke (11), Aaron (10), Paul (9), Joshua (7), Caleb & Jonah (5), Titus (3), and Bethany (1)
This year my parents wanted updated portraits of the grandkid clusters, so we went through and got the kids to pose for pictures. I still can't believe that the Lord has thought to bless us with 9 wonderful children! Noah is now a teenager and is starting to go through the experiences that come with growing pains, this is new territory for us, so we pray that we can approach this new change in the best way possible.
Barrett & Kyleigh's 12 kids: Chloe, Allan Jr [AJ] & Benjamin [Benji] (10), Rose & Violet (9), Daisy (8), Marigold (7), Olivia (5), Preston (3), Jefferson (2), Jackson (1), and Lilliana (3 months)
Barrett & Kyleigh recently welcomed their 12th little blessing, little Lilliana. Even though I have 9 myself, I'm in awe of how those two parent, they make having 12 children look so easy! Kyleigh and I are usually pregnant together for every other one of her pregnancies, so Lord willing if we both get pregnant then this will be another year of us pregnant again!
Zoe & Francisco's 3 children: Javier Jr [JJ] (4), Cassie (3), Sofia (2 months)
Zoe and Francisco recently welcomed little Sofia to their family, Zoe was a trooper through the entire time. She went into labour unexpectedly and had to have an emergency c-section, then had to handle moving house plus moving seemingly across the world with a newborn and two toddlers - She's basically superwoman! The kids are delighted to have a little sister and have enjoyed doting on little Sofia, Zoe says they've adjusted well in the short time they were at their new home, and hopefully they'll continue to adjust well.
Maggie & Shane's twins: Arlo & Iris (3)
The twins seem to grow by leaps and bounds every time i see them! Maggie and Shane have them in a christian pre-school/daycare where they live in San Myshuno, and the videos we get are so precious!
Reece & Stacie's kids: Liam (6) and Hazel (3)
These kids have also grown immensely in the time since I've seen them! Liam has officially started school, he attends a homeschool co-op run through the church that the family attend and his education is managed by Stacie. Hazel attends the same preschool/daycare as her cousins Arlo & Iris.
Amira & Thomas' daughter, Maya (2)
This little girl is such a delight, we saw her recently on our vacation to Windenburg and she's so incredibly smart! Amira works with her on scripture memory and she's so diligent with it. When asked, Amira and Thomas have said that they're just enjoying their time with Maya while she's in this inquisitive season of life, so we'll continue to pray for them with regards to expanding their family.
Priscilla & Felix's kids: Andrew (4) and Grace (2)
These two are so excited to welcome their new sibling! It's amazing how well their little minds can understand that there's a baby in their mum's tummy and that they'll have a baby at home! Little Grace was so enraptured with little Jaxton and the other infants at home, I just know she'll be an amazing big sister to their new baby sibling when the time comes.
Charles & Lorilee's son Everett (1), not pictured is his newborn baby brother, Jaxton.
Everett looks so big now that she's a big brother! Lorilee has been such a trooper with being so freshly postpartum and still having the energy to get dressed and be at a big family function. Charles was telling us how prior to Lorilee giving birth he'd been asking about the baby, yet when baby arrived he didn't do very well when they met. After a while Everett came around and now loves his baby brother.

A11, A12, B10 and D3!
Hiya, thanks for sending in questions! I definitely need to find time to sit and gather questions for you guys cause this question game is great!
A11 - A hint, spoiler, or teaser for an upcoming post
One thing I think a lot of people have questions on is Macie's future, I can confirm she will marry at some point, but nothing more - you'll have to see what happens when the time comes!
A12 - How far ahead are you? Do you have a full queue?
A full queue to me is enough posts to last for about a month, at some point I used to have 30 posts in my queue before I started but now I'd consider it to be 15 if I post every 2-3 days. Right now my queue is what I'd consider halfway done, but I'd like to have my screenshots done for a few more plot points before i continue.
B10 - Advice for keeping large households alive?
Honestly, mods save the day when it comes to keeping them alive. When I was playing gen 2&3, I realised the house sizes and layouts are very important. Allan & Casandra's household was slightly easier to play than Claire & Ryan's household because their houses were built different (something i definitely wasn't thinking of when I was choosing their houses)
If you're okay with a bit of cheating here and there, having the game automatically send the school-age kids off at the start of the day does take a major load off of having to monitor loads of sims. If you actually 'homeschool' the kids at home, get the older kids done and dealt with before the little kids wake up and start chaos (I have the smaller kids sleep longer while the older ones are doing their homework)
Meal times are definitely a work of patience, first off getting enough time for the cook (cause it can be mum or whatever sister is available) to actually get enough food made for everyone. When the kids are all younger it's definitely a matter of timing, either pair off a big kid with a small kid and have them keep each other busy or keep the kid busy with a toy (which is eeringly similar to real life HAHA)
Signing up the kids for extra curriculars (if your family is that way convicted) also helps lighten the load by keeping the children busy. If your sims can afford instruments I'd definitely have them keep themselves busy because there's the added benefit of it increasing their creative trait. If the kids have access to a playground either on their property or nearby, I send them off there to keep them busy AND to increase their motor skills.
I'm about to evaluate how well I do these, Alan & Tessa have just had their 4th & 5th kids in 4 years whilst Barrett & Kyleigh have had 12 in 10ish years so I'm still in the trenches so to speak. None of my previous couples have reproduced this fast so I'm very much still on this learning curve.
D3 - Favourite plot line form another blog
Jamilah's entire generation narration from @shinyhappysims, she's such a special brand of unhinged that when I need a laugh I'll go back and read some of her posts.

A4, B7, C8 for Lana, D3
oo I like these!
A4 - What part of your blog are you most proud of?
I'm most proud of my character pages (here, here, and here), it took days of just scrolling looking for themes that could fit the need I had then even MORE time taking pictures for each character then coding all the information in correctly. I'm actually due a redo of the gen 3 character page because there have been marriages, babies, and new couples.
B7 - Which household is the easiest to play and which are the most/least enjoyable?
The easiest households to play are always the ones without kids or like 1 kid, but honestly playing Adalynn's household is quite easy in terms of the 'big' households. The most enjoyable households have been the ones where there are more than 5 people, cause someone is also getting into something. What's actually funny is that when I play Allan & Casandra's household (which is them and the 3 singles), its somehow always chaotic in some way if they happen to be all at home. In terms of least enjoyable, for some reason there's this glitch that appears when I play with Barrett & Kyleigh's household that makes playing annoying, but the households with animals require more oversight than those with a million toddlers running around. Valentina's household has chickens & goats, and when I play them i prioritise the animals before the humans - when they move and eventually get more animals im about to be stresssssed.
C8 - A few random facts about Lana, these were a few I had actually forgotten about and went back to my notes to review, so thanks for such a good question!
[1] She's broken her arm as a child as a result of falling off a playground set, her mother used it as an excuse to start pushing the ladylike behaviour training
[2] Growing up in Oasis Springs, she hadn't properly experienced snow until she started travelling to Newcrest in the winter for Parker, now she's still adjusting to experiencing all four seasons
[3] She actually was in a sort of pre-courtship with a boy at her church when she was like 16, but her parents stepped in and ended that because they didn't like the boy (his father wasn't saved so they didn't think him worthy enough - very superficial)
D3 - Favourite plot/story from another blog?
I loved the scandal of that guy getting that girl pregnant at that wedding on @clarkes-and-god's blog, I'm forgetting names but I think it was during Mallory's gen if I'm remembering correctly.

random but I always see all the cousins/extended fam interacting and I would love to know how you manage to achieve that on the regular?? i feel like there simply aren't enough hours in the (sim) day lol especially with the big(ger) families, by the time i've got everyone's needs sorted and screenshots taken it's back to bedtime again *sigh*
Hi Anon! I've just seen this so sorry for such a delayed reply.
When it comes to incorporating different family members, i've definitely planned ahead how they're going to interact with each other. Usually I've got the poses planned and the set up is written down in my notes, though there will be times that the family member will randomly come and visit and I'm able to work in their interactions with each other into the plot OR I save the screenshots for another time.
I would say planning ahead is your best friend, when I'm operating at my best I've planned out the whole sim year in terms of events, then I go season by season. I write down a list of potential events that could happen within the year (excluding babies & weddings) and basically just find a place to put them. I've got the courtships planned out at specific times, so they have their own timeline. Another thing I would say is that because I have 4 different 'main' characters, it's easier to involve the extended family because I'm essentially covering all bases - Adalynn sees the family that live in Willowcreek with her and those that visit, Kyleigh reports on the Newcrest happenings and the family there, Lana is also in Newcrest but can report on more extended family as her season of life is different, and Valentina has her side of the family plus extended Brindleton Bay family covered.

The Big Fundie Simblr Ask Game
I've noticed that our beloved Fundie Simblr community could use a little more action, so I've written up this (insanely long!) ask game. Just pick a letter and a number to play. I encourage you to send asks to your mutuals and non-mutuals alike!
A: Writing/Posting
Who is your favorite sim to write for? Your least favorite?
What has been your favorite storyline to write? Your least favorite?
If you could go back and change anything you've written, what would it be?
What part of your blog are you most proud of?
How long does it take you to draft the average post?
Where do you write?
Where do you get your inspiration?
Do you base characters off people you know personally?

How far ahead do you plan? Do you have a full queue right now?
B: Gameplay
What packs do you use the most?
What mods do you use the most?
Who is your favorite CC creator for modest clothing?
Do you think you struggle with "same-face syndrome" when creating your sims? 🙃
Do you find yourself falling into trends with regards to the "type" of (fundie) sims you create? (for example: lots of guys in the military, lots of girls with red hair, et cetera)
How do you pick names for your sims?
If you have multiple households, which is the easiest/most enjoyable to play? How about the easiest/least enjoyable?
Do you keep your sims on a routine, or is it constant chaos?
Do you cheat needs often? (No judgment either way!)
What's your advice for keeping large households alive?
In actual gameplay, how fundie are your sims? (for example: do you let them kiss before marriage, even though in-story they don't do that until the wedding? Do your sims actually have the jobs they do in the story? Et cetera.)
When you're not playing fundie sims, what kind of sims do you play?
C: Character Questions
Feel free to answer these as yourself/the narrator, or as the characters themselves! And if you're the one sending the ask, make sure to specify the sims in question, unless you want to be surprised :)

After Parker & Lana's devastating loss, when it came time for Lorilee to have her baby 2 weeks later she and Charles were understandably very nervous. Her water broke at home and they immediately headed for the hospital and alerted the family, where thankfully labour and delivery went well and they welcomed baby Jaxton Collins to the world. They were able to leave the hospital fairly quickly where they introduced him to his older brother Everett (1), her family came into town to meet the baby and will stay for harvestfest celebrations.

(Narrator) After their terrible loss, Lana took to SimBook to share her gratitude for the support she and Parker received from family and friends in immediate aftermath. Now she and Parker can focus on moving past this and adapting to their new & unexpected normal, though she makes sure to clarify that people don't need to walk on eggshells around on the topic of children. She and Parker are aware that the culture they were raised around highly values children and the people around them will continue to have children, so people shouldn't be shy to share their happy news.
Caption: "
Finally gathering my thoughts to sit down and write this. I can’t thank everyone enough for all the support you’ve given Parker and me in this tragic time. Losing Oliver & Naomi was the worst day of our lives and all of you gathered around us and lifted us up, and for that we’re eternally thankful.
Thank you to my wonderful family who mobilised when I was bleeding out and at risk of death (I’ve tried to tag everyone but I hit the limit), who prepared meals for Parker while he was at the hospital with me, who cleaned the house so we came home to a clean space after such a traumatic time. They also planned and hosted the entire funeral & memorial service for our dear babies, which I didn’t have the strength to plan.
To our church friends & online friends who have sent prayers, meals, and just a good word - thank you for showing up and being there for us. Seeing the sheer amount of people who showed up for the service warmed my heart in ways I didn’t think were possible, our sweet babies were so loved and all they knew was love. They are now in their eternal home praising the Lord, waiting until we can be reunited one day.
In the coming times ahead, please continue to pray for us and our healing. I had to have emergency surgery which has quite the healing time, and won’t be able to move much while I spend the next 6-10 weeks healing. While we are still adjusting to this sudden change in plan, please don’t hesitate to share your joyous news with us! With how many people in our lives are having children, we don’t want to miss out on a chance to celebrate with you. We are content that the Lord will bless us with children of our own at a time that He sees fit."

(Lana's POV)(TW for pregnancy loss/medical emergency/funeral)
A few weeks before my due date I woke up in terrible pain, I didn't understand what was happening as I just knew in my heart that it wasn't your typical labour pain. The pain got worse with every passing second and I started bleeding, so Parker called for an ambulance and called our mums to let them know what was happening.
At some point on the journey to the hospital I passed out, and when I woke up very confused and disoriented, Parker had to explain to me that I suffered a placental abruption and was rushed into surgery. The twins and I were all in distress and whilst they were able to stabilise me, the twins passed in utero and were removed from me during the surgery. Honestly my mind was so foggy after surgery that I didn't really take in what he was saying for a while until I heard a baby cry and it really hit me that we had lost our babies. My family got on a plane as soon as they could after hearing the news, but as I couldn't have any guests for the first few days after surgery I didn't see them until I was moved out of the ICU. Parker's parents and sisters also came by, and it was so emotional seeing family and seeing all the messages and videos from those in the group chats we have. We were allowed to say a final goodbye to the babies after they were cleaned up after surgery, and that was the most heartbreaking moment I've ever had to experience, and one I pray I never have to experience again.
Once I was out of the hospital and back at home, our families banded together to arrange a funeral service for our babies. I was so out of everything that I told them they could handle all of it and just tell me when and where to be there. The service was beautiful, Allan Sr did a wonderful job at highlighting the promise of heaven that we have, and that while the situation is extremely sad, we can rejoice that our babies are now resting with our Lord and saviour. He reminded us all that salvation is key reaching heaven at the end of our earthly journey, which was a sobering reminder for us all.
We got an hour to ourselves at the church before the service started so we could privately say goodbye to our babies. For the first 20 minutes I couldn't bring myself to look at the teeny tiny caskets, but Parker encouraged me that it would be good to gain some closure on the whole experience. We had planned to name them Oliver and Naomi and had had a few personalised things made for them, so I brought the onesies we planned for them to wear coming home from the hospital for them to be buried with. Our parents joined us towards the end where they were able to say goodbye, and after a quick prayer we started welcoming people into the chapel for the service. We then had a family-only burial before everyone headed back to church and our mother's hosted the wake, we chose to just head home as we were both feeling overwhelmed.

(Valentina's POV)
We recently celebrated Abigail & Adele's 2nd birthday, it feels like just yesterday that they were born but here they are walking, talking, and even running around. With them being the last born children, it's always a bit emotional for me when we reach a milestone for them, though I will celebrate the day that we're done with potty training! To celebrate we took the kids to a soft play area in town for the afternoon where we were joined by Sabrina's family as well as some families from church.
My sisters and I have been discussing healthier lifestyles, and after 6 kids in less than 10 years I've felt that exercise has fallen to the wayside. Eric isn't really a gym guy, but then again he's always been fit and healthy as he's always working outside doing something or another, but I decided to do a free trial at a gym in town to see how I felt about it. This gym also does fitness classes that I've been going to every now and again, and I think i'll be sticking to those as they're more structured.
Aria has continued in her violin lessons and is doing incredibly well for her age, I push for her to practice between 3-5 times a week as I don't think doing it everyday is feasible for her. Our church has a program for musicians to practice with a choir to help them learn how to play as a group, and Aria goes at least twice a week and is really enjoying it so far.
Life with lots of littles is definitely a patience builder, there's always someone who needs something - be it a hug, a wipe down, a snack, or to ask a question. While it can be overwhelming, I wouldn't have it any other way right now because I know that very soon we'll be out of this season of life and my littles won't be so little anymore and won't need me the way they do now.
Our mini goats are proving to be great additions, we shear them for wool that we sell most of the time or we gift to those we know that knit, since I don't. We also get milk from them that we're able to use up quite quickly with all the food we consume here at home.
After we put the kids to bed, a recurring topic of conversation between Eric and I has been where we'll move to. We've been visiting different properties in the area and are in discussions with a few owners and are praying on our final decision. Harvestfest is being hosted by us this year, so we're hoping that we can announce where we'll be moving to by the end of the year. We're going to be renting a hall for all of us to gather in, as the weather is predicted to be unsuitable for gathering outside, it's also much easier for us to come home to a clean house than have to worry about clean up.

(Kyleigh's POV)
As we come to the end of our time in Brindleton Bay, I can't help but thank the Lord for his goodness is all things. The kids have been counting down the days until we can go back permanently, and whilst I'm insanely happy to go back to our house, I'll definitely miss our time here. My parents being in the same house has been such a blessing to us and while this was somewhat unexpected, I thank the Lord for this extra time we've spent together. As my parents age it's been on my heart to see them more often
As we get into the cooler parts of the year I've been motivated to finish my knitting projects so that the kids will have warm clothes to wear this winter. Carving out time to actually do this has been easier while in Brindelton Bay, as one of my parents will do an activity with the big kids while the littles nap. They've been memorising verses at sunday school, and a few homeschool mums at my parent's church have created a co-op of sorts for afternoon activities for the kids, so my parents have been taking the kids to those meet ups in the afternoons.
We recently celebrated Barrett & Macie's birthday, Macie came to visit after finishing a week at a worship camp for young women. The kids love seeing their aunt Macie, and begged to be able to help make their birthday cakes and decorate for the little party we had at home. Macie has been such a blessing to me in the many years that we've been friends, at this point we've known each other longer than we've not known each other. She's served as a sister, confidant, prayer partner, and many more over the years and I can't thank the Lord enough for her. We always joke that we pray for her to marry someone who lives in the area so she won't have to move too far away!
