Looking for a job in a science field will age you 1000 years as you realize you could make more money doing any minimum wage job in a big city than you could doing anything with your major anywhere.

I'm not really that worried by the "gum releases micro plastics" thing, because I sleep with a plastic retainer and I grind my teeth. I've probably eaten more micro plastics from that than I will ever eat while chewing gum.

It's been 2 years since it happened and I'm still blown away by the kindness of my friends & even strangers online to help me get on hormones in 2023. It has legitimately improved my life to a degree that I didn't think was possible at the time and I am looking forward to the future for the first time in a while. It's just amazing and still surreal. I don't know that I ever properly expressed how much everybody helped, even with just kind words and spreading my request around.

It's actually sickening to have to buy a cap and gown for graduation. $80 for some crap I will only wear one single time. What the helllll. What is it with single use ceremony gear that makes companies charge insane prices for what is basically just a piece of colored fabric.

Every day American politics tests everyone's patience by releasing some bill that's like "observing normalcy and continuing usual activity" and it's mostly related to farm taxes, except for a random section in the middle that mandates all babies be subjected to 1 hour in a glass cube full of leeches and wasps after birth. And the bill passes unanimously for some reason.

Everyone I know is always telling me that I take pictures of animals that do not accurately depict their cuteness. I disagree. I take pictures of animals that show them exactly how they look, and if they seem ugly, I had nothing to do with that.
