Last week i took a walk and lifted a bunch of rotten logs and stuff, one log contained a bunch of these wormy guys. Not sure what they are but they remind me of mealworms a little. Definitely a wood burrowing species of whatever they are, very interesting find either way

Ive never made anything like this before, not by myself but regardless i decided to make some birdhouses/boxes this year. They turned out pretty well considering. It's uneven and not the prettiest but they are sturdy enough.

If i make more in the future i'll try the sloped roof like i realized i was supposed to. Still, pretty nice!

I never shared the bear story with you guys i realized.

Earlier December there had been sightings of an orphaned baby black bear. He was spotted a few times, too small to be on his own and should have been hibernating. Well, my uncle got in contact with a bear sanctuary who said they would take him. They actually provided the trap, my uncle set it up and on the second night they caught him early morning before the sun was up

I didn't get to see him in person, but my uncle did take this single photo
