TO EVERYONE LIVING IN AMERICA!
If this is actually common knowledge, I’m sorry for living under a rock.
On June 14th, there will be a nationwide protest called the No Kings March. It is meant to be a peaceful protest, not to cause conflict.
I’m sure that some of you know what’s happening in our country right now. Deportations, ICE, LA, it’s a lot. But you shouldn’t look away from it. I know this isn’t my usual content. You’re welcome to scroll past this. But please have some awareness and basic empathy. If you are old enough to go out and protest, then I encourage you to find your state’s location for the march. Please.
I’m not going to write some lengthy paragraph on how many felonies and unconstitutional acts The President has committed, because that’d be a waste of time. Instead, I’m here to remind you that America is a melting pot. There is no β€œright” way to be American. And to all the people who just disagreed with me, stop eating food. No, I’m serious. Do you not understand how much of your food and culture is from other cultures? Being patriotic doesn’t mean putting other people down because they aren’t β€œpart” of your group. None of us are free until all of us are free. To all the people who take advantage of and look down at undocumented immigrants or even just people who have a different skin color than you, you are not making this country great. No one thinks this country is great right now, fascists. You dumb fucks.
I’m scared. I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say I’m scared. It’s not free in the country of freedom right now. Please spread awareness. Please don’t be ignorant. We don’t need to be silenced. We have a voice.
Please reblog!

Dudes healthcare is so fake. My ADHD meds are $940 without insurance. But they gave me a website of "coupons" which straight up looks like a scam website, and I got it today for $60! Just a coupon from a random website and it was $900 cheaper. America, I am confusion!! America explain!!

As an Asian girl, I’m all here for this, let me be your shield as well.
"race changing from one reality to another is problematic" pisses me off so badly.
there is no original reality. therefore you have no original ethnicity.
i want to be pretty. people of all ethnicities can be pretty. maybe one day i want sharp, cutting eyes like Ruoshan Wang. maybe one day i want big doe eyes like Mila Kunis. maybe i want a button nose like Jenna Ortega. maybe i want a cute flat nose like Chaewon. maybe i want albino skin and hair so i can look ethereal. maybe i want darker skin so i look like a goddess. maybe i want pin-straight hair that won't stay in any hairstyle except "down". maybe i want coily hair i can play with. maybe i want thin lips to look more innocent. maybe i want big lips that look oh so kissable. have you considered i like features regardless of ethnicity. of course being white in this reality and then "becoming x other race" is weird, but from one reality to another? it's a whole other reality. you've always been another ethnicity there. the reality already exists, you're just selecting it. and why would i be the same in every reality? have you considered i want variety, not the same thing every time?? if i wanted monotony, i'd stay here
adding onto my previous point, i want to experience it all. i could always be a foreigner, could always have one foot in the door, could always think i'm starting to understand a culture only to be reminded that i'm an outsider when i hear a joke only a native would get. and to everyone who wants that, that's cool. but i want to learn about different cultures the best i can, and i want to belong. if i wanted to be an outsider, i'd stay in my cr

Yeah, I get all your points lol, but the thing is-
People actually defend Rose lol? All I’ve seen is hate on her
Harry was making poor decisions as a father in TCC. The controversy is that people would think that he’d be a good father, and don’t like how he’s portrayed.
People don’t like Albus bc, yeah, he is pretty blunt and straightforward (I still love him though).
People like Hermione.
Rose is a teenage girl. She’s going to be a bitch at times. Weren’t we all?
(Btw these are just my opinions and interpretations, please don’t target me or this other person!!!)
Do you think Rose rejected Scorpius just because she was a hardcore Scorbus fan or what

β›‘οΈπŸš¨Read it once and you will not regret it. It will bring you good.πŸ‰πŸ¦‹
There's no doubt that the sheer number of messages and requests for help from people inside Gaza makes you feel frustrated and bored. I agree with you on this, and you might even say to yourself, "I've wasted my money from the sheer number of donations I've made to the people of Gaza." But can you imagine what we've been going through every day for 17 consecutive months? Every day there's destruction, bombing, death, and devastation. Has this disaster and destruction we're experiencing made us tired or despairing?
When we ask for help from you, don't think it's easy or simple for us. It tears our hearts out and embarrasses us greatly, especially since we were from a prominent family and lived a dignified and beautiful life. I graduated from university with an excellent GPA, and my husband is also educated, but he started his own business and invested money through it.
You forced us to do this. We lost our home and our own business that used to bring us a lot of money. We lost all the necessities of life. We lost the ability to provide the simplest things to live on.
We never imagined in our lives that we would ask for help from anyone one day, but the harsh circumstances we live in

I am Eman. For more than 17 months, we have been struggling to provide a living for my family and my young children, Jourie, Misk, and Lana. Lana needs extensive healthcare as she has been afflicted with diseases and needs treatment and a clean, uncontaminated place. In addition, she needs a vaporizer due to shortness of breath. We cannot provide everything we need, firstly because of the destruction we are living in, and the other reason is the siege, the closure of the crossings, and the exorbitant prices we are experiencing. Everything has become five times more expensive or more.

used to imagine for my family and children have become a mirage in light of what we are living now. Hunger and my inability to provide the simplest things are destroying us completely. We flee our tent when the Israeli vehicles come to us in the middle of the night and the weather is extremely cold. We do not know where to go. The days have exhausted us and the famine has worn down our bodies.
This is a video of my destroyed home and my previous place of residence before I was displaced to Mawasi Khan Yunis.πŸ₯ΊπŸ˜πŸ‰πŸ™πŸš¨πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

enough to make you feel the extent of the helplessness and despair that tears our bodies apart? Have you felt my sadness now and imagined everything I am going through so far? That is why we ask for your help because we are in dire need of you. You are the only hope we have left. Do not leave us to die, for you are the shining light on which we live our last moments.
We know that you are demonstrating for us and doing what you can every day. You may feel very helpless to stop the bloodshed and brutal massacres that are happening to us, but you are able to support and revive my weak family. We ask you for a helping hand. We address your hearts and minds to help my family to save it from the bloodbath that has paralyzed and harmed not only Gaza but the entire world.
If you can't donate, I ask you to share my story out of humanity and love.
As you can see now, we are exhausted. The severe blockade is a bad omen for us. We have been struck by a severe famine. We cannot provide for our livelihood. Everything is missing, and if it is found in the markets, it is very expensive. The simplest thing I can ask for now is a donation to buy me a bag of flour, the price of which has reached
More than $500, and the purchase of a vaporizer for my daughter Lana also costs over $700.πŸš¨πŸ™
We are in the midst of a never-ending bloodbath. I don't want to see my children die of hunger. If they survived the bombing, I don't want to see them die of starvation, their stomachs empty. They cry every day. They want me to provide them with some bread, but I can't because I can't afford it.

Please listen and complete carefully and accurately. My husband has been suffering from a hernia in his foot for more than seven months. He needs physical therapy to walk again on his feet. The cost of physical therapy is about $700. I hope that everyone who has humanity in their heart will donate even a little towards these costs, as we are unable to cover them due to the difficult and harsh living conditions we are going through.

Cassandra β€œCassie” Tarot
(Playing: β€œThe Challenge” from Epic: The Musical)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Family: Zephyr (son), [redacted] (husband).
Head of House: Slytherin.
Professor of: Charms.
Hobbies: Art, jewelry making, study of magic, mythology, weaponry, self-defense.
Age: [redacted]…
I didn’t even want to try her backstory, cause it would just be a whole hoard of [redacted], and that’d get annoying and repetitive. I’ll do a reveal post on who Zephyr’s dad/Cassie’s husband is, and if you want more information… just ask for the fanfiction name where they’re based off (it’s a crossover fanfiction with PJO and the HP next gen, so most likely not everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s fine lol).

Oh lookie at me writing about something serious for once.
Okay. So.
β€œProshipping”
It’s a thing. A very controversial thing that I think more people should address. I’m going to try not to take sides here, bc hell no.
Discussion under cut! TW: HEAVY MENTION OF INCEST / GROOMING / PEDOPHILIA / SA
Now before I have ppl in my comments and my asks spamming me β€œOH WHY TF ARE YOU WRITING ABOUT THIS??”, hear me out.
Warning; the definition of proshipping I use for this post will be people who ship along the lines of incest, pedophilia, abusive relationships, etc.
I don’t want you to argue with me, no matter which side of the controversy you’re on (constructive criticism is fine). I’ve done a solid 20 minutes of research, and here are my thoughts.
Proshippers. Are. Valid.
They are people. And I don’t like how some are instantly treating them like trash. They. Are. People. With. Emotions.
I’m not saying that their actions are good, or that I agree with them, but some people need to calm down when talking about this. From what I have seen, most proshippers are minors, and have experienced trauma themselves relating to SA or grooming. I’m not a professional by any means, but we should definitely know the fact that humans are complicated. Some find comfort in the very things that have hurt them. People who say they want to β€œhelp people” by silencing proshippers are not helping the people who are getting death threats and are being confronted for proshipping, you are merely pushing them further away. Please have some empathy goddammit. While I see that this is problematic and downright concerning at times, you are not helping the core problem by doing this.
But I implore you, please, please please, if you do identify as a pro shipper, just… be careful. I don’t entirely understand how you think or what you have experienced, and I won’t pretend I do. I live in an area where pedophilia and assault is common, so I just have a very strong opinion on this. Please be responsible. Please use tags. While you might be comfortable with and enjoy this, others might be heavily triggered by it. You aren’t disgusting. I hope you know that, and your experiences are valid. I just can’t personally agree with you on this, but I hope this doesn’t make me seem biased. This kind of mindset can be harmful if not properly handled, and it can become a slippery slope.
I’m someone who is heavily uncomfortable with the prospect of incest and/or grooming, as intimacy in itself is something very sacred to me (for a lack of a better word, sorry if that sounds pretentious). I’d be so ashamed of myself and scared to death if something like that happened to me, but I can see where everyone in this argument is coming from. Proshippers want to loved and accepted (like any normal human does), while antis don’t want anyone to get hurt (like any normal human does). If I am lacking any useful information or big piece of understanding, you’re welcome to let me know any way you’re comfortable with!
I’m so sorry if I phrased anything offensively, as that would never be my intention, and I’d be happy to fix it if possible <3. This is a kind of nuanced topic that I hate to misinterpret.
Also why tf are some of the tags called β€œproshitters”, how rude can some of you people be?
