Are you still alive? If so then how have you been doing lately?

Being honest Anon, I am having a very very hard time right now.

I'm alive, yes, but my attention has just been desperately needed elsewhere.

I don't like delving too much into my private life outside of this blog and my writing because I want this blog to be a fun and safe place for you, Anon, and everyone else to enjoy good Jojo related content. I don't think I've even announced publicly what my irl work of the past 2 years is but I think it's time to have a discussion about it now.

For the past 2 years I have been caring for an elderly relative, and nearly all of that time of that has been completely full time.

In short, things have changed recently regarding their health, they have dementia and it's becoming very apparent they're rapidly going down hill. It's getting to the point where I just can't do this myself anymore.

With the help of my family, we're working to get her situated in a proper care home but it's taking a while. I'm still working round the clock for this relative and enormous strain is on me. It's hard to even find a 10 minute break these days let alone a good night's sleep.

On top of things, another close relative of mine is sick and it's looking very bad. I'm trying my best to be actively there for them and the rest of my struggling family on top of my work for my elderly relative with dementia. It feels like my world is just in shambles right now.

I'm so so sorry I've been MIA for so very long but I'll have to be gone for a little longer. I honestly don't know how long.

My mental health has really taken a dive over all of the stress that's been put on me and the grief I'm feeling for my sick relatives and the ones I love.

Yes, I am still doing Pillarmen stories and I am doing my best to get the ball rolling with updates and more content by answering asks but I am very backed up with work 😥😣 My life is completely different than how it was over a year ago when I first started taking requests and that has sadly resulted in my writing habits to become different. 😓

I'm hoping to polish off some writing soon for you guys to enjoy but I hate making promises I can't garuntee I can keep 😅🥲🤕 so the best we can do is just hope I find the time, headspace and energy to get the requests fulfilled 😅

The Pillarmen and their nervous habits 😅 ...

(⚠️MILD WARNING!!! ⚠️

Brief mentions of blood, implied violence, and maybe some mental imagery on gross habits. Mentions of: Nail/lip biting and scratching until bleeding in particular! )

Kars:

•Though always the definition of composed in the direct view of his peers (and enemies) Kars does indeed have a few nervous habits of his own.

•As you have probably guessed, however, in comparrison to his companions he's much better at keeping them more private.

•First thing's first, Kars is a big nail biter.

•The majority of the time he doesn't even realize he has them in his mouth, chewing away, until someone (likely Esidisi) points it out to him.

•It was a habit that only formed sometime after the massacre of his Tribe.

•His nails, once long and sharp, tapered to almost wicked claws, got bitten down under the stresses that came with rearing two infants whilst trying to survive in a hellish world of deadly sunshine in hopes of achieving his ambitions.

•He never managed to quite break the habit and thus, his nails never grew out as long and sharp as they once were.

•At the very least, it's a good excuse for him to get a good manicure here and there.

•Kars' second biggest nervous habit is hair pulling; it's one of the main reasons he prefers to keep it under wraps but it's not quite as serious as his nail issue.

•When his hair is down and the man is lost in a sea of thought, he's likely yanking, tugging and finger-combing at his long and beautiful plum tresses.

•If left unchecked, he'll have to devote much time later on grooming, washing and combing to repair the damage done and then on goes the head wrap to keep him from doing it again. Rinse and repeat.

Esidisi:

•Pretty much everyone who has crossed paths with Esidisi is aware of his habit of breaking down to violent tears when angered but few indeed have ever laid eyes on Esidisi's more nervous ones.

•His most serious habit is scratching.

•The massive man will rake his blunt nails up and down the skin of his huge arms, eyes vacant, until its visibly reddened and raw.

•At most troubling times, he doesn't stop there. There have been times where he's just sitting there, scraping away skin until he's bleeding with no signs of stopping!

•He's quite lucky he has the powers of regeneration on his side otherwise this would result in some wicked scarring.

•Though it is rare, there have been a few times where one of the others has to pry his own hands off him as this can go own for some time and its no good to have his scalding hot blood dripping all over the place.

•Especially if there is the threat of a fire starting because of it.

•Esidisi has a second and relatively more harmless habit thankfully, and that is bouncing his leg as he's sitting down.

•He doesn't realize he's doing it when he's doing it, of course, but the act tends to annoy Kars if gone on too long despite how minimal it is.

Wamuu:

•Much like Kars, Wamuu tries and often succeeds in keeping any little habits controlled and away from public eye but inevitably, even this Warrior caves at times.

•Wamuu's nervous habit started way back in early childhood, where little Wamuu had problems with chewing on his lower lip.

•At first his Masters deemed it just a trickledown effect of breaking the little one from a thumb-sucking habit and thought nothing of it, he would surely grow out of it, but as Wamuu grew and grew the habit in fact didn't change and only got nastier with time.

•It was at its worst when he was in his adolescence, in fact.

•Wamuu would just be absent-mindedly chewing at his lower lip, most often when anxiously awaiting orders or feedback from his Masters, teeth tugging harshly at the skin until it riped away and bled.

•This often resulted in poor Wamuu having the worst chapped lips and he'd have to remember to apply a lot of balm on then.

•Finally, his Masters deemed it time to intervene on this (not so) little problem and lucky for Wamuu he was of age to receive his own wedding ring of death and antidote piercing; which would go on his lower lip.

•With the ring there, it was a reminder to him to NOT bite his lips as he felt it sitting there everytime he made motion to do so, stopping him, and soon broke out of the habit.

•It still manages to resurface at times, Wamuu still can go through some balm if particularly peeved, but not as seriously as before.

Santana:

•Not many people get to see any or all of Santana's nasty nervous habits, mostly because he's adamant on being alone in those times.

•Hell, when he feels the urge coming on, he might just go out of his way to get out of sight and away from others first.

•Santana may be a quiet creature and have a tendency to be quite neutral in the face of many things but that doesn't mean he doesn't have his frets or tics.

•Firstly, Santana has a habit of muttering to himself.

•Brow knitted, teeth clenched hard in his mouth, he'll be grumbling under his breath in some strange tongue to nobody in particular but himself.

•As time goes on, sometimes it eases up and other times it only gets worse from there; it depends on the situation and what may be troubling him in the moment.

•On the rare side, Santana will mutter to himself until he runs out of steam and may actually fall asleep.

•On the not so rare side, Santana is more likely to escalate from muttering to full on growling, arms locked tightly around himself, nails leaving crescents in his skin as he rocks himself back and forth to no seeming end.

•Sometimes the rocking manages to deesculate his feelings (see 2 points above ^) but his rocking is more likely to lead to more feverish rocking and more feverish grumbling.

•It's best not to even think of disturbing him when he's like this; not if you want to get out unscathed.

•Santana is very, very wound up when he's like this and not all there mentally, almost like a caged wild animal, which can lead to him lashing out quite violently if approached or bothered.

•Yes, it's best to let Santana run out of steam when his little habits take the reins.

•Don't worry, once he's got it out of his system he'll most likely be as right as rain again and you won't see that ugly and unpredictable side of him again for some time.

Kars:

•Out of all of the Pillarmen, it's safe to say that Kars is the one with the most narrow view on Humans; let alone the ones able to wield the gift of Hamon.

•So, as you can imagine, the road to becoming the apple of his eye is a bumpy one.

•There will be a lot of hatred involved before you and him even get to a sort of love/hate stage.

•Hell, he has put it across to his own companions for Millennium that ALL users of Hamon are enemies and must be disposed of at ALL costs if they had any hopes of gaining what they wanted.

•But, in the end, it was inevitable. You somehow fell for him and he somehow fell for you, despite all this.

•For you, and ONLY you, Kars makes this exception to his one rule.

•As your lover, Kars does his best to look past your Hamon and focus on what else makes you the person he has come to adore.

•Your likes, dislikes, interests, hobbies and any other talents you may possess (besides the obvious) will interest him. He'll ask to hear all about them when you and him are together.

•This knowledge is vital to Kars as he is a man to spoil you with gifts and anything you like as he is too caught up in his work to properly devote much time to you if any.

•Other than that, don't be surprised if he also has questions on your Hamon and what makes it tick.

•Be prepared, as he will undoubtedly want to study your abilities (for his own gain in defeating the lower Hamon users in his way) but he will seek your consent on it first.

•Despite your drastic differences in morals and abilities, Kars will respect you as highly as he does his companions and will love you endlessly without question.

•Just don't get your hopes up on perhaps convincing him to defeat other Hamon users like yourself in a more Humane way and obtain the stone more peacefully. Having a Hamon user as a Mate does nothing to butter him up in that category!

•Kars did things his way and his way alone, he didn't give a damn on how many people he had to step on to get there, and if you didn't like that he would only encourage you to turn your head.

Esidisi:

•Admittedly, the gift of Hamon is something that has secretly interested Esidisi for as long as it has been a threat to him.

•He'd even go as far as to say that he admires the ability and perhaps a handful of the most powerful users he's encountered (and slaughtered).

•His devotion to Kars and his shared quest for Ultimate power, however, has made every Human in his way his immediate enemy.

•Things changed, of course, when you came into the picture.

•Like Kars, Esidisi makes this exception for you and you alone but that doesn't mean that he will seek Kars' approval before initiating a full relationship with you.

•It was rare that Esidisi would think to engage in something so openly against Kars' wishes but this was also an exception on his part. You had better consider yourself lucky.

•Despite this, Esidisi will take some care to be sure you don't get caught in the others affairs (especially if you aren't in the favour of his oldest companion) but ultimately because you are Esidisi's chosen lover no harm will befall you.

•Esidisi is a passionate man. With every bit of spare time he can get a hold of in between his missions for Kars in obtaining the stone, he makes sure he spends it exclusively with you.

•He'll satisfy you in every way but still leaves you craving more when forced to depart.

•He might even go so far as to bring you back something nice he found while he was out.

•Unlike Kars, he might want to know a little more about your Hamon just for the sake of his own interest (not his own gain). He respects you enough not to exploit you like that.

•Like Kars, however, do not think to even try and sway him from doing what must be done to those ill-fated souls who stand in his way.

•Esidisi has a job to do, he has his own goals to achieve and he can't make everyone happy in doing so.

Wamuu:

•This may come as a surprise to you but to Wamuu, it doesn't really matter to him personally whether you are a Hamon user or not.

•Hamon was just a battle tactic, a practice, no different from his own practices really.

•To him, only strength mattered. And because he found himself attracted to you, that meant that you had great strength indeed!

•However, this will prove to be a problem because he knew very well his Masters didn't share the same views as him on strength. Especially when it came down to the Hamon Tribe and its Warriors.

•If anything, Wamuu might just attempt to keep his relationship with you hidden from them all together.

•Wamuu wouldn't dare go against the wishes of his Masters and he knew very well that they would disapprove of this union. So as long as they didn't know this and he was doing his job of working to find the Red stone, everyone could be happy.

•Wamuu's encounters with you will be brief and fleeting because of this. No time for sweet nothings and romancing!

•He brings you gifts and likely only has time to exchange a few words before taking off as to not raise any suspicions and he hopes that is enough to satisfy you as much as it does him.

•But what is done in the dark will always come to light.

•Be warned, when Kars and Esidisi do find out about Wamuu running around with a Hamon user of all people under their noses, their disapproval is more than evident and Wamuu will be properly punished; no ifs ands or buts about it.

•Despite this, Wamuu will plead with them to spare you. It's the one thing he dares to ask of them!

•Chances are, since Wamuu has made his choice on making you his Mate despite their views, you will be spared but you are now under their strict watch and control. You will have no say in this.

•Look on the bright side, at least this way Wamuu will be able to spend more time with you and it won't be behind anyone's backs.

•The Warrior will undoubtedly ask you to spar with him and implore you to use your Hamon on him at that; don't you dare hold back! He uses your abilities to polish up his own skills.

•Wamuu will hate to see you unhappy (which you probably are in this situation) and he will do anything to make you at least a little happy but he has no say in this either, really.

•His love for you is deep and true, Hamon user and "enemy" or not. You complete him in ways no one else can.

Santana:

•Unlike the others of his kindred, Hamon is something entirely new to Santana. Something strange, exciting even.

•He's absolutely intrigued with the phenomenon. How does it work? How did you come by this? Are you the only one who can do the things you do?

•This is one of the reasons Santana decided to take you as his Mate in the first place, as it was clear to him that you were some sort of evolved form of Human and therefore more appealing to him than any other ordinary and unevolved Human.

•Expect many questions, Santana's eyes burning into you as more and more tumble out past his lips in deep, broken English.

•There will be much poking and proding and examining on his part too. Don't get upset if he tugs questioningly at your clothing (especially any Hamon conducting articles you happen to be wearing) as he's just trying to learn!

•He wants to watch you use it. He wants to see the lengths you can use it. He wants to feel it against him despite its danger just for curiositys sake.

•In turn, you may ask him any questions you have about him and his inhuman abilities. (Tread lightly if you question him on his kin, however!).

•It will become no secret that Santana is a possessive Mate. You are a special Human and therefore special to him and this made you are his and his alone.

•Even if you can defend yourself (which you undoubtedly can), you will never have to while you're with him as he will destroy everything he deems a threat to you.

•And that will include other Hamon users that come too close to his abode; don't think it won't!

•Though a little possessive, you are not his prisoner. You are allowed to explore his Home as much as you like, though he would prefer to travel with you when you do.

•He does his best to remember you have a much more complicated diet than him and will often go out to hunt and drag Home something specifically for you.

•Apart from his many questions about your Hamon, Santana is also quiet. So quiet it's awkward at points, offering little more than a "Hmm," or a grunt on the norm.

•You had best not get your hopes up on him being overly chummy and chatty with you so this is something you will simply have to get used to.

•Like his estranged companion Wamuu, Santana has the ability to sense if you are unhappy with your situation and will put an effort into making you happy.

•Despite your obvious differences in species, your Hamon is something that actually makes Santana feel more alike to you.

•More alike to him than even his own kind.

Kars:

•Kars never really gives out headpats.

•To anyone really.

•Not even to his Vampire underlings.

•But YOU are an exception in this, it seems.

•So you had best consider yourself one lucky Human!

•Even then however, it's not a very frequent occurance. Just a simple form of praise or appreciation to you on his part.

•Humans required encouragement every now and again to keep functioning.

•It's a sort of... awkward, light and evenly spaced pat.

•"Most exceptional, little one..." *Pat. Pat.* "You may carry on."

Esidisi:

•Esidisi is more generous with headpats than Kars is.

•In fact, he used to give them to both Wamuu and Santana when they were growing up all the time.

•His hands are big and wonderfully warm.

•12/10 would let him pat again.

•Sometimes He'll even just rest his hand there as he keeps talking away.

•His smile will make you want to melt into a big, giggling puddle.

•"Allow me to commend you for your efforts, little spark," *pat, pat, stroke* "Keep up the good work now!"

Wamuu:

•Only the most worthy who walk the Earth shall ever recieve a headpat from the mighty Wamuu.

•You've got your work cut out for you if you ever want to be on the receiving end of them.

•Work hard, prove yourself and through your determination you will be graciously rewarded.

•Wamuu is very gentle, patting you with just the heel of his huge hand as you lay there, panting.

•"Such spirit! You've done very well for yourself, small one." *Pat, pat.* "Hone yourself, temper your body and mind and perhaps you will grow strong enough to take on Wamuu!"

Santana:

•Santana doesn't really... headpat.

•Then again he doesn't really touch people on the norm in any other fashion, anyhow.

•Most likely, if you are to get a headpat from him it's because you gave him one first.

•Otherwise, don't get your hopes up on him initiating it by himself.

•You patted his head, it felt nice, so he reprocriates and reaches out to pat your head so you may feel something nice too.

•His hands are a little cold, fingers curl around your crown like he's attempting to pick up a ball between slow and even pats to your head.

•"Hmm," *Pat... Pat... Pat...* "Good, Primitive." *Pat... Pat... Pat...*

ATTENTION!!!

Ok. Just to be clear; Requests are still CLOSED. 😠

Over the past week my inbox has flooded with requests regardless that hasn't been changed. If any of you could see them you'd swear that I had opened them from the amount that's there now!

I'm making it clear that from now on if writing prompts/requests appear in my inbox while its status is CLOSED and I've announced that I'm not accepting any more in the time being, they are going straight into the trash; regardless of what the request is, how good it is or how nice you're being as you give it to me 😠

I really hate to have to do this but I'm at my limit! I have had a post pinned to the top of my blog stating that requests are CLOSED for the past few months now but it seems like people are just ignoring it! 🤕😩 This problem has been happening off and on in the past but it's becoming apparent that it's getting WORSE!

It's not fair on the people who I know have been patiently waiting in line for my requests to OPEN again when people keep barging into my inbox while it's CLOSED and filling it up again 😡

Just because I haven't posted in a while doesn't mean that I'm not working hard behind the scenes because I am! 🤕🥺 I REALLY am! And this problem is making it hard for me to keep up!

I can't thank all of you out there enough for your continuous love and support on my works but if this problem persists I will have to take things to the next level.

Kars with a Human s/o who is stronger than him...

•Kars always presents himself to onlookers that the trivial matters of strength is something he could simply care less about.

•And on the norm that is usually correct.

•However, in all honesty, this situation bruises his ego just a little...

•Well, bruised like the last banana of the bunch, more like.

•Don't get him wrong, this doesn't effect his feelings for you one bit. He loves you with every fiber of his being; he'll tell you that himself!

•It's just that-- well... he just can't seem to wrap his head around out how it's possible that you (a mere little Human creature) could ever be stronger than him!

•He's walked the Earth for Eons! He's raised and comanded legions of the undead! He's got the physique of a living deity and intellect that withholds the secrets of Life and the Universe itself!

•But YOU? You weren't even a tenth of his age! His size! You and him weren't even close to the same SPECIES and yet you could overpower him with seeming ease?!

•You might just very well find him pouting about it all.

•In a sense, you can't really blame him over it. He has worked VERY hard to become the powerful man he is today, tweaking masks and honing his skills for millennium to perfection, only for you to come along and easily push all that hard work aside.

•Please don't rub it in; anymore bruised and what's left of his ego will turn to banana bread.

•Under no circumstances are you to demonstrate your surprising feats of strength by picking him up and carrying him around like a baby!

•He hates that and will demand you put him down (not unlike an oversized fiesty cat).

•Though he won't deny that it's impressive you can do so in the first place.

•His little strain of zeal aside, Kars will indeed praise your strengths and any unique abilities you possess just as he would any of his equals.

•If he's in a sparring mood, Kars might even ask you to test that strength of yours against him. Maybe he can even learn from you and polish up on his own skills.

•Perhaps, somewhere deep inside, he felt a warmth blooming at the thought of having such a powerful little mate by his side.
