Today has been a productively creative day for me. But this is not about my success but about that of a good friend of mine. He shared his talents with me and I feel like I have to share that with others. In a weekend he built this beautiful headboard. I applaud his talents and creativity, his skill and dedication to his craft. Thank you Jesse for sharing this piece with me. You really are a skilled craftsman.

Change is hard. It’s a long process that takes time and dedication. I hope to rebuild and renew not only this piece but my commitment to my dreams. Each step is me getting off my ass to keep going and not to let my insecurity lead me away from my goals. The Gemini Project, as I have named it, has more meaning to me than just these twin chairs. It means facing both sides of me: creative and confident, while deferent and insecure. The challenge of two different personalities in one means some days I will never be sure which one I will face. So each day I look at my twins with good intention and constant commitment to them and myself.
