I think it's good to remind ourselves why we're unhappy. Answer: because we have certain expectations.
I'll repeat myself. We have expectations.
And these expectations lead to disappointment, frustration, sadness. They remind us of what we don't have. What if we focused (not even on what we have) but on what is?
What if we threw everything away and just silently noticed that we simply are?
Today I gave lectures that lasted 90 minutes for my colleagues from my dean's group. I think they were valuable and I myself passed on a lot of knowledge which, as it turned out, The lecturer himself couldn't have laid it out so nicely.
I focused on the moment and I'll tell you honestly. That I didn't expect anything. I was there.

As the year began, my motivation was sought everywhere. Even under the bed. But all I found was the old me who just grumbled back: "Why the fuck do you want to learn? Read what you have to read and go see a movie" . I'm not saying it's not tempting, because that's what I did yesterday. But the feeling of self-pity remains.
Don't be fooled by old habits, they won't tell you anything new.

I decided to do this whole 100 days of productivity challenge. Maybe it will finally work on my endless procrastination. But I'll do it my way. The plan is to do at least one thing a day that will develop me, or in any way bring me closer to achieving some goal. It may be trivial. But I like to appreciate Small things. For those of you who are curious, I have a yearly resolution that I still intend to keep. And I'll give you a simple example.
Once a month I do something I'm afraid of.
It sounds strange, maybe incomprehensible. So I'll give examples. In November I asked a store security guard to take a picture of me by the Christmas tree, because I was alone and I didn't have anyone to ask. But I really wanted a photo. I was afraid he would refuse or look at me askance, but the gentleman smiled and took two beautiful photos of me with a broad smile :)
The second example was that... I'm afraid of new places. I'm afraid of going to new places alone. And maybe I didn't go alone because I took a companion with me, I went with him to Warsaw. I saw how the train stations and trains work there, where to buy tickets. I'm not afraid of traveling by train, but unfamiliar stations make my stomach turn. Apart from the fact that the Warszawa Zachodnia station is under renovation. Oh, what an adventure that was :)

There may be something to this, although it would be nice to go deeper into it.Depression is not a temporary shitty mood, but a prolonged feeling of sadness and the desire to end it with a final outcome. This does not lead to a nice vacation. It leads to death.
I believe that anyone who seeks help will receive it. Always. People are not broken and rotten. Just full of hope. Each of us has hope. And it is at the same time the worst and the most beautiful feeling that can accompany us in life. Let's not hesitate to do what will improve our mood, because we may be pleasantly surprised.
A few days ago, I was in a grocery store and saw a Christmas tree display and asked the security guard for a picture. I got in the sleigh and smiled broadly. I was alone. But do you know how happy I was? Not because this photo will probably be forgotten someday, or this situation. But because I did something that brought me pleasure.
And I wish you to do something nice too. You deserve it :)

Today I read Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka.I had previously read summaries and the like, but reading this book brought a wave of new feelings directly to me.While Franz would have to be reconciled with what he wrote, internally he did not agree with what he included there.
If I had to rate it, it's 5/5, although the boy deserves a good hug.

I've noticed this is a common problem. You either talk too much or don't talk at all and you bottle it up.This post won't be long because I just want to ask you one question.
Why do you want others to understand you when you don't understand yourself?
You want to feel understood, you want to get support and security. Why can't you give it to yourself? What's stopping you?

This is a very good question, so let's think about it for a moment. Therapy is one thing, but our work on ourselves is another. Tricking our brain is easy, but does it have long-term effects? If you disappeared into your phone, you feel like you are fulfilling other needs in a very condensed version. These little adrenaline rushes help you detach yourself from reality very efficiently. However, in the long term we find ourselves in a trap from which it is difficult to escape. Although we have an inner feeling that we have compensated for everything, and that is a fact. But at what cost.... We can feel the most nicely in the world. But doesn't it later turn out that we are at the same spot as before?
How can you deal with this? In stages. You will never end this if you suddenly uninstall all the apps and say enough. Because in the end you will go back to what you were.
Instead of uninstalling all apps, uninstall one. And notice how often you want to click on it, and what other app you use to make up for its space. Give yourself time. You have to get used to its absence, then see how many minutes a day you have gained for real life. Be like this for at least a month/two before you uninstall another application.
It's good to think about what you can try to do in real life to fill this time. Maybe it's books, or an instrument. Or maybe developmental films or podcasts.
Getting rid of what destroys us little by little gives space for reflection and gives us a minimum sense of agency over our own fate. This feeling is liberating with every step. I promise.

It sounds a bit unclear, but the message is simple. When we waste our days on little trifles or activities that don't get us anywhere, we live in stagnation. We don't develop in any direction. Human,, in order to live, needs development. He needs fuel which is knowledge and he needs an efficient engine which is ourselves. Without self-confidence and hope of achieving something new, he achieves nothing. So don't let life pass you by without achievements and satisfaction, the world exists to make YOU feel good. And I assure you, nothing else matters.

I'm a bit shocked because I didn't expect that instead of Igor Herbut, the guy from The Sims soundtracks would appear among the performers.
Luckily I'm still the top Imagine Dragons fan, so it's not so bad.

Nazywa sie Notion. I ma ogrom darmowych opcji przez co notatki na podstawowym poziomie się ladnie zrobi 😃 jest tez jako aplikacja. Mozna w niej nawet robic projekty z innymi itp

I had a long weekend (like, literally, 4 days long) and unfortunately I spent 3 of those days depressed and unproductive but ! On the fourth day, me and my friend went to our uni - me with my studying and he with his art projects - and worked for 6 hours. It was really nice. I haven't done insanely lot, since my attention span is awful due to my worsening depressive episode, but it's still something to be proud of, I think.
