queer people with neopronouns and nounself pronouns arent the reason laws and bills are being passed to deny trans people access to healthcare and our rights to exist or the reason why people get misgendered in the street. leave people w/ badass pronouns alone, we are your family

Just an update on the CK situation [X]. Yeah yeah, I know it's "old" by now, but it still gives me the ultimate ick. It has never sit well with me and will never sit well with me.
Carnivorekitty/Niwinoodles/Yeehawcrow have rebranded (or reverted) as SinisterShrike
Itchio account link - name change
Neocities Link - official website
Comic Fury link - new account
Side tangent. If possible y'all should be protesting (if safe or able to do so) or signing petitions. Here's some links to petitions I have recently signed or shared around.
House Majority ~ End Blood Discrimination ~ Pass The Equality Act ~ Brianna Ghey
The more I see the world's governments & Xhitter become more dangerous towards trans & minorities the more I will stand up against it.
Keep yourselves safe & I wish everyone the best xx
#anyone who buys the game while knowing the shit he believes is not an ally and never will be#some of us actually care about people and prioritize that over fictional man dick#you cannot separate the art from the artist when theyre still alive and youre giving them money#have fun being on the wrong side of history :) (not directed at you op of course)#carnivorekitty#niwinoodle#sinister shrike#lurking for love

So much of the queer community Hates fluidity. Identifying as genderfluid or abrosexual is fine until you actually specify what genders or sexualities you're fluid between then it's "you're not a REAL lesbian" "you're not a REAL girl" etc.
Unironically it's "you can say you're fluid but saying how you're fluid immediately invalidates it" which is backwards ass binary bullshit.

Just so like... it's clear... anyone who censors words that contain "man" or "men" to anything like "xxn" that's TERF shit.
Any reference to women/womanhood that solely revolves around having a uterus or "womb" is TERF shit.
Any sentence where the OP says they support people being "trans identified" with quotes around ""transwomen"" or ""transmen"" is TERF shit.
I'm seeing a lot of you baby Tumblr gays out there not knowing what these specific TERF dogwhistles look like.
"Wombxxn" is an incredibly dumb way of spelling "woman" that treats the word "man" like a slur and also reduces women to their ability to give birth.
"Trans identified" is their way of saying "this person calls themselves trans, but I don't believe they are."
Saying "People should be allowed to identify however they wish, but we still need to protect women/children" IS TERF SHIT.
Learn to identify this garbage, because not all TERFs are going to spell out their intolerance for you. Some of them are going to try and seem reasonable and polite and normal, and it's fucking dangerous to our community.
Also unpack any internalized transphobia and your transmedicalism, because both those things will have you quickly siding with TERFs and bigots.

Imagine hearing about the endless amounts of bigotry a creator believes in/pushes and the events afterwards and your immediate response is "b-but is the game still gonna come out 🥺." Fucking wild LMAO.

PSA: never discuss private affairs in your DMs, especially contraception and abortion. Social media moguls will absolutely sell you out to the government. There are already cases of people being charged based on evidence in their DMs.

i just wanted to say as someone who came out as genderqueer in 2011, you are in no way obligated to switch from using "older" other gender terms to newer ones like nonbinary. it's okay if you like the term nonbinary, but it's also okay if you'd rather stick with something else instead, like neutrois, genderqueer, genderless, boygirl, multigender, or whatever else your preferred term may be. use what suits you

in order to remove the sexual stigma placed on breasts, we must move past the act of shaming people who are brave enough to go topless in public. myself and another transfem friend went topless at our local pride parade not because we were trying to be "sexual" at pride, but to protest the idea that some chests are viewed as inherently sexual and illegal to be viewed publicly, while some are not. it's not a sexual act for someone with breasts to take their shirt off.
i did not have anyone give me rude or sexual comments. i received a lot of approving nods, thumbs up and polite compliments, people were even reminding me that that's the spirit of pride, and hoped that they were brave enough to do the same in the future.
sometimes it's nearly 100 degrees and people with breasts get dangerously overheated. sometimes people with breasts just don't want to wear a shirt. their breasts are not an object for you to get upset about. their breasts are not an object for you to make a moral argument about. their breasts are a part of their body, and they're not scarring or hurting anyone by existing, they are another organ on the human body and someone else's breasts are not up for you to debate about.

The lack of understanding in cishets as to why we need pride flags is staggering. I literally had someone say, "I drink too much. You don't see me going to a church with a martini flag." It's because, for a trans queer like me, the assumption is that most people would rather I not be in public space. It may not be the case, but I need to treat a gun like it's loaded. All it takes is one bigot to ruin my day, or worse. I don't think I could go into a church without running a risk, and I sure as hell ain't going near one that doesn't have a pride flag.
The pride flag is not just a sign of I'm proud of who I am. It is a sign that I am welcome here. It is a sign I can exist in the space without the threat of violence or harassment. It is a sign of community. A sign that there are people out there like me. It is a sign of being seen, safety, and belonging.
We deserve that.

This whole situation has still been really upsetting me ever since it happened and really changed the whole vibe of this community imo. People casually brushing it off as nothing is disturbing to me. It's already depressing as it is regarding trans/queerphobia and the alt-right in the world now and it was a huge slap in the face to everyone who supported him or was friends with him to see him associating with those things.
Acting like nothing happened or even just saying it's a matter of difference of opinion is complete bullshit and extremely harmful. The people who Tom's bigotry wasn't directed at just get to brush this off and move on without the feeling of "people despise my existence" and "people want me dead." I also feel like the reason she's boiling it down to opinion could be because of something like Tom's transmedicalism. She's not trans so it's easy for her to not take sides and just disregard it as something that has nothing to do with her instead of doing research about WHY it's harmful and why it ties into other things such as racism.
She's the face of this community. Making a simple post showing your support for minorities in this community and that bigotry isn't tolerated here isn't hard, dare I say the bare minimum? I've been waiting on a post and giving her the benefit of the doubt for a while that she'll say something, but that doesn't feel like it's gonna happen and I'm getting impatient. How do we know that she doesn't agree with any of the "points" he made?
I'm not engaging with anyone who wants to argue on this. All I'm saying is that when you claim to be an ally actually mean it and don't be a fence-sitter for the love of god so that people don't waste their time.
The fact that Gatobob is going full "Good vibes only :)" with this situation is very telling, ngl.
She's being an absolute coward and refusing to take a stance. When you're essentially the mother of an entire genre, it's your moral responsibility to help weed out toxic and dangerous people
Silence is violence.
