We're doing collage now in my Explorations in Mixed Media class. I had a lot of fun with this!

For my exploration of mixed media in architecture course, we're studying and transforming precedent.
This week we were assigned two drawings. One in a "maximalist" style and the other "minimalist." We then had to reinterpret the drawings using similar techniques as the other.
I was assigned Yona Friedman's "Spatial City" (left) and David Chipperfield's "Museo Jumex" (right).

And here's what I have so far.

I set myself a time limit of 4 hours max for each drawing. I am prone to overworking things, and I need to be forced to streamline my workflow. I think I did much better with this assignment at using Illustrator (not by choice), and I'm proud of myself for making decisions and sticking to them.
I think there's more I could do to each, but it's been a fun exercise in both restraint and liberation!

Still working on this!
And another year it has been! There are a lot of areas of this I'm really happy with
Maybe in 4 years it'll be done at the rate I'm going lol

Been working on this drawing of one of my bettas on and off for like a year! Finally got some good lines down during class yesterday haha. Nothing helps me focus like coloring.
Anyway, I'm pretty happy with how it's shaping up. Not sure what I'm doing with the background yet, but it'll probably be another year before I even need to worry about it.

Terrible picture and I'm not a painter by any stretch, but I was having fun with some gouache I'm trying out for the first time

YALL. I was procrastinating a little today ahead of the next two weeks of hell (finals), and I was totally inspired to work on more mini figures for our PF2e campaign! One of our players is a were-red panda, and we tease her for being so cute when she uses intimidation.
Naturally I needed to make a mini for that ๐น
So here are the updated version of my bison and the were-red panda

Iโm so happy with both!

He's way far from finished, but I printed my sweet boy Kobe just to test him for size and stability and baby he is LOVELY

I need to wash the models better but I'm still so happy with how the AnyCubic is performing. And I'm proud of myself for starting to learn how to make my vision come through in modeling โบ๏ธ

I got Nomad a few days ago so obviously I had to try to model my main pathfinder oc, Kobe! I'm really happy that every time I start a new model, regardless of whether it's blender or this new program, I get better ๐

Quick doodle of my new Pathfinder character, Irreverence Murkwater the goblin gunslinger! She's on a quest to clear her name of a crime she may or may not have committed.
