I’m not going to talk too much about the whole Laurence Fox & Rebecca Front thing, except to say that 1) Ive expected something like this was going to happen for awhile given Lozza’s recent sh*tty behavior 2) it’s effectively killed any interest I might have in revisiting the Morseverse fandom 3) it still utterly devastated me and I feel incredibly depressed/guilty/stupid for dedicating so much of my time and mental energy to the fandom/show and especially to hathocent.
#this may be the last post i make on this blog tbh#i've been falling out love with the show gradually since like s6#and when i finally found a new hyperfixation; it sort of finally helped me break away#and lozza's being well objectively terrible definitely helped me finally move on

Her PA tells her the favourite theory is that Mr Innocent is long gone - scared off by a terrifying wife and a job that ate family life for breakfast and spat out the scraps. Apparently the pretence that he is still around is just a tactic on Jean’s part to further her career ambitions. She’s more amused than insulted by this theory. She hadn’t thought that Chief Superintendents were real people when she was a junior officer either.
