feferi like has the power/authority to check out the new grubs and stuff when she becomes heiress and her and karkat have been talking to the humans a lot and john has been telling karkat how great kids are and that he has a daughter with rose and karkat gets to thinking ‘maybe a grub to take care of wouldnt be so bad’ and he talks to feferi about it and she’s actually been talking to jade (who now has a son with dave) and thinks that raising a child would be really wonderful and so they go look around at all of the new grubs kinda like you look around at animals at an animal place and karkat just cant seem to get attached to any of them and a lot of them are screaming and crying and stuff but feferi thinks theyre all adorable but just when theyre about to leave karkat spots this little rustblood grub thats all quiet and kinda getting squished by the other one and karkats just like “shes the one” and he goes over and picks her up and wraps her up in the bottom of his shirt and feferi thinks shes really cute and they take her back to their hive and just raise her and theyre such happy parents and its really wonderful
