Let Me Calm You Down || Colton&Gabby

Colton: "Yeah, what if I didn't look cute doing it?" He quirked his eyebrow up as he questioned her, watching as she pulled herself up onto her horse. "How come it looks sooooo easy when you do it and I just failed a million times? Hmm?" He nodded his head at her instruction, watching her movements as she led her horse out of the barn. Colton repeated her actions and gripped on tight as he felt the horse begin to move forward. He did his best to keep looking ahead, afraid to look at the ground and as the horse made its way out of the barn he settled it into a trot alongside Gabby and Ace. "This isn't so bad."

Gabby: "You're going to look cute doing anything, Colt." She chuckled softly, sending the boy a playful wink, adjusting herself on the horse slightly, looking up at him once he asked his question. "I've been doing this for yeaaaars, Coltinator. This is like putting on a pair of pants, for me." She shrugged her shoulders lightly, before the horse started at a slow trot on the Berry property. She let Colton catch up with her, turning her gaze over to look at him. "When you start off slow, it's never bad." She shook her head lightly, petting Han Solo's head lightly, fleeting her tongue over her lower lip quickly. "Hm, ready for this?" She started up the pace of her horse, speeding in front of Colton, letting out a yell of pure enjoyment of the ride. "Keep up, Colt!"

Colton: He scrunched up his nose at her and shook his head. "Nope, all lies." Biting his lip, he slowly made his way over to the horse. He'd seen this done in movies many times and it couldn't have been that difficult, right? After two failed attempts to mount the horse, Colton finally managed to swing his leg over on the third attempt. "That was difficult," he breathed out as he rested his head on the back of the horse's waiting for Gabby's next instruction.

Gabby: She had to hold back her laughter at how cute Colton looked getting onto the horse. She shook her head lightly in amusement, flashing him a thumbs up once he finally mounted the horse. "It's a good thing you looked cute doing it, babe." She replied, sending him a playful wink, before she easily pulled herself up on Han Solo. "I'll go first, and I'll let you see if you can get Ace to trot alongside him, alright?" She instructed, pressing a kiss to her horse, before she instructed him to go, slowly, out of the barn, towards the open plains of the Berry property.

Colton: "Yes really," he managed to say before he felt Gabby's lips on his. Colton smiled in to the kiss before pulling back. "I think that did the trick," he said as he slowly placed her back down on the ground, resting his forehead on hers. "Definitely did the trick," he leaned down and gently pecked her lips one more time before placing a kiss on her nose. "Have I ever told you how cute your nose is?"

Gabby: She ruffled his hair lightly when he pulled back from the kiss, smiling gently at the boy. She blushed lightly at his words, adjusting her shorts lightly, chuckling softly at his compliment. "You're the one with a cute nose. My nose is the furthest thing from cute." She pulled away from his slightly. "Alright, Anderson. Enough with the sweet talk. Mount the horse." She clapped her hands, gesturing over towards Ace, tilting her head to the side slightly.

Let Me Calm You Down || Colton&Gabby

Colton: He watched her carefully as she maneuvered around the barn, when he saw her reach for the saddle he stepped forward slightly, opening his mouth to ask if she needed help, but closing it as he realized she had it under control. He looked back at her as he listened to her instructions, taking in everything that she said and committing it to his memory, he didn't want to mess up on his first ride. Colton smirked as the hat was placed on his head and he wrapped his arms around Gabby's waist as she pecked his lips. "I dunno," he said, bending his knees and moving his hands to the back of her legs, hoisting her up. "Maybe another kiss will help it sink in."

Gabby: The brunette squealed softly once Colton picked her up. She tightened her grip slightly on the boy, her lips curling up into a soft smile, scrunching her nose up slightly at the boy. "Oh, really?" She leaned down and connected their lips together slowly and gently, lacing her fingers behind his head. Kissing Colton was one of the best things in the world for Gabby. She was excited that they had finally gotten together after all the time they've spent crushing on each other. Even though they weren't that far into their relationship, Colton was the best boyfriend she'd ever had, by far.

Colton: More than anything Colton wanted to go out on the horse, but it didn't mean he still wasn't nervous for it, this was a completely new experience for him, but he trusted Gabby. He knew that while he was out there with her, he would be okay. "If you want to, I mean, we can wait, I'm good with anything. Well, as long as I don't have to stop petting the horse. They really are calming." He could feel his nerves settling, just being around the animals as well as Gabby was helping him calm down.

Gabby: "Well, Colton Anderson. Let's saddle up." She clapped her hands once, heading over to grab a saddle from a corner in the barn. She let out a soft groan as she carried it back over to the two horses, carefully setting it on top of Ace. "Since I'm pretty sure you've never ridden before, I'm going to give you some horse ridding 101 for you." She started, rolling her shoulders back slowly. "You need to position yourself carefully in the middle of the saddle, make sure you keep a firm grip on the horse's mane, or you're gonna fall off. And finally..you're gonna need.." She glanced around for a moment, before she spotted a cowboy hat, smirking lightly before she grabbed it, placing it on top of Colton's head. "This. Now you're officially ready to ride." She tilted the brim of his hat back slowly, slipping her arms around his neck slowly, pecking his lips lightly. "You got that, Partner?"
