Vans - Nothing in Between from Alberto Chimenti Dezani on Vimeo.
The motto of the Nothing in Between project, "go with the flow", could be the antithesis of the too often mentioned "keep on pushing". It is the fascination with the wheels' sound on the asphalt in a hypothetically infinite line, devoid of interruptions. "Nothing in Between" is the stream of consciousness of a skateboarder and his board: one trick after another, and nothing else in the middle.
Starring Jacopo Picozza Directed by Alberto Chimenti Dezani Supported by Vans
Titles by Evergreen Design House Still Photography by Davide Biondani @ a brief glance Soundtrack: "Mezare Israel Yekabtzenu" by The Jazz Workshop Special thanks: Ambra Gaspari, Davide Martinazzo, Lucio Pergola, Davide Feneri, Davide Biondani, George Boutall, Simone Verona, Federico Romanello, Giulio Repetto, The Good Life Studio.

UKKO | Storm-lapse from Riku Karjalainen on Vimeo.
Ukko, the god of sky and thunder, is arguably the most revered deity in Finnish mythology and folklore. Ancient Finns would pray to the old man of the skies for good weather or rain for the crops. Ukko was both respected and feared, as the god of the skies could easily turn the life-giving rain into a thunderstorm (Finnish: ukkonen), had he not been appeased.
Ukko storm-lapse takes you on a journey through remote and unspoilt Finnish lakes, wetlands and fells, where one can still witness the relentless and untameable forces of nature at play, unhindered by man’s comforts. Experience the storm as our ancestors did.
In ancient times people tended to the balance of nature with offerings to Ukko in hopes of favourable weather. Modern mankind, however, has long since forgotten this ancient balance, as we offer very little and take even more. We could learn a great deal from our ancestor’s relationship with nature.

Animals from The Animation Workshop on Vimeo.
Animals is an absurdist contemporary short film about the transformation of nine people stuck in a moving metro. What seems to be a normal day quickly takes a strange turn, when the metro doors refuse to open. The passengers’ failed attempts to get out, descend into frustrated chaos. Losing all sense of rationality, they go wild in order to ensure their own survival.

Forest Dreams (short film) from Yaroslav Primachenko on Vimeo.
See the full project on Behance: behance.net/gallery/75909263/Forest-dreams-(short-film)
Forest Dreams is a collaborative noncommercial project of two artists – Victoria Samoilova and Yaroslav Primachenko. It is our declaration of love to the animated films with their surreal imaginary worlds and characters that inhabit them.
We wanted to tell a story that happens on a misty night, when the world falls asleep. A story, which would be somehow dark, mystical and mysterious but at the same time would feel friendly and vibrant.

KORUA Shapes - YEARNING FOR TURNING Vol. 8 - Gone Boardin' from KORUA Shapes on Vimeo.
koruashapes.com
It’s quite simple really. After a few months off-snow and our focus elsewhere, we round up the gang again for the season we love the most. It’s like a band reuniting for another tour. To play the hits. To do it all over again. That’s what it feels like for us, and it feels good. Vol. 8 is about that feeling, those moments, the weekend trips, lap after lap, the carefree fun of snowboarding together. For a few months of the year that’s a privilege we’re fortunate to have. We reflect upon all of this in the form of a short film each winter, and come December we reset the clock and start over. Until next time – we’ve gone boardin’.
Featuring: James Niederberger, Gabriele Torriani, Nicholas Wolken, Lars Popp, Stephan Maurer, Raphael Rocha, Thomas Stöckli, Runar Péter Hjörleifsson, Atsufumi Mizuno, Pepe Regazzi, Kiara Schwartz, Cyril Müller and Aaron Schwartz

Out Of A Forest from Tobias Gundorff Boesen on Vimeo.
Running time: 5:53 Stop Motion on location / greenscreen Directed by: Tobias Gundorff Boesen Animation by: Katrine Kiilerich, Frederik Villumsen, Christophe Peladan, Tobias Gundorff Boesen Light and Photography: Martin Bested, Andreas Berg 2010 The Animation Workshop
My Bachelorfilm from The Animation Workshop. Set to the song "Slow Show" by The National, who were kind enough to allow me to use their music. It is a non-commercial short film, intended for festivals.
It is shot in the forests surrounding Viborg, Denmark. My main inspiration was victorian litterature, and "Boxer" by the national. It was painful to finish, as shooting stop motion in the forest at night for longer periods turned out to offer alot of problems :) But it was also great fun and adventure.
