The first @millennialmomsph #momtribe I've attended was years ago, months after I gave birth. And that was the very first mommy event that I have joined in. I was nervous back then because I don't know what to expect. It's the first time I met Ms. @dettezulueta and she never made anyone feel left out. I remember her roaming around talking to everyone even for a short while. We were around 50 pax then. But I felt so happy and relieved after that day because I have learned a lot and I've also found my new home. . . . Fast forward to yesterday's event, which is my second momtribe event, and I felt happier! Our home has grown bigger, I knew more familiar faces and yet I met new ones. @omniandbryce 's talk made me realize how different our time is now in terms of parenting. I love how natural they are and used examples from their own lives. I will remember the 7 tips they shared and apply it to our lives as parents and as a family. I'm now officially a fan! . . . Dra. Alignay's talk on #DigitalParenting made me more confident to use gadgets as a way to maximize learning. I totally agree that gadgets are not bad as long as we moderate its use, and use it as a tool in enhancing our child's development. As Dra. also mentioned, we can also use it to have more #meaningfulconnections with our kids. . . . Lastly, I've finally downloaded the @theasianparent_ph app and I was so amazed at what it does! My favorite feature is the media where I can choose videos and audios that are appropriate to my son's age! To all mommies out there, you should download it too! . . . This is such a long post but definitely worth it to share.
