Previously my go-to background music for doing anything around the house, or for much-needed ‘stare-into-space’ time was ‘They’re Taking the Hobbits to Isengard’ 10-hour version, or the ‘He-Man Heyeayea’ song 10-hour version (don’t judge me!) But now, to go with my utter obsession with the Loki show itself is my utter obsession with the MUSIC! Oh my god. Perfection.

As I’ve mentioned previously, at length, I adore Loki and Sylvie as a pairing, but I can’t help feeling that any interaction I’d have with a variant of myself would go quite differently. And not just because neither of us are likely to be Loki or Sylvie shaped (I am more akin to potato than human), but simply because of who I am as a person.

Me: “Hey, do you remember that thing that happened?”

Me Variant: “Oh god, yes! Totally! That was bullshit!!”

Me: “And all that other stuff that happened? How effed up was that?”

Me Variant: “I know right?! Hey, there’s this great place I go to cry in peace, wanna see?”

Me: “Hell yeah I do! I’ll bring the wine.”

Ok, so, it’s been a long time (years) since I’ve been on Tumblr, and I came back specifically for quality Loki x Sylvie content, which I have received in abundance! BUT, I also seem to have stumbled upon some kind of war I was previously blissfully unaware of?!

What the hecking HECK is up with people hating on this ship? I am an avid, avid sci-fi, fantasy, superhero etc fan who will ship just about anything but I have never before felt the way I feel about Loki and Sylvie, with the possible exception of Dean and Cas. I’m all for Loki and Mobius too, but DAMN, that moment on Lamentis-1 when Sylvie touches his arm? I must’ve rewatched that moment a hundred times (thank god there’s a gif now and I don’t have to sit there and manually replay lol).

Instead of fighting each other, let’s unite against the people who complained all over Facebook that Loki was boring (the nerve!!) THAT is the war I want to fight!

After a long hiatus from writing fanfics and posting on Tumblr due to things like real life (ugh), depression (double ugh) and other y’know, stuff, I’ve started writing fics again. And it’s due entirely to being UTTERLY obsessed with the Loki TV show, I ship Loki and Sylvie so hard I can’t even deal! I’m pretty sure anyone watching me watch that show would think I was being repeatedly stabbed from all the times I squealed and dramatically clutched at my chest.

Anyway, I’d love to know what you guys think! It’s primarily a fic about them falling in love, but I will warn any potential readers that there is some violence and lots of hanky panky... ;)
