i just think any website that shows you ads before you're allowed to see content is too big for their boots. what happened to the humble sidebar ad. my old wise friend the unintrusive banner ad. i'll even take pop ups at the bottom of a video over this.

Ttrpgs are fun because one session your PC who has been sober for 10 years gets drunk, had a horrifying PTSD episode, and hooks up with the ex she almost stabbed in a different PTSD episode 5 years ago, and then a few months later that same PC is getting ready to retire while in a relationship with that ex and a child.
#if this sounds like your game no it doesnt mind ur buisness#ttrpgs#annie my beloved. you got problems

Bringing this back to also reccomend Dwelling. Its a story about memory and a haunted house, but i would say you need to buy the physical book, dont get a PDF.
hi! just saw ur journaling ttrpg post and i didn't even now that was a thing! if u don't mind, could u recommend any you've done?
Im going to answer this publicly because Im also pretty new to the genre myself and I wanted to give other people the opportunity to chime in! Ive personally played Thousand Year Old Vampire, which was incredibly good if you like tragedy/horror, and im looking forward to playing Dwelling sometime. The creator of Thousand Year Old Vampire has made several others as well I believe, and Ive seen a lot on itch.io as well. If anyone else can reccomend solo/journaling RPGs please add on!

Idk if anyone’s aware but subnautica devs are teasing the next game through time capsules, which has to be the coolest way I’ve EVER seen something revealed. here’s one found by whoismyname on the discord

The final inks and initial sketches for the character Ray in Where the Water Tastes like Wine. Ray is a cowboy out of time. His metaphorical “transcendent” form was intended to represent the final death of the frontier as the united states entered the 20th century.

Hi,
I know this is an extremely small and not very active blog, but i wanted to say this explicitly - if you are an american and you voted for Trump, you are not welcome here.
Talking about games brings me joy and I will need that going forward, so i hope to be a bit more active here and maybe even post some longer stuff. Do something today that makes your day better (maybe play a cute game like coral island or something).
Thanks for reading this kind of random post, and if you want to send me a game you think I should be playing.
❤️

One of my fave little tidbits in scarlet hollow is how the traits you have are also subject to [REDACTED]s manipulation like. When she manipulates you the traits that so far provide you reliable extra bonus information about the world are like "shes right, you should feel bad for doubting her" like. Insane writing choice that somehow maintains choice in removing player agency i love it
#scarlet hollow#been replaying chapter 4 while dealing with work bs bc i cant play a new game rn#its a good game 10/10 would reccomend to anyone who likes horror and is open to visual novels#like having keen eye and having it guilt trip you? or having book smart also lecture you? w i l d#like having the dialogue option to doubt her then not even having the ability to use it? WILD
