Heretic 1994 Playthrough

Hey, here is the first level from the 1994 game Heretic. It is basically a modified Doom Engine that was used by Raven Software with the Help of iD Software personalities of the time. It is a Fantasy Shooter which led to Hexen and Heretic II. Messed arouind with this a younger kid but never fully went through the game and as much as the Doom video I'm trying to go through it trying to be as close to 100% on the levels.

Have you Ever Played 1993 Doom?? I have but I never went through the game fully let alone finish it but I am trying to attempt this now in my middle later years of my life. It is awesome and fun that there are tools and mods that can make this game run at higher resolutions and quality such as the above video shows. Here is Episode 1 Mission 1 of Doom 1993 - Hanger.

It is however played via a PS5. Forgive the darkness of the video was trying to some visual magic but it turned out for the worse...sorry

Hey, Also started playing the remaster of Sly Cooper and The Thievius Raccoonus. Playing via PS5 and PlayStatin Plus Streaming Ability.

Sony also just released a Native version of the this game as well using their new (new-ish) emulator software for PS2 games which works well they just need to improve resolution.

On the No Commentary Channel I took a chance on playing Blake Stone Aliens of Gold. Game uses the Wolf 3D engine. Here we have a modified engine that runs the game at higher quality and performance than the original.

Also I started playing on the No Commentary channel, a modified version of Wolfenstein 3D where it enhances the quality, detail, and controls in line with say the game Doom. Pretty Cool Honestly to be able to play these old games on modern hardware.

Need to Tweak Things

Hello everybody I have made a conscious decision about things. In this day and age of 120hz+, 4K, 8K, 12K, and soon 16K content the amount of time it takes to record, render it down after editing and waiting for the damn thing to finish, to wait maybe another hour to upload is fairly ridiculous for someone that has a real world job and somewhat of a family life - it just takes too much time.

So with that being said NO I am not stopping the channel I am just tweaking the format of how I do things. From here on out any video content be it uploaded or streaming on YouTube or other sites the content will be at 720p60 resolution and framerate.

Maybe in the future the possibility of using Patreon for Higher Quality Uploads is something to think about but for now: 720p60
