God i think i already have an entire post about it but it drives me nuts in the best way possible that Ema was introduced in the "look at how fucked up the police force are" case where her sister specifically got fucked up because of how corrupt the police were and then post 7 year gap she failed to get her dream job and ended up being a fucking detective and shes pissed about it. Like she hates her job with a passion, not only because its not what she wanted and klavier annoys the shit out of her and phoenix is disbarred but. She works in the same job her sister had before their life went to shit. Of course shes mad and doesnt do her job properly.
