For rotating around the map, just try and keep as close to the ring as possible and lessen your chances of teams trying to gatekeep you and dying to the storm. Getting kill points early on are also very helpful so you'll have a leg up with not only rp but also placement. Keep track of the map in each round and try to predict where the ring will pull. As the ring gets smaller, it would be best to try and get to as close to the end point as possible.

I've had my fair share of rando teammates running off and I tend to just follow them for the most part as there's not much to do there unless you communicate with them. If they do have mics, communicate as much as possible. There are times though that I'd follow my gut and not follow or at least warn my teammates about an area they're running off towards. There's really not much I can say there.

As for what legends to play, it all depends on your play style. I know I said that Octane and Mirage were a no, which that was just a thought in the moment, but you can use them if you want. I only said that because I haven't had the best experiences with randos playing them. It's always good to be well rounded with at least 3 legends in my opinion. Personally I only use legends who I'm confident with their skills. Playing pubs and using the firing range are the best with trying to get good with a certain legend.

With World's Edge, I use Caustic about 90% of my matches, but if I'm not playing Caustic, I'm playing Lifeline and or Bloodhound. You don't have to play as aggressive with them which is why I use them since aggressiveness isn't really my thing. Like I said, use whoever is best suited for your play style and if you're confident in using their abilities and effectively. If there's anything I missed or need to clarify just let me know.

Wait what exactly do you mean by the rotate exactly? Just move around the map or something else?? Bc if so I do that all already lucky for me... It's the randoms that I have issues doing the run off stuff... And is the Mirage and octane stuff also for world edge? Right now I main Wraith as she's all I can super play on this map ~~so I kinda hope no one else plays her or its like... Random who to pick bc idk who's super good lol~~ but like on world edge I'm gonna have issues bc I won't be using her that map so... I normally use either Mirage or octane for that map so... I guess any tips on replacement for them for when that map roles around? I guess I could go Casutic or wattson... But Idk who's super useful in later levels Ahh, so I guess if you have tips there too that would be super helpful! Or any tips on what to do about randoms... But if you don't thanks anyways that's still helpful to know that doing that stuff is the right thing to do

As you said, it's the player behind the character (I probably should've clarified that's what I meant) but nearly all of my experiences have been pretty much the same negatively. I do believe that Crypto is a great character and can be a great asset if you use him correctly, as you said.

It does get frustrating however when it seems like the person doesn't know how to play that character at all. Whenever I play ranked, I get into such a competitive mindset so I start thinking about plays even during the legend selection.

Your opinion is very valid and I'm not trying to bash anyone. I just want people to make better decisions not only for theirself but for their team.

I just have to rant about this.

Can someone please tell me what goes on in the minds of people who willingly pick Octane and Crypto in ranked? There has not been a single game I've had with either that has been even remotely good. It's always the Octane's full sending a team off drop with barely anything to their name and the Crypto's tend to stay behind and not even try to help fight or be there at the very last minute and still die.

It's annoying at this point and I'm tired of it. Since I have no people to rank up with, I'm stuck playing with randos. I admit, I've have many good games with randos and had a lot of fun of course, but what I described just irritates me to no end. It's ranked, not pubs. I try not to judge anyone based off of what legend they pick, but it's sad when the negative predictions turn out to be true 99% of the time. That statistic only irritates me more. All of us have RP on the line and stuff like this hurts everyone on the team.

Like I just want people to use their brains for once in this game, especially ranking. I'm a mere lifeline main having to take care of babies half the time. I can't 1v3 every single team we come across.

There's a video on YouTube showing all the voice lines involving the legends upon map switches and I've noticed in game Bloodhound seems uncomfy with Olympus but I think I found out a possible reason bc I think they're afraid of heights.

"We journey to Olympus. It is," Concerned tone of voice. "...Very high."

This is how I feel right now with the new Bloodhound and Loba interactions. Like, I'm a sucker for theories and with these two interacting, two characters who are vastly different from each other, the theory brain is on 100. I am very much a simp for Bloodhound as well so this is making my love for them even worse

Do y’all really think Bloodhound wouldn’t have had to be dragged onto those ships and off of their home planet, which was being destroyed before their eyes? Do you really think they would’ve walked onto those ships, knowing they were leaving everything they had ever known to be destroyed by the hands of some greedy company, and have been perfectly fine? There was no mention of grief on Bloodhound’s end, and I sincerely hope the lore we get has a bit of that mentioned next season because respawn cannot expect me to believe Bloodhound would just…be alright with the home they lost their entire family on being destroyed.
