He wasn't my therapist but my psychologist and he told me (a victim of sexual abuse for about 3 to 4 years during my childhood at the hand of my cousin and in my 20s i started going to therapy because of that and a few more issuea piled on that) that "when you are being raped if you cant stop it, enjoy it" and he repeatedly told me that during 3 to 4 sessions. I was at a very vulnerable stage in my life and i still dont know what to make of the things he said.

(side note: I had trouble showing emotions like sadness and hadnt cried for ages before going to therapy as i used to think crying is for the weak(i was a dumb kid) so maybe he said that to make me cry but damn thats still a fucked up thing to say)

My mania makes me talk a lot and my group therapist interrupted me to say that maybe we should have a word or phrase to get me to stop talking. I felt really embarrassed. I’m still adjusting so idk if this is me overreacting and I know she didn’t have malicious intent. I just want to know I’m not the only one this has happened to. I don’t intend on dropping her.
