Good News or Bad News?

Remember when it was socially acceptable to berate your friends for “constantly” posting social media photos and videos of such good experiences as nice meals and desserts? 

Well, turns out the current social media darlings are “influencers,” who SELL you what your close friends once provided for free: recommendations for good experiences.

So let’s see…would you rather see photos and videos of good food and good times? Or the latest death tolls from every natural disaster and political conflict on the face of the earth?

There are many, many days when I do NOT want to love my neighbor. But my mind says, “Suck it up! You’re on this planet together; you have no choice!!”

So I suck up the self-pity, dial up the tolerance, smile, and say: “Good Morning!!” And nothing more. No insults, no inner monologues, no sarcasm, just “Good Morning!!” Sunshine emoji!!!

Whatevs. “Apostasy” means little to me. I just see people worshipping politicians, while simultaneously professing worship to “one God” and “one religion.” 🤣🤣🤣 Yeah, okay…that’s illogical, but go on and have your hate-happy fun. Leave me out of it.
