Gather Your Party is an 18+ Dungeons & Dragons 5e RP primarily focused on those in-between moments along the course of an adventuring campaign.

Our aim is to offer both sandbox-style, open RP sections that make free use of liquid time and (some) homebrew, as well as more structured, traditional quests with DM involvement.

We offer three types of RP formats to choose from:

Guided Quests: DM-led adventures.

Open Quests: Player-led adventures with some DM involvement.

Freeform: Player-led scenarios of any kind.

We are currently seeking mods who have experience setting up and using discord bots, and/or are willing to do promotion and advertising on forum directories and other places. Apply here:

The plan is to offer a sandbox-style open space. There will be three types of settings: Guided Quests (DM-led), Open Quests (DM optional), and Freeform (No DM unless requested).

Original characters are the primary focus, but canons are welcome too.

Ideally, any character from an official D&D title or one that can be easily adapted to fit D&D will be fair game. For example, if you're itching to play Alistair of Dragon Age, or Serana of Skyrim, you can.

With the sandbox concept in mind, there will not be too much restriction on 'claim'-type things. So if someone took Alistair and you really want to play him too, you can but in a different thread/scene/campaign. It will be structured to allow this. Same goes for face claims.

At the moment, we are Discord-only. A Jcink forum may be added/transferred to in the future, but we can make no guarantees at this time.

All features will be subject to vote and feedback as we progress.

We are currently seeking staff who are knowledgeable of discord Bots and maintaining them. Beta testing members will also be needed.

Discord now open!

Hello to those still interested! Unfortunately, I have decided that this RP will be Discord-only, with no jcink forum. It may happen in the future, but there’s no guarantees.

My apologies for those who prefer forums. Luckily Discord has had such RP-friendly additions lately, including a forum channel type that functions very similarly in structure. Not to mention some great character bots like Tupperbox.

If you’re still in, feel free to stop by the server with no pressure to stay. We’re still in the early stages after all. The goal still remains: character-driven sandbox style play with optional adventures written and DMed by staff which will still be focused on character relationships and interactions and the occasional dice roll should the occasion arise.
