I’ll see if I can fill out the rest of these as I get the time, but I had another concept strike me for today. Poor Chloe’s butler, whatever your name might really be...

Gabriel Agreste hasn’t taken off his gloves all night.

It is customary to remove them for a handshake, particularly when one greets the host or hostess. Such a norm goes unsaid in polite society, and Gabriel Agreste is nothing but a creature of polite society. At least, it seems he would very much like to let himself and everyone around him believe so.

And yet, the gloves stayed on the whole night. Even as he entered, taking Miss. Bourgeois by the hand and pressing thin, cracked lips to the skin just beyond the knuckles, he did so with a hand sheathed in white satin. When he smiled at her, it was crooked, teeth somehow out of their proper place.

“Jean-Luc, more champagne!” She called for him in a tone just half a pitch too high. Her posture was bent and shaky in a way her mother, had she been here today, would never have tolerated. The first thing he did, as he carried the tray atop his right hand, was sneak a glimpse at her nose. Her upper lip was, surprisingly, bereft of any trace of powder or water. And yet she was shaking. She disguised it, certainly—one hand laid on the arm of a mostly balding general, the other arm interlocked with Gabriel Agreste, and yet she was still shaking.

As he attended the party, he was sure to attend to the needs of all the guests, with particular interest in Miss. Bourgeois and her friends, and very particular interest, now, in the affairs of another of their guests, who was here making his first prolonged public appearance in what might have been months.

It was here that he noticed something quite peculiar. 

She had not left his side all night.

I don't know if you already answered this but do the sentikids (Adrien, Felix, etc) feel pain? Like when his jaw is ripped off does Felix feel any pain at all from it?

What’s it like to be akumatized? It’s really quite simple.

You’re sitting on the couch. Or standing in the street. You’re on the phone. It’s a normal day.

Then something happens. It almost doesn’t matter what.

Didn’t for me.

The important thing is: you hear Him.

His voice is so soft, so gentle. You can feel each and every hair on your neck prick up as He whispers to you. Blood rushes to your cheeks. Your heart starts to speed up. You can’t help but close your eyes. A gentle warmth starts to creep its way up your body. Soft strands of it wind themselves, slowly, around your legs.

He’s telling you things you can barely even understand. The warmth is up in your head now and it’s like you can feel each hot breath in your ear. The words all start to fade, and you just slowly nod along.

Your heart is thundering now.

His hands slowly glide over your body under purple clouds. The fingertips just barely float over your skin, the minute tingling feeling giving way to your new form. There’s a ghost of a presence, a featherlight embrace. Then there’s nothing.

You can’t see Him, or feel Him, but you just know, somehow, that He's watching you.

You want to make Him proud.

It’s a feeling like nothing else in the world.

AGENT [REDACTED]: “So you’re saying you’d want to be akumatized again?”

I’m saying I’d rather rip that gun off your belt and shove it in my mouth.

Gosh I love your marinette so much. Especially the way you've written her. Like yes she should be able to kill people. As a treat. She should become an enemy of the state. As a treat. I also loveee her ladybug design especially the eyes, they make her look eerie of that's the word and we love a girl who's eerie

thank you !! she's a lot of fun to think about. i really like the "team captain" aspect of her character in the show and i think its really well done ! but i also wanna see her struggle a little more ? like she needs to fuck up more. she's a child under horrible stress and she deserves to lash out at people who don't deserve it either. she needs to get ugly.

in general i want the au to focus more on how the plot is affecting the characters mentally but also how it's changing the city around them

the true difference between vanilla!marinette and la terreur!marinette is that ours has an invisible homelander that follows her around and gives her horrible advice

Here's a quick sample of the things I've written for Miraculous:

-Love and War, my 2022 Big Bang fic, which is your classic enemies AU with a twist—Ladybug is the one working for Hawk Moth. It's got action, tension, fun identity shenanigans, and a sweet ending.

-Once More, with Feeling, my 2023 Big Bang fic. It's a time travel story in which Adrien, Nathalie, and Chloe are all sent back in time by one of Ladybug's plans. It's a little bit more psychological and ultimately bittersweet.

-Ulterior is a set of thematically linked stories about eldritch kwami that slowly twist their wielders around their aspect—psychological and spooky.

-Tax Evasion is an older fic of mine that takes place in and around Hawk Moth's trial—convicting someone of magical terrorism is hard!

-Days of Rage is a set of interconnected one shots set in a 1960s AU. I have a lot of thoughts about it, and occasionally I write some of them down.
